U is for Underrated.
If there was one thing he hated, it was being underestimated. To do so, in his opinion, was the biggest mistake a fighter could make towards one another. They had all made that mistake when fighting Sensui, and it almost got them all killed.
That did not stop his calm and yet rather cocky nature in battle. He never underestimated his opponents, but he never overestimated them, either. He treated each of his enemies, male or female, young or old, the same way.
But to underestimate him, was a huge mistake. His speed and endurance in battle proved that, as well as his fearsome fire based attacks.
But the most fearsome of all was the Dragon of the Darkness Flame. A technique so powerful and so dangerous, those who attempted to master it failed miserably.
She remembered the first time he had used it. It was during the first round at the Dark Tournament, his opponent being Zeru of Team Rokuyoukai. Zeru had shot rather impressive (to her and the rest of the audience, anyway. Hiei just found it boring) blasts of fire at Hiei, but the fire demon dodged each one perfectly. When he was shot down by flames, she honestly could have said that she was afraid that he had been killed.
But then, then he got up, and launched that horrible attack. There were flashes of light, the ground began to shake, and a large than life black dragon appeared, and hit Zeru head on, incinerating him instantly. When all was said and done, all that was left was the burnt outline of Zeru.
Yes, Hiei was one opponent that you did not want to underrate.
