Hello there, comic gurus! I was gonna update sooner, but my Internet was being a dick, so I had to get a new ISP. Now that that's all done and done, here's a little back-up piece to hold you over until issue 4. Man I can't wait to get to that issue.
Anyone's been watching the Flash lately? It's awesome. Anyways, enjoy!

(Elsa's POV)
Oh, hello there. My name is Elsa Adele Summers, and I have experienced one of the most stressful periods in my life. Not like that, I know what you're going to say, and I would like to say that's completely immature and not to mention offensive. All women go through it, so please don't make a joke about it. It's embarrassing. Please.
Ahem...anyways, me and Anna are just at home, a welcome place compared to the places I've seen, which even includes another dimension. Don't believe me? I kinda figured; besides, if I were to go around announcing that to any random person, I'd look psychotic.
Here I am, on my red couch with a law book in my lap and watching Criminal Minds on my flat-screen. Yes, my flat screen, I can afford it, thank you! But...how exactly I came into having that sort of money is a long, tragic explanation that I really don't want to experience. Not after reliving a painful experience just a few weeks ago. Sorry, but that can wait.
Oh yeah, Criminal Minds. It's an okay show; I really like how they portray criminals as not always chaotic evil. Meaning not always pure evil. Ugh, man, Anna's rubbing off on me too much. That girl is always surfing the web, on that silly little blog thing about the supernatural, the impossible, urban legends, whatever sounds preposterous. That's my sister, alright. She's still a good person with all that optimism and just, just that perpetual beaming face. It's adorable.
I roll my eyes at yet another interrogation scene in this show. Can't they ever get it right? I know it's a show and all, and drama's the most important element, but seriously, real interrogations in police stations usually are not this intense. Yes, I've sat in on a few of them, you know, aspiring lawyer and all. They aren't this intense; usually, it's more relaxed and very few of these moments rarely have someone shouting or lashing out at something. It's counterproductive and makes the accused look more guilty than they already mayb-

I'm jilted out of my thoughts by the vibrating of Anna's phone. Speaking of which, I haven't seen Anna at all since after our fight with these men in some pretty nice suits. I know they're bad guys, but come on, a nice suit is a nice suit. We have to be on our guard at all times when it comes to these guys; as that blonde girl with the explosive powers said, and I quote: "These guys aren't...aren't...effing around." No I'm not going to swear, since I do it so rarely, and I'm not in a swearing mood, so please drop it.
I get up from the couch and I move to the inn table that's next to the fireplace where my flat-screen is right above. Looking at it, I saw the face of Hiccup Haddock, or as he likes to call himself, the Night Fury or something like that. Wonder why he picked such an odd moniker to call himself?
And another thing, I know Anna has a crush on him. Really, anybody can tell because of how she looks at him, with those longing, big bright green eyes and the way she smiles at him and always, well frequently to put it accurately, and how she gave him a pet name 'lightning rod.' A part of me thinks it's cute, but another part of me worries. I worry because of my sororal instinct; I know Hiccup's not a bad person, but ever since Anna's...rather unfortunate encounter with a schoolteacher about 9 to 10 years ago, I still worry. I know how fragile and naive she can be at times, and now that we have these unbelievable abilities that I'm still trying to make sense of, not to mention the nasty people we fight, it makes her vulnerable.
I walk out of the living room and go to Anna's room, which is right down the hard wood hallway to right. "Anna!" I said, knocking on the door. No response. "Anna! You in there!" I ask again, knocking on the door a second time. Still no response.
I walk through and hallway and go to an opening on the far left, which is where you can see a glass sliding door, and through that glass sliding door, I see Anna. She has on a pink tank top and black yoga pants; haven't seen her wear those since her gymnastics days.
She's...she's controlling the water in our pool. Yes, we have a round, moderately pool, be jealous. She's standing upright, her eyes focusing on the water in front of her. The water itself is floating, by way of Anna of course. I can see how she has her hands out in front of her, moving them along as the water twirls and twists in the air. Her movements are graceful, fluid, polished, judging by how she moves them. Her movements are like a river; smooth, peaceful, like a breeze on a summer day.
