"Is that true Tamaki?" My mother asked, in her smooth calming tone. I nodded.

"Yes, yes it is mother. I intend to be there for my child until life no longer allows me to, but even then I will still be there. I intend to raise this child as Haruhi and I's child and we intend to try and be the best parents possible." I said, looking at my parents with sincerity. My parents both smiled and nodded.

"Well, in that case, congratulations to you two. We're excited to be grandparents, as I'm sure Ranka is as well. Oh, Haruhi, if you would ever like, you're alway welcome to come and live here with Tamaki and us, also let your father know that, you could live here as family, so your father would no longer have to worry about paying rent." Haruhi smiled and bowed.

"Thank you very much sir. I will be sure to mention it to him after graduation seeing as it's barely two weeks away." My father smiled and nodded.

"Very good. Welcome to the family Haruhi." I released a long held breath, happy that my father, mother, and Ranka and accepted the situation at hand, it made so happy to know that we had a huge chance of making this work now, not that we didn't have a huge chance in the first place. I smiled and kissed Haruhi quickly and lovingly as we headed towards the dining hall.

Tamaki's POV

With there being only two more weeks until graduation we considered ourselves lucky that this pregnancy did happen until now. To me honest, it brought out a more mature version of me, and honestly I liked it. It gave me a little more confidence that I was going to be a suitable father. I would pray for that everyday. My mind had gone to many different thoughts while we waited in the OB GYN waiting room. Kyoya had been kind enough to help us out by setting up an appointment for us.

As we sat here in the office, I looked around at the maternity posters. Some showing common changes in the woman's body during pregnancy and I was honestly fascinated. All the changes that Haruhi's body would take shocked me, but not in a bad way. I leaned back, moving my arm around Haruhi's shoulders. Good thing that the public didn't know exactly who I was yet. "Haruhi Fujioka?" A nurse called. We nodded and got up as the women led us to the back room where Haruhi was asked to sit on this observation bed while I sat in the seat next to it.

While the nurse was in the room she checked her blood pressure and her heart rate, normal things. After she finished she left only for the doctor to come in seconds later. "Hello Ms. Fujioka. I'm Dr. Izumi. I'm your OB GYN. Mr. Kyoya Ootori has filled me in on your situation. So, you're pregnant Ms. Fujioka. Hmm... when was the last time you had your menstrual cycle?" Haruhi rolled her eyes up in a way that showed she was trying to think.

"Umm... I know that it was last month... I believe it was the third of last month, but I could be wrong." The doctor nodded.

"That's ok... Um, how late were you on your menstrual cycle before you found out you were pregnant?"

"Umm. I believe the fifth." The doctor nodded.

"Thank you... I'm going to use those dates to estimate when you might be due. Umm... From this information your due date is estimated to be around October 10th. Now... what symptoms have you been experiencing?"

"Well... I've has nausea, dizziness, a very slight fever, vomiting, fatigue..." Haruhi said, explaining everything to the doctor while I sat here, just playing my part of being where I'm needed at the moment. I smiled and nodded and commented when it was okay to. It made me happy that I was here for this, that Haruhi wanted me here. I began to imagine Haruhi and our baby, I knew our baby would be so adorable! Like would become the world's cutest baby. I chuckled to myself before I would get too lost in my thoughts.

"Ok, Haruhi... could you lean back on the ultrasound bed so we can see the baby?" Excitedly she nodded and leaned back, pulling her shirt up to under her breasts. The doctor began moving around the room to grab a bottle of blue gel. When the doctor turned over the bottle and put the gel on Haruhi's stomach she shivered. I almost jumped up to ask what was wrong but she said "That gels is so cold." It eased the worry in me. She picked put the bottle of gel back down and grabbed a sensor to spread the gel around. It wasn't long until we noticed a white area with a dark mass inside. As the doctor was writing down things on Haruhi's medical chart. "Well, so you see that white circle with the dark mass? Well.. that's your baby." The doctor said with a smile. My eyes widened and I lightly and lovingly tightened my grip on Haruhi's hand. That was our, our, baby? I couldn't help the smile that was on my face.

