Hello, again, everyone! I'd like to start out by thanking everyone for reading and reviewing my story! It means a lot to me! Second, I would like to congratulate our winners from last chapter, bubbles237, DynamicGiraffe, cherrygorilla, beautifulbeast, BTRrusher1, Kara Valmont, Struts4123, and Aubrey. Now, the answer from last chapter was "Great, now I gots two things to think about!" Great job! Well, I hope you enjoy this chapter! There isn't much action in it, but I couldn't help but do it this way! Also, please, please, please, go to my profile and answer the poll I put up! I have not had a single person vote! I'll be keeping it up for a while, but if you could answer it, I would greatly appreciate it. Once they were inside, everyone began asking questions at once. Most of them were similar to 'what happened in there?'
"Alright, alright! We'll tell you!" Tessa said, holding her hands up in defeat.
As everyone gathered around Tessa, Butchy slipped out of the group to get a drink.
"Ok, so, here's what happened, as I remember it, starting from last night. So, I went to bed, fell asleep, all that. Then, like, a quarter till midnight, Mack and Lela felt the urge to wake me up. They said they were going somewhere, I just don't remember where. They left, I went back to sleep. No big deal, right?"
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Wrong! Next thing I know...Boom! I wake up in that ol' lighthouse! One of the girls helped me change out of my nightgown and into this. She said she'd get the nightgown cleaned, fixed, and back by tonight. But I's got no idea if she'll follow through with that. Anyway, so, I get changed. Then, they tie me to that machine. It's mostly destroyed, but they tied me to it anyways. I was originally kneeling, but I eventually transitioned to standing. The Adders finally left, and I started belting out my frustration. I never said anything that I wouldn't say in front of you guys, and I would tell you's all what I said, only...I's don't even remember what I even said! I was so angry and frustrated that I didn't pay attention to what I said. So, anyhow, after a while, Bolt joined me."
"And boy were you mad! You whipped out a couple insults."
"But I didn't mean them! I's was just frustrated!"
"I know."
"Anyway, I eventually calmed down. I was trying to figure out how to escape, when Bolt said that Butchy would come. We kinda argued a bit, cause I was pretty sure that he wouldn't dare enter the lighthouse. But moments later, I was proved wrong. Butchy untied me, and then we untied Bolt. But then, we lost our balance because of the first explosion. We steadied ourselves, but then we lost our balance again because of the second explosion! We finally got out just as the third explosion caused the lighthouse to burst into flames. And then, well, we got back here, and you know the rest." Tessa said with a smile.
Everyone was making a fuss over how they could've been killed. While everyone was fussing, Butchy walked back over to them and sat down next to Tessa.
"Guys, relax. We's fine." Butchy said.
The others wouldn't listen though.
"Quiet!" Butchy said, slamming his hand on the table.
That however, was a bad move. Butchy winced and pulled his hand back.
"Butchy? Are you alright?" Lela asked.
"Yeah, Lela. I's fine." Butchy said, both lying and clearly in pain.
"Let me see."
"Lela, I's fine. Really."
"If you're fine, you'll let me see your hand." Lela said, grabbing his hand.
"Agh! Lela!"
Lela jumped back.
"Sorry! But if you'd just let me see, it wouldn't be so bad."
"Fine." Butchy said, carefully taking his leather glove off.
When everyone saw the deep red cut of the palm of Butchy's hand, they gasped. Even Butchy did. Only he gasped because the air hitting the cut hurt. A lot.
"Oh, Butchy! Why didn't you say something about this?"
"I didn't want you to worry."
"Well, it's just worrying me more!" Lela exclaimed.
"Sorry."
"I'll go get the First Aid kit from the kitchen." Coral said, jumping up and running for the kitchen.
When Coral returned, Lela took it and immediately pulled out a gauze pad and a wrap. As she wrapped Butchy's hand, he flinched and pulled his hand back a little bit, a couple of times.
"Butchy, would you stop moving! I can't wrap your hand up, if you keep moving!" Lela complained.
"Sorry. It just hurts. A lot more than I's used to."
"Just relax. I's right here with you." Tessa said, massaging Butchy's shoulders.
Slowly, Butchy relaxed. He leaned back, closed his eyes, sighed, and allowed Lela to finish wrapping his hand. After she was done, she stood up.
"Well, I'm done. How about we go home and get your clothes cleaned up? Cause they're covered in dirt. Bolt, Lugnut, you two can come too." Lela said, placing a hand on Butchy's shoulder.
Butchy got up, very careful not to put pressure of his injured hand.
"Myranda, girls, do you you think you could get Butchy's glove fixed overnight? I would, but I'm gonna have my hands full with laundry and taking care of Butchy. He does pretty much everything with that hand. There are some things he won't be able to do. I may have to take him to the doctor's office later." Lela said.
"Sure thing."
As the five left, everyone began to disperse. Including the staff from Big Momma's. But there was one person that didn't leave.
"They're gonna learn their lesson. Wait till Speed finds out about Butchy's little injury. I'm gonna make my way to the top in no time." The guy gave a bit of a laugh and he had a smirk on his face.