Oh, um, I'm waxing poetic. I really don't wanna disturb her right now, but this is from Hiccup, it's probably important; plus, I know how giddy she gets when it comes to her 'lightning rod.' Hehe.
I slide open the door and walk out, but not close enough to Anna. "Anna!" I called out. She turned towards me and her control of the water withered, which resulted in said water falling right back into the pool, making a big splash...and that splash back drenching me. Yeah, yeah, that's funny, I know.
"Elsa! Oh my God," Anna said, covering her mouth in embarrassment. "I-I didn't know you were there." She thought it was hilarious seeing this water drenching me. I could see her struggling not to laugh.
"Nice," I mumbled to myself, annoyed. I moved toward Anna and put the phone out in front of me. "For you, dear sister," I said to her.
"Hiccup," she replied, those eyes beaming again. Man, she's got it bad for him.
"Yeah." Before I give her the phone, I ask another question. "Wait, what were you doing?"
"Oh, um," she began, trying to find the words to say. "I was just um, you know, just practicing my powers. Practice makes perfect and all that!"
"Right outside where everyone could see?" I retorted, raising my left eyebrow.
Anna smiled awkwardly at me. "Nobody noticed?"
I rolled my eyes and handed her her phone. "Talk to your man."
"YOU BET I WILL!" Anna beamed, snatching her phone back and running inside. I was still outside, still drenched as I moved toward the edge of the pool. I thought about what Anna said, practicing her powers. To be honest, I haven't been doing much with my powers since I awoke 9 months ago. The truth is, I'm still kind of scared of my powers; about what could happen if I went all out, lost control, maybe I'd end up creating a new Ice Age or something(*)? No! No, get those thoughts out of your head Elsa! You cannot have those thoughts! Remember, poise and control, or what little you have of both!
I stare down at the pool water and think about if I should try it right now; it is out in the open, and people could be watching, so no! Not doing it! Maybe in the night where most people would be sleep. Yeah, good idea, give yourself a pat on the back.
I go back inside and I find myself in the kitchen where-hey!
"Olaf!" I called out to my pure white cat, who was on the stove once again! Silly cat, do you know what could happen. I move at the stove and scoop him up. "Bad kitty! How many times have I told you: no jumping on the stove!" I was holding him up and he was facing me with those big, sad blue eyes; tch, awww, so cute! "I'm sorry, Olaf," I said, carrying him in my arms and petting him. "But no stove, got it?"
"Elsa!" Anna called out, walking into the kitchen. "Hiccup just called and asked us if we wanted to see something cool! I told him, 'Hell yeah we'll be there!' Wanna go?"
"Eh," I began uneasy. "I just want to stay in today, you know. That was stressful what happened a few nights ago."
"But this is gonna be cool, sis!"
"You just want to see Hiccup, don't you?" I said, smirking. I still might be worried, but it's so easy to tease my little sister, come on, you must understand!
Anna blushed at my little implication. "What?! Um, uh, n-no no! I mean, not that I don't wanna see him, but th-that's not the only reason I um, uh, uh, oh shut up," she surrendered.
I laughed a little bit at her...Anna-ness. "Come on, let's go see your 'lightning rod', I replied, using her little pet name for him. I set Olaf down and went to go dry off and put some new clothes on.
8 minutes later...
I come out with my new clothes on and me and Anna begin our flight to DREAM Labs by heading out the back. "So," Anna said. "Think you might see Jack there?"
I blushed at her little statement. "W-what about him?"
"Oh nothing. Just asking...Snow Angel," she replied, snickering at my embarrassing pet name.
"Don't you say a word." We then took to the sky and we were off.

(Anna's POV)
Eeeeeeeeeee! I see the speedy man through the glass where me, Elsa, Jack, the good doctor, and Astrid are watching too. OMG! Is he gonna go faster? I mean, already going as fast as he does is pretty wicked, but imagine if he could move at the speed of light, or even faster than that! The mere thought of it makes me fangirl more over superpowers than I already do! Eeeeeeee!
I see Lightning Rod step on a pretty big treadmill(*), bigger than any one I've ever seen before; I mean this thing looks like it's on steroids. "You sure this is gonna work?" he called out. Oh don't worry cutie, it'll work.