The doctor began cleaning up the gel from Haruhi's stomach once she got everything she needed for the medical chart. It wasn't long before she has the photos of the baby printed out and we were out, scheduling the next appointment. Seeing as Kyoya's family hospital wasn't even a couple blocks away from the front gate of my home, we decided to walk there, having our hands intertwined. The warmth of her hand was so nice and beautiful, I felt like I was being embraced by her warmth as well as holding it in my very hand. I relished in the feeling of her hand in mine, I could see us walking home, a little boy or girl on my shoulders as we held hands.

Unfortunately, we got home quicker than expected... Well, now it was time to show the family the ultrasound photos. I sighed, letting go of a deep breath before walking into the gate and soon the door. "OH HARUHI!" Ranka cheered, pulling her into a hug and moving her towards the living room. "So... how'd it go?" He asked, using his "happy woman" voice.

"It went great. They estimate that I will be due around October 10th and they printed off a few ultrasound photos." Ranka's eyes widened happily at Haruhi and then he looked at me.

"I may be happy now you brat, but I'm still not happy with you... well, I guess I'll let to get used to you..." Ranka growled at me and my father began laughing.

"Wow, Ranka you're hilarious. I think we'll get along just fine." He said, laughing, holding his stomach. I scowled at my father while I felt Haruhi lean over. I looked towards her to notice her pick up a pillow, place it in my lap and lay down, placing her head on top of the pillow, facing towards my stomach. I blushed bright pink before I brought my hand to her upper back, rubbing it very lightly. The room by this point had gone silent so I looked up to see everyone looking awed by the situation. Ranka glared again and puckered his lips in frustration.

"Well idiot... maybe I can learn to like you." I smiled slightly, breathing out happily when I felt Haruhi's breath change to the breath of how she sleeps. In Haruhi's hands I noticed the envelope with the photos of the baby and very gently grabbed it, handing it to Ranka. When he looked at me, I smiled and gestured for him to open it. Ranka just simply nodded and slowly opened the envelope only to gasp once he opened it. He know what it was obviously because we had the envelope with us, but it didn't cease to surprise him. "Oh... I can't wait... this makes it even more real." Ranka said, noticing that there was three photos and handed the two to my father and mother.

"Oh my god... you're right Ranka." My father mused. "Man... I remember how I felt when Anne-Sophie found out she was pregnant with Tamaki." He said, a smile. "You know... when I found out your mother was pregnant with you, I fainted. I literally fainted right in front of her. It's funny now when I look back on it. How did you feel at first Tamaki?" My father asked sincerely. I closed my eyes, trying to sort every thought I had out.

"Well... at first, I wasn't sure what to think. I was shocked at first... that it could be a possibility. I was thinking that I..." I paused looking down at Haruhi. "I was upset with myself because I felt that I was ruining her life, her dreams, everything..." I paused again. I took a deep breath before continuing. "But soon I was reassured by Mitsukuni that it wasn't all my fault. That because Haruhi had also participated both of us were liable. But I knew that no matter what I had to be there for him or her. I knew that I needed to be strong and support Haruhi all along the way and that I couldn't ever lose that strength or else I could become the immature father that I knew I didn't want to be." I took another breath before looking back up to see shock on my parents and Ranka's faces. My father sat there, his expression almost unsure.

"T... Tamaki, That was very mature. I'm proud of you." I wasn't sure of what to say so I just sat there, a happy warmth coursing throughout my body. He's... proud of me? I smiled. That I was happy about.

"Thank you father." He nodded, smiling. "Um... prom is this coming weekend, I want to ask Haruhi, but I'm not sure if she'll say yes though." Ranka tapped my shoulder.

"Trust me, she'll say yes. Just ask. The worst she could say is that she will feel too sick the night of, but that's probably not going to happen knowing she'll want to make you happy." I looked at him, nodding. It wasn't long after that that Haruhi began to stir from her very short nap and looked up at me. She smiled at me before snuggling closer to my stomach. I laughed.

