Kai can't help but give off a blank stared outside of the window to see many monster surround the field and the cliff, two of the monster was even on the Honey Prison's beehive outside tried to peek through the window but Love assured them that monster cannot see what's inside but they all can able to see outside clearly as a day.
'So this is why it was called 'Monster season...' She pondered to herself, fold her arms across her chest to look at various animals that she can name or try to count how many but there's so many of them. But one that stood out cause Kai to understand why it was called the 'Monster in the wood' Its a giant turtle called Yougan Oogame AKA Magma Tortoise and it capture level is 70, a powerful turtle in its way indeed.
"WAAAH!" Komatsu's screams knock Kai off of her thought as she glance over to Toriko and her childhood friend who stares outside of the window also, "Look at all ferocious beasts!"
"This is what the 'Death season forest' looks like in this season...We can't go outside unprepared either." Oban's scratchy voice whispered behind them.
"B-but Zebra-san already went out!" The small chef gasped, turns around in concern. "You sure he's going to be alright in such a dangerous season?!"
"Dangerous? Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you two something." Toriko blinked in confused then start to realized something.
"Eh?" Komatsu and Kai blinked and look up at the Glutton king who looks down at them.
"The crimes Zebra committed..."
Meanwhile, Zebra is already outside, sneering at the Turtle who seem to notice the man stood outside, roaring in hungrily.
"I see. This guy...really is getting cocky..." Zebra growled as he inhale, prepare to use one of his attack as Toriko continues to explain.
"One of the Four Heavenly Emperors, Zebra...A Man who possesses sound so advanced he can hear a coin fall from tens of kilometers away. He can freely manipulate 'Sound' and the vibrations of such, giving him the power to destroy anything and everything..."
"So I was right..." Kai muttered to herself, bit happy to get some of her question right about the Four Heavenly Emperor's sense. 'So that means..Zebra really did destroyed the execution grounds was his 'voice'...'
She sighed and is planning to bring some ear muff..if that help her sensitive ears if she have to work with him.
Toriko smiles, bit admired at Zebra's power, "He is the greatest of the four emperors. Due to his power and destructive capability." He watch Zebra continues to inhale more air inside of his stomach cause him to buff up slightly as he sighed lightly, "The problem is his appetite and tendency to fight."
'In other word, he is really a problem-child...' Kai started to understand what Toriko is trying to say as she start to covered her ear tightly along with others to see Zebra start to release one of his attack.
"HHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
A bright light release out from Zebra's mouth shot upward the air as they watching the attack. Toriko release his ears to explain again.
"Finds a food he wants or someone who pisses him off. He will devour them until the 'seed' is annihilated..."
'E...eh...A-Annihilate...?' Komatsu shrinked his eyes as he looks confuse even more and seem to be bit afraid of Zebra even more.
"Zebra has sent 26 species of creatures to extinction up to now...Those are the grave sins he committed. Even now, Zebra is marked as a first-class dangerous creature." Toriko looks grim by this as Kai furrow her eyebrow.
'26 species?! Where did I heard about this before...' She starts to search through her mind.
"Out of all the monsters outside right now. The most dangerous one is him, without a doubt."
SHOGOHHHHH! GOH! GON! GOOOH!
The bright light continues to combustion in one place as Zebra chortled, keep a eyes on it.
"Repeat the echo within...amplify it...now, fall down...Thunderbolt of Sound!"
Once Zebra command it. The Thunderbolt of sound shot down toward all the smaller animals cause them to passed out or dead as Zebra start to shout once more, release another terrifying attack called Voice missile toward the Monster of the Forest who have face it full blast.
KABOOOOM!
"HIIIEEEE!" Komatsu squealed, eye pop out of his eyes.
"What destructive power!" Kai gasped, eye pop out also.
"He really has gotten stronger!" Toriko exclaimed.
"Tch!...Figures that took all my energy. Now I've lost my voice..." A small voice rasp caused Toriko and Kai to glance over to see Zebra lean over to his legs, looks exhausted yet not looks tired already.
"Zebra!" Toriko yelped at the sight of him.
'I swear he's a ninja to everyone but me!' Kai raise a eyebrow at him, wonder why he have lost his voice already but decided 'Sound' must have a sword-edge to it.
"Toriko...Once I eat these guys...I'd like to moisten my throat..." Zebra said softly cause Toriko to perk up happily.
"Wanna go?! Drink some cola!"
And so Zebra has join the party.
"And that concludes today's weather report. We will continues with Today's 'Zebra report'"
'Man, even Zebra own a Report on the Newscaster?' Kai blinks at the Television as she was scanning across a old newspaper while Komatsu was listen to the Television while cooking Toriko and Zebra's lunch.
"According to Eyewitness reports, Zebra is currently moving toward the 'Valley of Sand Clouds' in a 'Lift house.' All those in Neighboring countries, please be careful." The person who announcement it in the TV caution all of the people out there who watching it as Kai frown lightly.
'How did they know where Zebra was...' She sighed and look down at the newspaper tried to go through it to re-read it once more, hear Toriko's voice in the other room.
"Ok! This should do it."
"But what a pain in the ass...why do I have to sew my cheek all the way up?" Zebra grumbled as his left cheek has been sew up to covered up the Glas-glow's. Toriko huffed and looks frustration with him.
"Shut up! This is an order from the president. You just stand out too much...so you need a little camouflage."
"Keh!" The scarred giant snorted, "I can barely open my mouth up with this on. And I can't shove food in!" he pointed at his sew up cheek.
