"So, whose idea was it to move my stuff to Zoro's room?" Sanji asked in a sing song voice just as everyone had begun to eat.
As soon as he asked, however, everyone froze, except Zoro and Sanji himself. Each member was trying to distinguish the mood their cook and Swordsman was in.
"D-Do you not l-like it?" Chopper stuttered out nervously.
Everyone waited for Sanji's answer as if their lives depended on it. Even Luffy was scared to eat any more than he had.
"You shouldn't be so nervous Chopper. I'm fine with this arrangement, as is Zoro." Sanji said as he turned to said Person and added "Right Zoro?"
Not really carrying what was going on, Zoro muttered some incoherent words and continued to eat. "See. He agrees."
Relieved sighs were heard around the table as everyone began to eat again.
Looking down at his own plate, Sanji cut into a piece of meat and started speaking again. "I'm just curious as to who put my clothes in the room."
Once again, everyone stopped but Luffy, not registering the atmosphere, spoke happily. "Oh that's easy. I and Usopp did it."
Sanji lifted his head up and smiled at both a happy Luffy and a shaking Usopp. "Well then, I'll have to properly thank you both."
Luffy laughed and said "It's no big deal San-" but was cut off by a strong kick that sent both him and Usopp out on the deck.
Sitting back down, Sanji looked at the other crew members and said." Next time, choose people that know the meaning of gentle care. I don't like my clothes thrown around like cheap trash."
As the crew nodded, they waited a few more moments for the busted up captain and sniper to return. Sanji smile at them when they staggered in and then turned his attention to Chopper.
" Chopper, what are we going to learn for tomorrow?"
Zoro turned his head a little and looked towards Chopper expectantly. He may not say it but the class wasn't bad.
Chopper clapped his hooves and started speaking excitedly "Well, I was thinking of a half session where I could show Zoro some helpful Yoga positions and both of you the kinds of things you want your baby to eat. The other half is going to be finding out the sex of the other baby."
"Oh my god!" Nami shrieked before smiling deviously at the other crew members, mostly Franky. "Me and Robin bet ₤300 that it's a girl"
"Yo ho ho. What a high range but I think Franky and me have the winning gender?" Brook threw in.
"Yeah. Cause we're SUPPERR sure it's gonna be a boy." Franky said as he high fived Brook.
"Hey. What about us?" Luffy said.
Zoro watched the crew members talk about the babies for a moment before turning to the silent cook. Leaning in, he whispered "excited?"
Blinking out of his Stupor, Sanji turned to Zoro and pecked his lips. "I am, but it just feels so surreal."
Chuckling, Zoro said "Tell me about it. I felt the same way when I first went."
Sanji felt a sting of pain when he heard the other. At the time they weren't on good terms, so he had went by himself. Sanji was being so stubborn at the time that he couldn't even enjoy the very first time the babies were seen.
"Hey," Sanji looked at Zoro. "No need to look so hurt. It couldn't be helped. The situation caused for us to have some space and that's what we did. Besides, it'll be just like the first time."
"But you already know one gender." Sanji said, a little deflated.
"Yeah, but I heard that the genders could change." Zoro said as he took another bite of his food and a glance at the crew.
"I don't think it works that way moss head." Sanji whispered, also turning towards the crew.
Both Sanji and Zoro watched the crew bicker some more about different topics of the babies, while they threw comments at each other and laughed. Suddenly, Luffy banged his hands on the table and stood up. Everyone stared at him, confused for a moment until he spoke.
"Sanjjjjiiiii, Zorrrooo. You'll let me watch them when their born right." Luffy whined.
"Su-" Sanji began to say before Zoro stepped on his foot. Hard.
"We'll see when the babies come." Zoro said to Luffy and glared at Sanji when he went to protest.
"See. They didn't say no." Luffy said as he smirked at Nami.
"They didn't say yes either, idiot." Nami replied as she rolled her eyes. Turning her eyes away from Luffy, Nami smiled sweetly at Zoro and Sanji. "But to more important matters, when do we get to know the names of the babies?"
