Chapter 20: Confidence
A/N: This is set pre-Breaking Spell. Udonna has not yet had Bowen.
Udonna stared at Leanbow as he and Daggeron trained. Leanbow seemed to be holding something back.
After the training session ended, Udonna asked, "What is it?"
"I feel confident that Daggeron is ready to be knighted sooner than most expected," Leanbow replied, yanking her into a kiss.
She smiled and said, "What about defeating the Darkness if they, theoretically, ever attacked?"
"Oh, we'll beat them too," he teased her gently, as he pressed one hand against her stomach.
She smiled and he added, "And I have the utmost confidence that we will be great parents."
He then turned to Daggeron and the young squire nodded and darted off back to his own cabin.
