"Is Juvia there?" I asked and Juvia squeaked.
"Juvia is here" She said and I looked to the floor.
"Laxus wants to speak to you" I said and then heard some noises.
"Juvia will be there in 5 minutes" She said and I left.
Chapter 21
*Lucy's point of view*
They were making a huge fuss about me been sick, like if I haven't gotten sick before. I rolled my eyes and tried to stand up. Their attempt, on keeping my fever in the low, failed and everyone was in my room. Juvia was nursing me while Levy and Wendy were in my bed, Laxus and Sting were against a wall talking, Gajeel was against another wall talking with Rogue, Natsu and Gray were on the floor doing some random thing? I don't know. Their plans were canceled and everyone was determined to get me better. I let out a growl and closed my eyes, "I wanna take a shower" I said and Juvia nods. Laxus apparently heard and grabs me bridal style. I looked at him and tried to push him away. "I can walk" I said but he didn't notice. Great! I'm talking to the wall now?
"Give me her clothes, I'll take her" He said and I glared at him. No effect. I'm starting to hate this man that I'm in-love with.
The days seemed to pass quickly as summer was coming into an end and school was right around the corner. The day before classes started they decided to drag me to a bond fire they made in their spacious yard. It was still Morning and they were preparing everything. I got out of my room with some shorts and a summer shirt. It was very hot that morning and I smiled as I saw Levy coming out of her room with Wendy. "Hello" I said and they waved at me. We all went downstairs and they decided to help cook some food for later. I went to the living room to find Sting. "Morning" I said and he lift his gase at me. He gave me a smile and stud up. I walked towards him and he gave me a tight hug.
"Summer was great" He said as I breath in his scent.
"Yea" I smiled and he squeezed me more.
"I'm still gonna fight for you even in school" He said. "I'm not ready to give you to that Laxus" I giggled but he was serious. I had a bad feelings about those words but I couldn't help but laugh. I decided to walk outside and found Gajeel.
"Lucy!" He said and I hugged him. "Ready for tomorrow?" He asks and I nod.
"It's gonna be awkward" I laughed and he raised a brow.
"Why?" He asks and I smiled.
"Cause I'm gonna walk in, all eyes on me because I'm gonna be with my family." I said and he chuckle.
"Don't like attention? We got it" He crackled his knuckles and a giggled. Noon went pass quickly and I found myself in front of Laxus door.
"Come in" He said from the other side of the door. I gasped, how did he knew I was here? "Lucy..." He said when I didn't answer. I search through my line of thought to see if I should go in or not and suddenly the door flew open. "Babe" He said in a husky low voice and I blushed.
"Yes?" I asked and he grabs my hand.
"I know I should have said this a long time ago and probably it's not the right time to ask you right now but..." He said as he kneels in one knee. My eyes widen.
"Laxus... I..." I tried to find words and I couldn't.
"Wanna be my girl?" He asks and I looked away.
"Laxus I... need time..." I said and he frowns.
"Can I still have a kiss?" He asks and I giggled giving him a quick peck. He quickly stands up and pulls me closer. I kissed him back as he pulls me inside his room and closes the door. Oh well, I couldn't do nothing about it.
Night came and the fire was visible from Laxus room. I yawned and got out of his bed quickly and ran to the bathroom, got ready and went downstairs. There I spend time talking about random things with my sisters and brothers and cousins. We laughed and played some pranks to each other. Like a family should. I smiled softly but after 12 I got back to my room. My eyes closed and I drifted to sleep.
I appeared in the house and met with everyone, one by one. I soonly got my first attack and my molesting. I met my new parents and they went to a vacation. We went everywhere in summer and had fun moments. We cried and laugh and I was now near the bond fire. I looked at my family and smiled. I saw my sisters, brothers and cousins- wait... there's something fishy here... who are really these people? They claim to be my family but... I out of nowhere got adopted by two people who only appeared a few days this summer. Wait... my parents?! What happen to them?! Who really is Laxus? Sting? Gajeel? Levy? Wendy? Juvia? Who is Rogue? Natsu? Gray? Mavis? Yury? My family? Mom... Dad... WHERE ARE YOU?!
I gasped as I got out of my dream and looked around. It was about to be 6:30 and school starts at 7:45. "Fuck! I'm gonna be late." I said as I ran to the bathroom and they were occupied. I groaned and waited for who ever was in there to come out. Levy came out of the bathroom and looked at me.
"You okay?" She asks.
"No, I take wayyy too much time to get ready and I don't got enough time." I said and she chuckled letting me get in the shower. I quickly finished after a few minutes and got out. I grabbed a random decent outfit and put it on me. I start to apply make up and do my hair.
"Oi Sis, you have blue shoes I can borrow?" Levy said as he walked in and I thought for a moment about the word Sis. I shook my head.
"Sorry, check Juvia" I said and she nods. I then did the finishing touches and headed downstairs. We all were in the kitchen eating breakfast with our bookbags and fresh outfits. It was about 7:35 when we reached school and I let out a deep sigh as I got out of Laxus' car with the sisters. They smiled as everyone looked our way and walked towards Gajeel's car. I followed them and kept a close eye on everyone around me. I was feeling very nervous for some reason and then the sensation I was having became clear when my eyes landed on Laxus.
"Laxus! I missed you!" A white-headed girl ran towards him. My heart sank as she kisses his lips with passion. Laxus hugs her back and kisses her cheek.
"I missed you too Mira."
You guys... I'm sorry! I was tooo busy and I just found time to update this. Anyways I'll update more frequently hopefully so I'm so sorry.