All eyes turned towards the male couple who looked surprised. They hadn't spoken about the names yet, wanting to know the genders of both first. Even if they had picked the names, they never discussed if they would keep the names a secret or not.
Looking over at Zoro, Sanji tried to come up with an answer. He had wanted Zoro's help, but the latter just shrugged and went back to eating. Sighing, Sanji said "We'll decide tomorrow. After we find out both genders."
"Oh, come on. Can't you at least tell us some names that you have picked out?" Nami whined as she leaned her head on the table. The group members nodded their heads, agreeing with the navigator.
"Do you at least have any thoughts for the names? Like how you guys chose?" Usopp asked.
"Err...Well, I want the names to match. You know? I want names that are for twins." Sanji said thoughtfully, taking in the nods of approval from his mates.
"I want the names to mean something and I want them to have a name that can have a decent nickname." Zoro said.
"Mean something like what?" Robin asked, curious.
Swallowing his food, Zoro said "Like a name that signifies who they are or who they could be. But definitely a name that makes them strive to be the best."
"That's...interesting." Chopper commented slowly.
"I like it." Robin said. "A name is something that you carry with you, even if you've lost everything and for it to have a strong meaning will make it a name to be remembered."
"I see. That does make sense." Brooke commented with a shake off his head.
" Yes, yes. It will make for a beautiful song as well."
"Your right, Franky-bro. We'll add that to the list." Franky added.
"What List?" Sanji and Zoro asked.
"The list of lullabies for your little ones bros." Franky said. "Chopper and the girls say that a lot of babies fall asleep faster when their listening to lullabies."
"Then you better have some really good ones." Zoro muttered.
"Oh, who cares about the music?" Nami exclaimed. She turned her attention back to the couple once again and asked with a twisted smile " Well if you won't tell us the names, cant I just come and watch Zoro do yoga?"
Everyone at the table busted into laughter. Zoro on the other hand was red in the face as he silently fumed. He looked down at his plate and stabbed at the little amount of food he had left. He was trying to be gentle enough as to not break the plate but once he heard Robin say " Id pay to see that." and another burst of laughter, he accidentally stabbed through the plate.
"Oh, come on, Zoro" Sanji whined when he saw the plate. "Why'd you have to do that?"
Seeing the glare Zoro had directed at him, Sanji said uneasily "Zoro, it was funny."
Leaning in threateningly, Zoro whispered "If anyone gets into that room during it, you'll be the one to pay and I'll be the one thinking it was 'funny'."
"R-right." Sanji said around the lump in his throat.
The next day, Zoro found himself sweating and more tired than he remembers. Sanji stood off to the side, ready to catch Zoro if he lost balance. Chopper had Zoro standing on his left foot while his right foot was bent making his legs form a 4. His hands were touched in a prayer posture in front of his chest and he was scowling. At the back of his mind, he actually thanked the fact that Sanji put a few mobile shelves in front of the door.
"Good Zoro, good. Now, I want you to try this stance." Chopper said as he leaned his upper body forward with his arms spread out and lifted his other leg in back of him, balancing all his weight on one leg.
"What-how? I can't do that." Zoro whined as he pictured the difficulty. He was already having a hard time catching his breath.
"I agree." Sanji said, worriedly. No matter what Chopper had asked Zoro to do, he had always opposed it. He kept picturing him falling in his head and each one ending with the babies injured.
Standing regular again, Chopper put his hooves on his hips. "Fine. Sanji, standby."
Sanji started to protest but thought otherwise and just moved so that he was in front of Zoro. He waited for Chopper's command and watched as Zoro did the pose. The first few seconds was good but then he began to wobble a little. Sanji watched as the sweat began building up on Zoro's forehead before he grabbed his arms bringing them to the front of his body.
Zoro was now standing with his arms straight in front of him so that he was holding Sanji's hands. It was less difficult that way so when he switched legs, they started off with his hands in front of him. All the while, Chopper stood close by, laughing. Thinking that Zoro's struggled enough, he called the end of the yoga portion.
