Akari-Miniwara: Hey thanks for the review. I already did Brambleberry just so you know, the title for it is called "Frozen". And as for Slaughter, thank you so much! I'm glad some people liked it. I'm thinking about making "Requiem" a full length story. What do you think?
xxSnowfirexx: Glad you liked it! Though I already did all five of the leaders, Shadowstar's was titled "Lonesome". Hope you like this one!

Dark light flooded below the horizon, as the temperature dropped near freezing. Frostfur shivered, huddling closer to Shadepelt and Mudfur, trying to warm both herself, and the dieing Medicine Cat.
It had been awhile since the clans left to go on the journey to their new home, and Frostfur knew she had made the right decision. But she would miss her kits, at least all of them were strong enough to make the journey, and if anything happened Cinderpelt would take care of them.
Suddenly aware of the lack of weezing coming from the brown Medicine Cat, Frostfur pressed her ear against his chest. Nothing.
"Speckletail wake up" she hissed to her clan mate, who was huddled among the reeds.
The pale tabby rose her head sleepily, and looked around. "What is it? Are the twoleg's here?" she asked worriedly.
"No" Frostfur calmed her quickly, "But Mudfur's joined StarClan. We should bury his body in the morning." The she-cat nodded solemnly, although they knew it would happen rather soon, it was still hard to accept.
"Do you want some of the fish Mistyfoot caught for us?" Speckletail offered, "I'm sure there's still plenty for the others tomorrow. And we're still young enough to hunt."
Frostfur smiled, but held her paw up. "No thanks, my belly's hurting. I think that vole I ate earlier didn't go down so well" she had already gone to RiverClan's dirt-place throughout the night.
"Cinderpelt and Leafpaw left some herbs, let me find you some for bellyache". The pale tabby sat up from her comfortable spot in the reeds, and ruffled around a pile of herbs.
"Here's some comfrey" she offered, nuzzling the leaves closer to Frostfur.
"Thanks" she meowed, gulping down the herbs quickly, the faster she consumed them, the faster she might get some sleep.
"I wonder if StarClan will even accept us after we die" Speckletail meowed quietly, looking up at the starlit sky.
Looking up into the stars, Frostfur hoped her fellow clan mate was right. "But if StarClan's following the clans to their new home, then how will we join them? We have no idea how far their traveling, let alone where they'll end up."
This had been worrying Frostfur more than dieing. She could accept dieing back here, but she imagined being in StarClan, looking down her kits as they lived in their new home.
And even more watching Whitepaw grow up, she was Frostfur's first grandchild.
"We have no other choice but to wait and see" Speckletail sighed, laying down into the reeds. "The twoleg's are going to come soon enough, and the closer Leaf-Bare approached, the less prey there will be."
And that was the truth, luckily Mistyfoot and Leopardstar had shown Frostfur the best places to hunt for fish, and even shown her some techniques. Frostfur didn't exactly have a death wish, she wanted to live as long as possible, well at least before something happened.
"I'm not scared of death" the pale tabby queen mentioned, "At least then I'll be able to see Lionheart and Snowkit, not to mention Smallear. I miss them so much."
It must have been hard for the queen to lose most of her family. And her only daughter Goldenflower had chosen Tigerstar as her mate, the nemesis of the clans. When Frostfur was only a kit, she and Tigerkit were play mates.
He was a nice enough kit, but always took the games to far with her and Whitekit.
"And I'll be able to see Brindleface and Robinwing" she meowed to herself, losing her sister and mother had taken a tole on the elder queen. Now that Frostfur thought about it, she wasn't really worried about joining StarClan.
And even as she lay as still as a rock under the stars, Frostfur knew her descendents would find a great home. One where her Grandkits, and their Grandkits would live for many moons on.