"You in a good mood Haruhi?" I asked chuckling and she nodded, "So, Haruhi... I was thinking, prom is this coming weekend, would you like to go with me?" Her eyes were wide and she smiled, nodding. "Oh I'm glad."

"But... I don't have nice dresses like those rich girls can afford... I would feel like I'm embarrassing you." I shook my head and caressed her cheek with my hand.

"No, you could never embarrass me." My mother spoke then.

"You know Haruhi, if your that worried about it you and I could go look at some dresses together... that's if you would like. Would be nice to have some bonding time."

"Oh, that would be nice, that why I could surprise Tamaki... I have some money saved up so I'm sure I could find something acceptable."

Haruhi's POV

Now Tamaki's mother and I were on our way to the dress outlet here where we were on a mission to find a nice dress. To be honest I felt a little nervous to be with Tamaki's mom by myself because I didn't know her too well, but I mean... there's nothing I can do to help that besides talking with her to get to know her better. "So... what's france like? Is it nice there?" The blond beauty looked at me and smiled.

"Well, it can be, but it's hard. Things there are pretty expensive there as well, so it can become hard sometimes to take care of you, but it can be romantic when you're on a night out with someone you love."

"Well, that sounds really nice, except for the expensive part." Her laugh was almost princess like with it's quiet volume and gentle tone. I couldn't help but laugh along. "So... I'm not exactly sure what Tamaki's favorite color is... would you know by any chance?" She shook her head. "Hmm... maybe something that's simple but princess like... seeing as he always calls me his princess." I said as we walked inside. The woman at the front of the outlet waved and smiled, asking us what kind of dress were looking for based on style and price. As I explained to her that I wanted it to be simple yet elegant and not too expensive the woman, Misato was her name, led us back to a rack with many nice dresses.

A lot of the dresses I tried on were either too short, too tight, not the right color, or the right style that I was looking for. I was about to give up on this place until I found this one dress, buried way in the back of the rack. It was like fate. I walked over, followed by Tamaki's mom, pulling it off of the rack. "What do you think? I think it looked just perfect!" I said, actually excited. It was a formal gown that was a strapless atlantic organza made with satin. It had a sweetheart neckline and was A-Line and had warm gold beading on the bust of the dress and a gold tiable bow just under my breasts that wrapped around my whole body. The dress had a lace up system in the back. It was so pretty. "Do you mind if I try this on?" I asked. Tamaki's mom smiled, shaking her head and gesturing towards the fitting room. I nodded and walked in, undressing from my clothes. Once I was out of my shirt and jeans I looked at my body, turning to the side to look at my stomach, there wasn't a baby bump yet, but there would be in the next month or two... I smiled and shook my head to rid of the thoughts. I needed to get this dress on. I slipped the dress on with ease and tied the gold bow to fit my body. I didn't want to face the mirror until it was on me right.

Once I knew it was on and set up correctly I turned around and smiled widely. It was perfect! This was exactly what I was looking for. With care I removed it from my body and put it on the hanger after looking at the price tag. 6549 yen! ($63 US) It was on sale so I was able to buy it with roughly 1247 yen left! ($12 US) I was happier than I had been in a while. I was going to the prom with one of the most perfect men in the entire world, I was going to be the mother of his baby in roughly nine months; lucky after I graduate is when the baby will be born. I don't think I could be happier. I walked to the counter to pay for the dress when Tamaki's mother put a pair of shoes on the counter and refused to let me pay for the shoes. I was shocked, but just smiled. "Thank you, you didn't have to do that.

"It's no problem darling. We're going to all be family at some point, so it's ok." I blushed.

"Um... do you mind if we drop this stuff off at my apartment." We got a ride in one of the limos there and were on our way back. When we returned we found that the guys were not here, but left a note saying they all had gone out for male bonding time. Oh Tamaki, I hope dad isn't torturing you.

