Megatron felt it again, the over bearing pain of the spark shattering into little flares. Leaving nothing but an empty spark chamber in it's place. There stood his one chance at having Knockena as his mate, he had everything planned out on how to get her to say yes. If there was one thing that Knockena loved more than her finish were her brothers, and that love came to be her weakest point. Motherly love and protection of her younger brothers is something she inherited from her mother. Even though Ranka was a Decepticon, she always had a soft spot for her family. Megatron remembered that Ranka had a sister who was too young to be in the war, but Ranka was always trying to protect her and give her a happy life. But even if he asked her then, Ranka wouldn't accept his love. Then Knockena came along and his hope for a mate was restored. Not only that, he would make Ranka pay from beyond the grave.
But now that he sees Knockena in the arms of Breakdown, looking at the sky in a loving fashion so strong that it made Megatron sick just watching them.
It was like Ranka and Leveler all over again; he fell in love with the femme and she chose another mech as her mate. It was like two earth male creatures fighting over the female and the winner would get the girl. Only, Megatron lost both fights against an arrogant soldier and a brute.
Fighting back the desirable urge to attack and kill both of them, Megatron turned and headed down to the lowest level on his ship.
For a time after she made her choice, Megatron believed that she would come back to him, but she never did. She ran away, she married Leveler and stayed with him. Megatron tried to live his life without her, making his processor and spark believe that she was killed on the battlefield. But the truth was always there, hiding in the dark and preying on his spark at his most vulnerable moments. Then he was left in the dark about what went down between Leveler and Ranka during her absence. After her death, he believed that everything would turn out better now that the pain was gone. When he left, he relinquished his successes and his biggest one, so far, was terminating Ranka himself. When he returned, he had hoped to continue leading the Decepticons to victory. Now the pain has returned when he learned that his only medic, plus his sister and brother, are her sparklings. Not just her's, but their's, Ranka and Leveler. Not Megatron and Ranka.
"What would happen if she and I were caretakers? Would Knockout still be Knockout?" Megatron thought to himself as he walked further into the darkened hallway and down a flight of stairs. He felt like a fool however, he should have seen it. True Knockout resembled very little of either one of them, but the optics should have been a dead give away. But he didn't even bother looking, Knockout just looked the other way like he was another bot wanting to be a Decepticon.
"Well even though being a Decepticon is choice," Megatron said to himself, coming down to the bottom of the stairs." I wouldn't put it passed Knockout to become a Decepticon to please his deceased carrier."
Remembering Ranka, remembering the pain and grieve he felt when she chose Leveler instead of him. The thoughts of what could have happened, or what should have happened, the things they would do together, how happy he would have been with her. But all of those thoughts went up in flames and disappeared into the wind like leaves in the autumn breeze. The pain had to go away, the pain had to end. There was only one way to do it; end both of them and it had to be by his servo. It took him a few cycles, but he finally tracked them to Tyger Pax refugee camp. After that, he managed to follow them, but could never kill them. Leveler and Ranka knew they were being followed. Whenever one of them saw him, Leveler would battle and Ranka would run with the, unknown at the time, sparklings.
"Looks like the daughter will have to pay for her sins." Megatron whispered to himself as he came up to a door.
The very bottom of the ship was like the human Government only enterance, no other bot was allowed down there only Megatron. That is because this was where Megatron's darkest secrets were kept. Not even Starscream or Soundwave knew who or what was down here. Right before he opened the door, he remembered Ranka's termination. He reveled in the memory of that day. Smiling as he remembered how her screams echoed through the night, the horror in her optics when she knew her time had come, her body dropping dead to the ground. To any other bot, the feeling and the joy he got out of it would seem sick, but this was Megatron. The sickest thoughts always brought him the best joys.
What choice did I have? Megatron thought to himself as he walked in. After all, she broke his 'heart', she wasn't his to love. If she couldn't be his to love, then no bot could have her as their love. He overheard the rumor that she had sparklings, Megatron never believed them. Now that he sees it's true, it was pretty hard to swallow. But he never would have thought that Knockout was one of her sparklings. His medic was the sparkling of his most hated foes. But how could he not have seen it? The optics were a dead give away. The bright red optics that were Ranka's.
"It is quite a shame, on her part." Megatron whispered, wondering to the switch and pulled it down. White lights came on in the center of the room, revealing a beaten and half starved prisoner. " I was hoping to spare her life."
The dangling prisoner groaned in response, knowing that groaning was all he could do. Megatron stood in front of her for a moment, marveling at the sight of this special prisoner as energon dripped from his wounds, some places were developing mold, he was missing a few minor, non life threatening parts. In a nutshell, the prisoner was in pretty bad shape.
"But it would seem, that the pretty thing followed down the same path as her mother." Megatron stated more casually than he meant. "Now it would stand to reason, I have no choice but to make sure she meets the same fate as her mother. After all, if I cannot have her either, than no other bot can."
The prisoner groaned again, lifting his head up, revealing his Decepticon sigil . His red optics were still as stern as ever, he was still as spirited and stubborn as ever. Something that has grown to be a very big nuisance to Megatron.
"You've already stolen everything from me." He snarled, coughing out energon. "What else could you steal from me?"
"Did you not hear me? You're dear daughter is online, Leveler." Megatron said each word slowly, watching Leveler's reaction after hearing his daughter is online. Leveler kept his faceplate still, but his optics showed shock. Did he think his sparklings were destroyed along with his mate?
"Do not fill my audio receptors with your filthy lies." Leveler stated, staring at Megatron. " My sparklings went offline a long time ago, when you killed my mate."
"You are as much of a fool as you are stubborn." Megatron stated. "Perhaps, I will bring her to you so you will see for yourself."