"Most treadmills have a speed limit of 12 miles per hour at maximum, but this treadmill has been DREAM Labbed. Trust me, it can handle your speed," the good doctor told him through the computer speaker. Man, I never took in the time to realize that this place has got some pretty heavy technology here, I mean damn! Looks like something out of a sci-fi movie or one of the many comic books that I read. Speaking of which, when this is over, I gotta update my blog. Crazy things have been happening in our cities, and it's my job to report it, even if the public thinks I'm crazy!
Um...anyways, I look around me and see the others talking about Cutie. "So we'll finally see how fast Jay goes?" Astrid asked, taking a sip of one of those energy drinks. I noticed that she always calls him by his birth name. Oh it's probably nothing, they've known each other for a while, Hiccup told me. Yep, doesn't mean anything, even if he does hang out with her.
I am not jealous!
"Guess so," Elsa's future boyfriend said back. "I've never seen what Twinkle Toes looks like up close when he's running."
"It's gonna be soooooo cool, right?" I spoke up, smiling wide the whole time. Everyone except Elsa and the good doctor turned and looked at me. "What?" I said. I didn't do anything...
"Anna and Hiccup sitting in a tree..." Jack started.
"...F-U-C-K-I-N-G," Astrid finished, smirking that same smirk that Elsa did earlier, making me turn red once more.
"Oh be quiet," I mumbled staring back at Hiccup. Watching him through the glass, he did something that I was not expecting.
He took off his DREAM Labs sweatshirt. Hellllllo!
Damn! Those shoulders, those broad shoulders, but the one thing that caught my attention were them abs! Damn! Those lean, six-pack abs! Whoo, I wonder what it would feel like waking up next to those every morning. Sweet merciful heavens! If I could whistle right now I would.
...Ahem, um, uh, b-back to what's going on.
"What are you doing, Hiccup?" the good doctor asked, his voice sounding a bit annoyed.
My Cutie looked up and said, "I just want as little resistance as possible. I'm gonna try and go all out!"
The good doctor nodded and pressed the space bar on his computer, which started up the treadmill. I saw Lightning Rod begin to walk faster and faster and faster until he was completely in speed mode. Man oh man, this is uber cool! The way he transforms into a blur when he's running; it's like he's not even human when he's the Night Fury! He's moving super duper fast now!
WHOA!
I didn't know that Hiccup could move that fast! Jesus! I can see static electricity beginning to form in the air round him as he's moving faster than a locomotive, quicker than a speeding bullet! Whoops! Getting into comic book terr-oh screw it! We're already in comic book territory.
All I can do is just stare in wonder and admiration as I see my man running like a comet and that golden static electricity forming around him. By the way, I wonder how that works? Is he doing it? Is it the air? Is it some form of extra-dimensional energy that causes the electricity to show up?(*) I don't know-
"Whoa, my drink is floating up!(*)" Astrid announced. I look to my left and I see the liquid of Astrid's energy drink floating right out of the can. Huh, never seen that before...
"It must be the energy from the explosion in Hiccup," the good doctor spoke up. "I witnessed the same thing moments before the particle accelerator blew." He looked back at the computer screen and frowned. "Oh my God. Look at the blood sugar levels."
Me and Jack looked at the computer screen and saw that Cutie's blood sugar was pretty low. "Um, is that bad?" I asked. I was not very big in science so don't blame me for saying this.
"It means that sooner or later Twinkle Toes is gonn-"
*CRASH*
I looked back through the glass and saw that Hiccup was not on the treadmill anymore, but lying on the other side of the room, boxes piled up on him and feathers flying everywhere. Oh no! I hope he isn't hurt too bad!
"-pass out," Jack finished. I moved around everyone else to the right and the doctor opened up the door.
I know he can heal fast, but he can still be hurt. I know I sound like a worried girlfriend...um, n-not that I am his girlfriend.
Not yet at least. *wink*
And there's something to hold you over!
(*) Try to guess all those Easter Eggs. About two of them will be important.
You should leave all those ideas and comments in that good ol' Review box, huh?