Prom! ~ Tamaki's POV

Today, finally, was the night of prom and luckily Haruhi was feeling well enough to accompany me on this night of all nights. The hosts were all already there while I was in the care on my way to get Haruhi. We were a little late from me wanting to be sure that I looked the best that I could. I was in a jet black tux with a red tie and a white rose pin on my jacket. I had Haruhi's corsage made with a white rose, lace, and some small amount of honeysuckle. I held the box in my lap as we headed towards her apartment and once we were there, I ran up the stairs with caution.

I didn't waste time in knocking on the door where Ranka had been waiting to open the door. "Hello dearest Ranka, is Haruhi ready sir?" Ranka nodded with a smile and moved out of the way for me to see Haruhi, my jaw dropping to the floor. She looked just like a princess of goddess... so gorgeous and so elegant that I felt like the luckiest man alive that she was mine. Haruhi was walking towards me. "Good Evening my princess. Tonight I promise to show you a good time at prom. Please take this gift." I said, holding the corsage box in my hand, opening it and removing the corsage to put it on her wrist. Her lips were warm lite liquid cinnamon and her cheeks a peachy pink. As she stood before me, I noticed she was wearing the necklace I had bought her and I was doubling over in happiness. "Thank you for allowing me to take Haruhi with me Ranka. I promise to have her back tomorrow around noon as instructed." I looked at Haruhi. "Are you ready to go?" Haruhi nodded and left, leaving a kiss on her father's cheek. You see, since Haruhi was already pregnant and knew I was serious about her and our relationship together, Ranka didn't mind Haruhi staying the night anymore. He told me it made more sense in a way.

It wasn't long before we arrived and we arrived just in time to catch the attention of everyone, when I say everyone, I mean everyone. But Haruhi and I just walked in, first stopping to have our pictures taken together, "BOSS!" The twins yelled towards us from a table in the far corner. Haruhi and I made haste to get over there and were lucky to make it quickly enough before being seeing by too many more of the host club guests. "Haruhi, look at you, so gorgeous."

"Yea! You look so cute Haru-chan!"

"Yeah" Mori said, giving Haruhi a thumbs up. Many songs played while we ate the meal provided by the prom committee, many were love songs, but it was just now, as we finished, that I heard a song playing, it was one of Haruhi and I's favorites. It was "My Sweetest Love" by Tokiya Ichinose. He was a true musician.

"Would you allow me this dance princess?" I asked, bowing to her, extending a hand to her, and I felt her place her hand in mine. As we walked towards an open spot on the floor she said, "Let me warn you, I'm not a very good dancer." I chuckled. "That's ok, remember that waltz you did? Let's start of with that, we can go from there." That's when we began dancing, our waltz turning into a romantic dance of love that flowed beautifully with the song.

Ah… reaching out to only you,
The sound of this wind… Feeling heart…
Don't cry anymore, you're fine as you are!
Look at the sky! Ah… My sweetest love!
Blue… The sparkling blue drops trailing down a cheek
Rise… Did you know? About the light to tomorrow
Truth… You probably still don't know yourself well, huh?
Those tears will surely become your guiding rainbow!
If your long trail goes cold,
Ah… I'll warm it with a song!
All of your prayers may not become stars,
But if you believe in your dreams,
They will be thousands of "jewels that shine brightest in the night sky"
Think… Do you remember? The sunset on the way home
Yes… We rejoiced! The map of the future spreads wide!
Dream… Since when?My chest has been tightening
Shining on my heart, the charm of the adults' tales
Even the things you can't do on your own,
Ah… I want to surpass them with you!
If it would become your smile, I would tell lies even to God!
So I'd like to call this "love"
I want to come with you! To this "nameless story," fly to the sky!
Don't cry anymore, you're fine as you are!
I want you to let me protect you!
If there's a dream we both believe in,
Far more incredibly beautiful than the sunlight on that day,
Let it descend in seven colors…on the world

"Thank you my lady." I said, whispering into her ear. "This has been the best night ever, my princess. Thank you."
