Kisa is a little feisty in this chapter, but I hope I explain why in a decent way. Thank you all for your reviews! They really keep me going! And also, sorry it's a little shorter than normal. I will make up for it!

I almost dropped Akira when I saw the sight before me. Tears streamed down my cheeks and I took a deep breath. I quickly wiped the tears away and put on a strong face. I saw him push her away and felt a little calmness enter my soul.

"Hey Kurama," I said.

He jumped and pulled away from the brunette slut named Ikari.

"K-Kisa! It's not-"

"I saw Kurama, I understand," I said cooly, throwing a quick glare at Ikari, who just smirked.

"Ikari, please stay here, I need to speak to Kisa," he said.

Even he had a frosty tone to his voice. I followed him inside and he turned towards me.

"I'm beginning to think you were right Kisa," he mumbled.

"That she's here specifically for you?" I asked.

He nodded.

"I think it would be best for you to-"

"I'm not leaving you here with that slut," I spat.

He sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose.

"If she is truly what you day she is, it's not safe for you here," he said, "I alone may be powerful but I cannot attack as well as guard you two."

"Then get Hiei's ass back here," I demanded.

"It's not that easy, Mukuro is-"

"Mukuro, Mukuro, you don't see her going to bare his child do you? You'd think he'd be a bit more insistent on staying here if he wants me to have his child so badly," I said angrily.

"Mukuro is dying," he snapped.

Anger left me and regret filled me wholly.

"What?"

"She has been infected with a poison that is impossible to expell in hopes of another regaining her throne," he explained.

The blood drained from my face. Sure I was jealous of the woman but I didn't want her dead! She had helped me once.

"Kurama, I didn't know," I whispered.

He nodded.

"It's best to know the whole situation before you speak such harsh words," he said.

Akira pulled at my hair and I adjusted her slightly.

"That doesn't change this situation, we need back up," I murmured.

"I know, I've been debating the best course of action," he mumbled, biting his thumb.

"Kill her," I responded simply.

He looked at me in surprise.

"I may be going a bit extreme but if she is truly what I was warned of, I will kill her before she takes my child," I explained.

"I feel the same but until we have proof, there is no rationality behind killing someone."

"Sometimes I wish Yoko was here," I sighed, "He'd agree with me."

I noticed him narrow his eyes slightly.

"Maybe you are becoming a bit too much like a demon," he said.

I shrugged.

"I will go to any lengths to protect those I love."

"Be that as it may, you will not touch her until we are sure," he commanded.

I let out a low sigh but nodded.

"Yes Kurama, I will respect your wishes," I said, turning away.

I walked out just to see Ikari inspecting her nails.

"Trouble in paradise?" she asked.

"No such luck sweetie," I replied.

"Doesn't sound that way," she said, "Looks like Kurama is siding with me."

"Just because he doesn't want you dead doesn't mean he is siding with you," I retorted.

"Want to test your theory? Let's fight, see who he protects first," she said, looking up with big brown eyes.

I felt a flare of envy but swallowed it as I replied, "He'd protect you because he knows I would whoop your ass."

She snorted but went silent as Kurama came out.

"I'm going out again Kurama, please be careful."

"Where are you going?" he asked.

I just gave him a small smile.

"Just trust me."

As I walked down the corridor, following the blue haired girl I knew to be Botan, I couldn't help but awe at the size of the place.

"Mommy," Akira whined.

I gave her a questioning look and followed her finger to the ogre standing in front of large doors.

"It's okay, he's nice," I said, smiling, "He's helping those that will help mommy."

She hesitated visibly until we got closer.

"Ogre, I must speak to Koenma," Botan said.

"What about?"

"There seems to be an intruder on Genkai's property that might be linked to- Oh nevermind, just let me in!"

He startled but opened the doors. As we walked in, I was surprised to see a tall, handsome young man at the desk.

"Ah, Kisa Akemi" he said around a binky.

Yusuke said he was a toddler. Sure the binky was odd but this man was no toddler.

"Hi, Koenma? I asked.

He nodded and walked forward.

"Nice to finally meet the succubus hidden away from the world," he said.

I smiled.

"Nice to finally meet the ruler of the spirit world."

"Well, that's actually my father," he said, rubbing the back of his neck.

I waved that off.

"Close enough, now, I was told by Yusuke you could help me," I said.

He nodded.

"Tell me of the situation."

I explained Ikari's sudden appearance after my dream and he walked over to a computer, turning on a projector. As he searched her name, it came up with a bunch of demons and humans but none looked really like her. There were dozens to look through though.

"She's from the Aslur clan," I added.

He nearly dropped his binky as he looked up at me.

"The elemental demons?"

I nodded.

"We may be in deeper trouble than first thought," he mumbled.

"Why is that?" Botan asked.

"Elemental demons are just as their name suggests," Koenma explained, "They each control a certain element, if they were to control the element of lust as well, no one would be safe."

"So it's really important we stay away from her correct?" I asked.

"Not just her, anyone in the clan could have the power," he said, "If the Silver Ring Society really gave them the power, all demons with substantial power are in trouble."

I bit my lip in thought of Kurama.

"Kurama even?"

He nodded solemnly.

"His mastery of plants is a force to be reckoned with," Koenma said.

"Right now apparently Akira and I are the main focus," I added.

"For now we will focus on protecting you, but we will also get eyes out in the demon world."

"Thank you Koenma," I sighed, "It's nice to have someone doing something for once."

He gave me a thousand-watt smile and said, "My pleasure."

Great, I have the power to even get the prince of spirit world hitting on me. I smiled back and looked at Botan.

"Does Hiei have a communicator?"

She nodded.

"Can I talk to him?" I asked, a frown forming on my face.