But that is about to be ruined as Komatsu came in with a bright smile, "Here's the meal!"
"I'VE BEEN WAITING!" Zebra looks excited as he ruined Toriko's hard work of sew it up has been broken with a loud rip sound.
"AHHHHHHH, DON'T OPEN YOUR MOUTH, IDIOT! I'm done with it! Kai-chan can sew you up!" The Glutton was upset about his hard work has been ruined.
"You just sowed it all the way up, dammit! What's wrong with you?!"
"You get too excited about food, you know?!"
"Shut up! I can't help the fact that I have a lot of energy!"
"Well then be energetic with a small mouth!"
"You think I can do something that takes that much skill?! I'm gonna kill you!"
"Yeah, I'd like to see you try?!"
"Ok, Lets go outside then I'll kill ya dead!"
"Kai-chan...They're fighting again..." Komatsu sighed as he glanced over to Kai who rubbing her forehead and fold up the newspaper and walk over to the two giants who continues to bickered and seem to get ready to kill each other.
"SHUT UP!" Kai shout, used her power to crash each other's head together in hard way cause them to yelped and rubs their injured head that seem to get anime bump that seem to swell bigger as they were on the ground, while Kai starts to yell at them like a mother lecture the two problem child cause Komatsu to have a anime sweat drop at the view.
'It still amazing me that Kai-chan somewhat can calm the two giant monster like them down...I wonder what's her secret...'
"I can't believe we've to ride the Lift house to get there." Kai sighed as she sit next to the window with the old newspaper that she has not finish read due to finish the quarrel between the giants who start to eat the food with Komatsu happily as she smiles softly at the view then tilt her head to face the window to see the Sand to enjoy the view more till she perk up slightly.
"Oooo~ Sand Rainbow! This is the first time I seen it...I heard there's even edible sand in the 'sand garden', I'm so excited...Matsu-chan! Better come and see this!" she grins as Komatsu seem to finish his small meal who smiles at her, leave the table where the Giant continues to eat or fight each other for the last piece of the meat.
"Hm...That apartment style 'Lift house' is all beat up...I wonder how many years it's been since people rode in it.." Chef blinks as he saw the worn out apartment that seem to have lots of holes in it. Komatsu chuckled and glance over to Kai. "We sure rented such a pretty expensive pension..."
Kai glanced over to see the destroy living room, raise a eyebrow. "Well, it's gotten this beat-up already..."
"I'm bored. Lets' fight Toriko." Zebra's voice boom.
"No, just be quiet, you idiot." Toriko refused.
"What the big deal?! Let's fight for once in a while!"
CRASH! BOOM!
"Why do I have to fight with you for no reason?! Stop being so bored!"
CRACK!
"Because fighting is my EVERYTHING!"
"Who care dumb-ass!"
"Who'd you call a dumb ass? I'm gonna kill you!"
"And they're at it again...At this rate there'll be no house for us to ride on the way.." Kai growled before get up to walks over to the anime smokescreen of brawl to slip herself inside to try to stop them for 20th time.
'They're going to want an arm and a leg for the repairs...' The small chef have a anime sweat drop then sigh heavily, 'But to think Zebra-san was this wild of a guy...' He remember Coco and Sani refusal instant, 'Now I think I understand why Coco-san and Sunny-san immediately refused to meet him and...'
"KOMATSU, SECONDS!"
"AHH! O..Okay!" Komatsu blinks out of his deep through, start to prepare another serving of food for the giants and Kai who might need some food since she didn't eat lunch today.
"So you really did eat those 'Execution Beasts," Huh?" Toriko smirked, have a blood yet bruised face as he took off a meat to eat it. "That's why you've leveled up so much, Zebra."
"You are the one who has gotten stronger, Toriko." Zebra chuckled, also have a bruised yet bloody face, took a bite out of a bread as his left cheek has been sowed up once more thanks to Kai who give him a firm talk about why he have to be stitched up. "I'm glad...there is still someone I can punch on equal ground...BY THE WAY, KID! GIRLY!" He turns around to face Komatsu who yelped in startled and Kai who just raised a eyebrow, munching away on her sandwich.
"Y-YES!" The small chef squeaked.
"Are you...gettin' cocky?" Zebra growled at them two.
"If you mean I've done kick your ass along with Toriko? Then yes." Kai said with a small smirk at Zebra as she have some battered up bruise from take the Glutton and the Problem Child down to stop the fight. Zebra narrow his eyes at the heroine, growled.
"EH?! No, I am not, Not at all!" Komatsu stuttered nervously.
"Ohhh..." Zebra blinked, chewed some more as Toriko and Kai watch them two in silence as Zebra sighed. "Listen up, Kid. Think of me as a 'environment.'"
"Eh? An..Environment...?"
"That's right...If you don't take care of me well, The creatures connected to me could end up going extinct..That's the law of nature! Got it?!" Zebra grins widen as he got snapped out of his feral mode thanks to Kai who just slap back of his head with a stern glare.
"Behave, Zebra."
"Hahahaha! Don't worry about him, Komatsu! There's no need for you to take care of this guy!" Toriko laughed.
"Toriko, you aren't caring for me at all!" Zebra roared at the blue-haired glutton.
Komatsu can't help but gulps nervously, 'Zebra-san is one of the four heavenly epicurean emperors like Toriko-san...but he's clearly different from Coco-san and Sunny-san..even Kai-chan is fine with him...He's a criminal, obviously...A dangerous person...Toriko-san, Kai-chan...is this really alright? Bringing Zebra-san to our journey...'
