Chapter 20: One Death & Two New Births

Nico's POV

Teresa pulled back the covers and there was a lot of blood. Percy and Annabeth came in.

"What's wrong?"

But they saw what was wrong.

"What do we do?"

Percy said freaking out. I was freaking out as while.

"We have to take her to my father!"

I said.

"Percy help me get her up."

He came over and she passed out. We got her up and Annabeth held on to my shoulder as we walked threw the shadows.

We come out in the chamber were they were sitting at.

"What is going on?"

Hades said to us.

"Teresa is pregnant and then blood came out from while down there and she passed out."

I said fast. His black eyes looked at her and then at me.

"Follow me."

He said and he told one of the guards to go get Thanatos. We followed him to a room off the chambers.

He told us to put her on the bed. Percy and I did that.

And Thanatos came in and looked at her.

"I need every one to leave the room now."

He said and every one left. I didn't want to but father had to pull me with him.

We sat in the other chamber waiting. Father asked us to tell him what happened so we did.

After we were done he didn't say anything.

"Do you think the baby is yours?"

He asked me I rubbed the back of my neck. It felt weird talking to you father about this kind of think.

"I do believe that child is mine."

I told him. He looked at me and my step mother was looking at me as while.

But I couldn't tell what she was thinking.

"What if the child isn't yours then what will you do?"

She asked me.

"Teresa said if the child isn't mine. She would like the camp to take the baby. But I know that child is mine."

I said once more. Deep down I knew that child was mine.

She smiled at me and that was a first.

"What is happing to her father?"

I asked after a while. He looked at me.

"I really don't know my child. She is in the middle of her change and she is with child so I don't know what is wrong."

He said and he had worry in his voice. Soon we stopped talking and I started to pace.

Thanatos didn't come out and that is never good. Percy was holding Annabeth who looked like she wanted to cry.

But she was holding it in. I was feeling sad, rage and other things all at once.

I wanted to be in there with her. My hand slipped into my pocked were I had the ring I made for her.

"What do you have in your pocket?"

My father said to me. I looked over at him.

"When Teresa makes it. I tell you what's in my pocket."

I said. He didn't say anything back to me.

Then I felt a death and I fell to my knees. Father came over to me and put a hand on my shoulder.

"Whats wrong?"

Percy said.

"I'm so sorry son."

He said and Annabeth started to cry. Thanatos came out with something. He walked over to me and knelt down.

"Would you like to meet your son."

Thanatos said as he handed me my son. I held him.

He opened his eyes and they were sea green like his mothers. Tears ran down my face.

My child pulled out his little hand and waved it at me. I smiled down at him.

He giggle up at me.

"He looks just like you did when you were born. But he has his mothers eyes."

Father said to me. I looked at him.

"Really?"

I asked him and he nodded his head. Percy and Annabeth came over. "He's so cute. What are you going to name him?"

Annabeth said in a husky voice from crying. I looked up at her.

"I really don't know right now. I think of something in a few days."

I said as I got up. Thanatos walked back into the room and I couldn't be sure or not.

But I think he had a smile on his face. Father followed him and closed the door.

Persephone was being very kind to me.

"Your son is very cute. But he is going to be a god when he come of age." I looked at her.

"How do you know ma'ma?"

I asked her.

"He has a dark glow about him."

She said to me with a smile. I smiled back at her.

"Thank you Persephone."

I said to her. We washed off the blood from him and Persephone gave me some baby clothes to put on him.

She put her hand on my shoulder and then gave me a hug.

"I'm sorry about your loss."

She said as she pulled away. Annabeth had my son and I let a few tears run for Teresa.

Its been a few days and father let us stay here till I could leave. But they wouldn't let me see Teresa's body.

I didn't understand why they wouldn't let me see her. They keep saying its not time yet.

What were they doing to her that I couldn't see her. The mother of my child.

Percy was with me and Annabeth was watching over my son. Percy didn't look so good.

I knew why I was grieving. But I forgot that Teresa is Percy's sister. "Have you told your father yet?"

I asked him. He looked at me.

"No not yet. I don't know how I should tell him."

Percy said to me. I put my hand on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry."

I said to him and he looked at me.

"I'm sorry too."

He said to me and I nodded. Then Thanatos came in to the room.

"Sorry to bother you Nico but I need you to come with me."

I looked at Percy and he nodded. So I followed him out of the room to the room that they moved Teresa's body.

He walked in and I followed him. He turned to me and looked me in the eyes.

"She change is finished now you have to give her a reason to come back." Then he left me alone with her.

Does this mean she is alive?

I thought to my self. I walked over to her and she was dressed in a black sexy dress.

I sat next to her body and put my head next to her ear.

"Teresa you need to come back to me. You cant leave me all alone in this world with our son. And with out you he would never know his mother. Beside I cant live with our you Teresa. So please come back to us. I love you so much."

I said as tears ran down my face. I pulled away as they fell on her face. Then her eyes opened but her sea green eyes was fiery red. She sat up and looked at me.

Then her eyes turned back to sea green. Her hand touched my face and it was a little colder then before.

"What happened to me?"

Teresa asked me. I smiled at her and told her what happened after she blacked out.

When she stopped crying I asked her.

"Would you like to meet our son?"

She smiled and nodded her head. Then I helped her up and I could see a black glow around her like our son.

We walked out of the room and back to the other room. Percy and Annabeth was in shock then they saw her.

But Annabeth brought over our son and gave Teresa him. She pulled him close to her and tears ran down her face.

Teresa kissed his cheek and smiled at me.

"Did you give him a name yet?"

She asked me and I shook my head.

"What would you like to call him?"

Teresa asked me. I shrugged cause I hadn't thought of anything.

I couldn't think cause I lost his mother.

"What about Jake or Jacob?"

I said and she nodded.

"I like that we can call him Jacob or Jake for short."

Teresa said as she pulled me closer to her so she could kiss me. But if step mother is right then I will die some day.

It was like Teresa knew what I was thinking. Cause she whispered to me. "I have to go and take to Zeus in a few days."

That was all she said but I think I had a good idea what she was going to ask. But I didn't want to fight with her.

What I didn't know what that she was reborn that day. Hopefully she is like her old self. . . .