"Okay, you can stop now." Chopper said.
Immediately, Zoro responded with a
" Finally."
"Oh, it wasn't that bad Zoro." Chopper commented as he went to get a cool rag. Seeing only one, he took it and turned to see that Sanji already had the other one. He smiled a little as he watched Sanji wipe Zoro's scowling face.
"Says you. You're not holding extra weight." Zoro mumbled as he tried pushing Sanji's hands away.
"Oi, moss head, be still." Sanji said as he skillfully avoided Zoro's hands.
"I can do it myself." Zoro whined as he tried to take the cloth from Sanji, who,
in return, put it behind his back.
"Done." Sanji smiled as he ignored Zoro. Turning to Chopper, he asked
"Can we go now? "
Looking up from his bag, Chopper replied "We still have to talk about the foods that are best for the babies."
"Right. I forgot that" Sanji muttered, embarrassed. Hearing chuckling from behind him, Sanji looked Towards Zoro who began walking towards the couches.
"Seems like someone's overexcited. "He commented as he pass.
Following behind him, Sanji said "Of course I am. This is the first time I get to see them. "
Snorting, Zoro whispered to Sanji "I know. It's all you kept saying in your sleep. "
"Shit." Sanji said as he sat down with Zoro. "I didn't wake you, did I?"
"Naw, the babies were excited last night too." Zoro said with a small smile.
Before Sanji could respond, Chopper threw a book in each of their laps.
" These are nutrition books." Chopper began. "I'm sure you're aware of the things in this book, Sanji, but you both should read through it together. As you can see, I've marked some pages. Now each blue note you see means that those are important things your baby should almost always have. The yellow notes mean that those are things they should have if they're sick but you'll only need it if I'm not around, otherwise you bring them to me and wait for my instructions."
Looking towards Sanji and Zoro, Chopper saw that they were both looking at the notes and sometimes writing something next to it. When they gave their attention back to Chopper, he continued. "Orange notes are things that are necessary but not an important day to day need. It's more like a once a week thing. Red notes are the best fruits to give them. Any questions? "
"Yea."
Chopper looked like up to see Sanji still writing and Zoro looking at him. "Yes Zoro?"
"What's these purple notes for?"
Blinking, Chopper looked back at the book. Seeing the purple note, Chopper remembered what it was for. "Oh right. I almost forgot. Purple notes are some recipes the baby can eat. You won't need them until they're a few months old because-"
"They can only hold milk in their system the first few months they are born." Zoro finished as he kept looking at the different recipes.
Chopper and Sanji both stared at Zoro for a moment before they spoke.
"You actually read?" Chopper asked surprised. Not saying he didn't trust Zoro but he wasn't a reader.
"Who else was going to do it?" Zoro asked looking up from his book.
"You read all those books? The ones in your room? Every single last one?" Sanji asked astounded.
"What? No. That's unrealistic. I didn't get to about 4 of those books yet." Zoro said. When he closed his book, he muttered "These books are actually interesting."
Clearing his throat, Chopper said "Well, we're done here." Beaming widely, he remained talking. "Are you ready to see the babies?"
Sanji watched as Zoro laid on Chopper's
bed. He stood awkwardly next to him, not sure of how to act.
"Get any tenser and you'll just become a statue." Zoro muttered as he grabbed the cream from Chopper. As he lifted his shirt to put the ointment on, Zoro stopped. Blushing lightly, he handed the ointment to Sanji and spoke.
"You can put it on if you want. It'll be the most useful you've been all day."
Blushing lightly himself, Sanji took the ointment and put someone his hand. Moving closer to Zoro's stomach, he began rubbing the ointment on. Hearing a content sigh from Zoro, Sanji chanced a small smile before backing away.
"Perfect." Chopper said as he moved the machine next the bed and took a weird shapes object and hovered it over Zoro's stomach before sliding it along the ointment.
