May walked into the lab, "Fitzsimmons? Wheels are down in –" she paused as she realized that Simmons was crying softly and Fitz was patting her comfortingly on the back. May sighed as she approached the pair.

"Listen to me, you two" May told them sternly. "Skye is going to be fine. I know she's been different lately, but that's no reason for you to be scared, or to treat her any differently, understand? I –"

"Um, May?" Fitz piped up. "That's not why she's upset...Here." He gently pulled Simmons' phone out of her hand, and passed it over to May. The older agent looked down at the update that had recently appeared on Simmons' phone: Female Co-Founder of SHIELD, Agent Peggy Carter Passes Away at Age 96

May smiled sadly and looked up at the tearful agent. "I know you really admired her, Simmons. She was a hero."

Simmons nodded, "If it weren't for her, women like us never would've been given the opportunities we've had today. She made this all possible."

"Yes she did," May agreed. "My S.O. introduced me to her once…she was a brilliant woman, even when she was in her 80s." Simmons looked surprised that May had gotten the chance to meet her idol. May smiled at the young Brit's amazement. "Just so you know, we're landing in five minutes."

The pair nodded as May passed back Simmons' phone. "If you two need anything, you know where to find me".

Skye awoke with a jolt, frantically glancing around the room. She relaxed when her gaze fixed on Coulson, who was sitting in a chair beside her. He smiled at her, and squeezed her hand. "Hey there," he said softly, "how are you doing?"

Skye looked at him blankly for a moment, then paled. "Oh my God," she gasped. "I thought…that you were…that you and May were…dead." She began to rock back and forth, her shoulders shaking. "It was my fault…all my fault."

Coulson pulled the young woman into a hug. "It's okay Skye, we're all fine, see?" He tilted her chin upward so she was looking into his eyes. She nodded slowly, absorbing his words. "Listen to me," he continued, "You don't have to go through that again…May thought it might help, but you two are built very differently."

Skye scrunched her eyebrows in concern. "Actually," she began hesitantly, "I think it might've helped. Yes, the vision of losing you and May was terrifying, but now that I look back on it, I see all the things I could've done to help. I just need to learn control.

"It's too bad I passed out after the first vision," she added thoughtfully, "Even though it was scary, I think I could've handled it eventually."

"Wait," Coulson interrupted. "You said you passed out after the first vision. What about the one with Cal?"

Skye looked confused. "There wasn't one with Cal. I think my situation with him was as bad as it could get, so my mind couldn't come up with anything worse. The only vision I had was of you and May dying because of something I did."

Coulson's eyes filled with tears, as he recalled Skye's cries from the previous day: "Daddy? -No…no! I didn't mean to! -I didn't! NO!" She meant me Coulson thought as his throat constricted with emotion.

"Uh, Coulson?" Skye asked hesitantly, as she saw the director looking like he was close to tears. "Is everything alri–" She broke off as he hugged her tightly once again. She relaxed into his arms feeling safe and happy.

They broke apart as May's voice came over the intercoms: "We've just landed in Aldabra. Coulson and Mack, please report to the office."

Coulson's face set with a look of grim determination. "Gotta go," he muttered to Skye, kissing the top of her head gently. "See you in a bit."
