A/N: What's up, everyone! I'm back! So, did everyone have a holly, jolly Christmas? Good. Anyway, now that the year is almost over, I have some time to post up my 21st chapter. So, as you can see in this chapter, Bart, Lisa, Todd and the gang make another plan to get Ned Flanders' baseball back and this time, it will be Sherri's turn. Will she succeed or fail? Well, it's time to read this chapter and find out right now!
Chapter 21
Look out, Sherri!
A short time later, Todd peeked through the hole of the fence to see if Fergus was here. We could hear his growling in his dog house, but he didn't come out.
"It's clear." whispered Todd.
We had Sherri strapped up in a safety harness as she swung over the fence.
"Look at me!" giggled Sherri. "I'm flying like I'm on Broadway!"
"Hey, stay still!" I called.
"Alright, I'm going in." Sherri said seriously, as she stopped swinging. "But if I say get me out of here, you guys better get me out of here."
"What are you gonna do if we don't?" Terri asked with a smirk on her face.
"Then I'm gonna skin you alive!" threatened Sherri madly.
"Don't worry, Sherri." called Lisa, as she tried to stay optimistic. "We got you right here."
"It'll be okay!" Allison called. "Trust me!"
"Remember, get me out of here or else!" demanded Sherri.
"We get the picture, Sherri. Don't worry." Martin said.
"Picture?" cried Ralph excitedly. "Where?! Where?!"
"It's an expression, you idiot." I said, looking all agitated. "Get over here and help us."
"Okay." Ralph said, as he skipped over to us.
Nelson, Milhouse and Janey turned the handle and lowered Sherri down.
"Is this good enough for you?" asked Todd.
"No, let me down slow." Sherri replied.
As Todd nodded, Nelson, Milhouse and Janey once more turned the handle and lowered Sherri down some more.
"Yeah, that's right. Let me down. I'm almost there." said Sherri.
"She's almost there." Todd said with enthusiasm, but quietly.
Ignoring Fergus' growling, Sherri got to the ground on her feet and looked around for the baseball.
"I'm in, guys!" Sherri announced.
"Ok, good!" I called. "Now go find that baseball before Fergus comes back!"
Sherri looked high and low for the baseball until she spot it next to Raggedy Ann's face that was covered with cotton.
With a nervous gulp, Sherri slowly walked over to the baseball and then suddenly stopped.
"Did you find the baseball, Sherri?" Lisa called.
Sherri finally snapped out of it, took her baseball cap off for one second and put it back on her head. Then, she picked up the baseball which was now covered with drool as she groaned in disgust.
Then, she called, "Okay, I got it. Get me out of here!"
"Alright, everyone. You heard what Sherri said." ordered Lisa. She blew her whistle and said quickly, "Let's move, move, move, move, move!"
Just as Nelson, Milhouse and Janey were about to pull the rope back up, we were all startled by a very loud growl.
"Oh, crap." I said nervously. "Abort mission. I repeat, abort mission."
Sherri turned around and came face to face with Fergus who was not happy to see Sherri in his yard.
"I-I-I…" she stammered.
"Oh my Lord! Pull her up!" screamed Todd.
"What the hell?! Abort mission now!" I hollered.
"Look out, Sherri!" Terri yelled.
"Jesus Christ! It's Fergus!" shouted Sherri. "Get me out of here!"
Before Fergus could take a bite out of Sherri, she threw the baseball at the dog's face. We all started screaming at the top of our lungs and pulled Sherri back up. We also managed to grab her as she reached the ground.
Then, we ran away from the fence where the tree house was and ran straight to the damaged dugout.
Once we all calmed down, Terri said, "Sherri, are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Terri." answered Sherri. "God, that was a close one."
"Well, did you get the baseball?" I asked.
"Yes, but I dropped it." Sherri said.
"Oh, come on!" we all groaned.
"Sherri, what the hell were you thinking?!" hollered Nelson madly.
"I'm sorry, but Fergus tried to snack on my face, so I had to drop the baseball and…" Sherri tried to explain, but it was cut short when Todd interrupted us.
"That's it! I'm putting my foot down!" Todd yelled. "We're moving on to plan C and this is gonna work!"
"And what if it doesn't?" asked Janey.
"It'll work, trust me." said Todd. "This time, Fergus won't even notice it."
"Alright, suit yourself." said Lisa.
A/N: Well, that was lucky, but not as lucky when Sherri almost got attacked by Fergus and when she dropped the baseball. So, that's the end of chapter 21. I really hope you liked this chapter and please review! Also, chapter 22 will arrive in the New Year. Please review! That's all I'm asking!
THANK YOU & Happy New Year!