Sanji listened for a moment and then he heard a heartbeat. The smile on his face grew as he looked at the screen. He was practically in his own world because in front of him was an image of his kids.
"We're Lucky today. "Sanji heard Chopper say as he smiled at the image. Chuckling Chopper said "Looks like Robin and Nami will be happy."
"It's a boy and a girl." Sanji whispered to himself. He couldn't believe it. Not only was he a father but he had a kid from both genders. He was so excited that he hadn't even notice Chopper himself from the room.
After a moment, Sanji turned towards Zoro and said" We're having twins."
Raising an eyebrow, Zoro said amused "I know."
"It's a boy and a girl." he said as he walked to Zoro's side.
"I know" Zoro said, chuckling. "You said that already."
Sanji nodded his head at Zoro. Zoro shook his head at Sanji amused by his behavior.
"Maybe we should think about the names now, Cook." Zoro insisted, which snapped Sanji back into reality.
"Right." Sanji dug in his pocket for a second and pulled out a paper. "Here."
Zoro took the paper from him and looked at it, sighing. "I can't believe you carry it around."

"Okay, I think we should take out the ones we really like and cross out the ones we don't." Zoro said as he peered at the paper.
"Okay." Sanji said as he leaned closer to Zoro so that he could see the paper. "I like this one with this one and these four. Oh, and this one kinda, too." Looking behind him, Sanji moved and picked up a pen from Chopper's desk. Going back to Zoro's side, Sanji took the paper from him.
"Well I like these ones." Zoro said as he pointed them out and Sanji went on crossing out all the names they hadn't picked .
Leaning back so Zoro could see, Sanji said "what now?"

Scrunching his eyes at the paper, Zoro leaned back and hummed in thought." You want matching names and I want meaningful ones that we can shorten later." Humming again, Zoro thought about the names some more.
"I got it." Sanji said, causing Zoro to turn to him. Locking eyes with him, Sanji said "Pick a name with your eyes closed. Then we can pick a name to go along with it."
Turning the paper around, Sanji rewrote the names they liked down and then looked up at Zoro with anticipation. Zoro, however, looked bored and merely said "You do it."
"But I-"
"It's your idea so you pick it. " Zoro said, making sure he made Sanji understand that his answer wouldn't change.
"Fine." Sanji sighed before looking back at the paper and closing his eyes. He let his finger travel along the paper for a moment before letting it rest on some writing. Looking down, He saw the name he chose.
"Kairi." Sanji whispered, looking at the other names on the paper. Settling on one, he added "I guess it can go with Kaemon."
"Or," Zoro started. Causing Sanji to look at him, " Daichi."
Looking back at the names, Sanji whispered " Kairi and Daichi."
"Ocean Village and Large Earth." Zoro mused. Smiling at Sanji he said "Not too bad. We can even nickname them Ai and Dai. I like it."
"Love and Large to Shine. Seriously?" Sanji said chuckling. "Considering they'll be around the crew, there's no doubt in my mind that my sweet angel will be loved while my soldier will shine."
"Could you be anymore disgusting?" Zoro said screwing up his face at Sanji's comment.
"So, Should we tell the crew?" Sanji asked thoughtfully.
" Naw, they can wait. Besides, I have more important things to talk to you about."
Zoro said as he turned serious.
Following his lead, Sanji looked at Zoro seriously. "What's wrong?"
Sighing, Zoro said:" I talked to Chopper about its little but we agreed that I had to talk to you before I made an actual decision."
Seeing the confusion in Sanji's eyes, Zoro said "I was thinking about doing the natural birth thing. But in water."
For a moment, Sanji thought about it but as soon as the images started to flood in his mind, he began to feel dizzy. He could faintly hear Zoro panicking before he called Chopper. He saw the edge of his vision beginning to darken and cursed himself when he realized that he was about to faint. Before he did though, he felt a something catch him, and had no doubt in his mind that Zoro caught him before he fell all the way back towards the ground.
