A familiar dark figure stood before me, a blood red, sinister grin was the only thing that made me recognize it. "I-I saw you in Summerland." I stuttered as its grin became more apparent. "Yes. And I was so hoping that you would have killed that sorry excuse of a man who calls himself your father. I guess I'm not as persuasive as I thought I was..." The figure spoke in an eerie voice.

"I wouldn't kill anyone!" I yelled at it and it laughed. "Not yet. I guess for now you're harmless." The figure said as it began to disappear.

My eyes flew open and I found myself in my dorm, once again looking up at my familiar ceiling. I sat up slowly but as I did my head started pounding furiously. I held my head in my hands for a while before the pain subsided.

"I should go check on her." I heard someone say from just outside my door. I sat up, examining a long bruise that stretched across my stomach. "Damn that Tangrowth got me good." I muttered, slowly and carefully getting to my feet.

"You were just in there a few minutes ago Keith. Stop freaking out and calm down." Kate's demand rand through the door. "Aww come on! Just let me go and check on her again and I'll leave you alone." Keith complained.

"I doubt that. Besides she probably won't wake up until later and she needs to rest." Rhythmi argued in favor of Kate. "I agree with the girls bud." Kellyn said shortly afterwards. There was a brief silence before a sigh of surrender came.

"Fine fine." Keith submissively agreed. "I'm just worried you know..." he said quietly. I could barely hear him but I felt a blush come to my face. I was tired of listening so I gently pushed the door opened and poked my head out.

"Aww that's sweet Keith." I joked. His face lit up as he saw me and he jumped up to give me a hug. As he did everyone hugged me as well and I soon found myself in the middle of a giant group hug. Everyone seemed to be relieved that I was awake but no one seemed more relieved than... Can you guess? If you guessed Keith you were WRONG!

Kincaid stood behind my group of friends and he almost collapsed with relief. Weird right? I mean the Tangrowth did come out of the basement. What was he up to? I didn't feel like being curious so I just enjoyed the moment with my friends.

I suddenly remembered something. "Wait! Aren't you guys suppose to be heading off to your bases?" I asked everyone, Rhythmi giggled. "We've already contacted the bases to tell them we were going to be there either later today or tomorrow. We wanted to make sure you were okay before we left." she told me with a smile.

"Exactly! No way I'm I leaving for Fiore with out knowing you're okay!" Kellyn shouted dramatically, which earned a slight glare from Keith. He snapped out of it for a second and grinned. "I didn't want to get a head start on our battle to see who becomes a Top Ranger first." he joked before everyone went back to their packing and preparation, leaving just him and I in the lounge alone.

"So are you going to pack for Vientown?" Keith asked as we walked over to the couches to sit down. "I will, I mean I'm not in a rush. Vientown is just across the bridge and I... Kinda wanna spent time with my friends before they all leave." I muttered sadly. At this school was one of the first times I actually got to have friends and I really enjoyed it.

"I already packed." he sighed as he spread out on the couch and lied ed his head on my legs. "What's with you and laying on me lately?" He looked up at me confused and shrugged. "I don't know. Your legs are comfy." Keith stated simply. I stood up letting his head fall back on the couch and went towards my dorm.

"Where are you going now?" he whined, sitting up with a sulky look. "I do need to pack. If you want you can come too but its gonna be boring." I said, opening the door to my dorm to see Rhtyhmi and Kate shoving all their clothes into their large suitcases.

"We shouldn't have done so much shopping!" Rhythmi shouted as she struggled to shove her clothes in. "Your fault for buying so much!" Kate shouted back at her, trying to manage her own clothes too. God I was going to miss them... Keith stood at the doorway smirking. "Oh that reminds me I gotta do something real quick." he stated before running towards his dorm. I rolled my eyes and pulled my larger suitcase (that I brought from the motel in Fiore) out from under my bed. I gently folded all my clothes, placing them in the suitcase so they would fit.

I took my sketchbook out of my drawer where I kept my school books and went to put it in a pocket when I stopped. I flipped it open, looking at all the picture I drew. Some of pokemon, landscapes from Fiore and some pictures of my friends. Kate and Rhythmi in the library, Kellyn sitting by a tree and I stopped on one I drew of Keith. "I wrote a caption?" I whispered quietly to myself. My best friend in the whole world, my goofy, redheaded prankster. Man I wrote it so weird but I guess it was true.

I packed all my stuff and sat my suitcase beside my bed. My duffel had just a few things that i kept in the bathroom and a few pictures I was given by Ms. April of my friends and I together. (Including a really embarrassing one of Keith and I dancing at prom. Awkward!) "Ready to go down to the cafeteria?" Said Kellyn who popped his head through the doorway.

BUZZ BUZZ

Oh yeah! I forgot to say that I got a new phone from my grandpa. So I could have all my friends numbers before graduating. "What's that?" Rhythmi asked as she rolled her suitcase over to the door. I pulled out my phone, nothing special but its good. "Its just a text from Keith." I said, glancing at text.

"Hey Lexa! Meet me in Ascension Square in 5 min."

I placed my suitcase just outside the dorm, with my duffel on top, and went down to Ascension Square. Surprisingly it was empty.

BUZZ BUZZ

Another text from Keith.

"Over by the pier, wait for me."

I walked over and sat down on the edge of the pier. "He asks me to meet him and he's late. Classic Keith." I muttered to myself. I felt a shove against my back and fell into the ocean.

Keith's P.O.V.

FINALLY! After waiting so long to get back at her for the "pushing me in the lake" incident in Fiore I finally got my revenge! MUAHAHA!

Alexa coughed up some water and turned around furiously to see me standing triumphantly on the edge of the pier. "Really?!" she hissed as she made her way over to the pier to get out. "Yes really." I mocked as she stood beside me, soaking wet, ringing out the corner of her shirt.

I pulled a towel out from behind my back and draped it over her shoulders. Yeah yeah even though I'm the one who pushed her in I knew I wasn't mean enough to let her stand there soaking. "Thanks at least..." Alexa muttered as she towel dried her hair and walked over to the Pledge Stone to sit down.

"My need for revenge is now satisfied." I joked, sitting down on the Pledge Stone next to her. She playfully pushed me and rolled her eyes. "Now's my chance." I thought as I pulled out my sketch book. "Here."

She took a second and took the sketch book, looking through the pictures I drew from school and on my own time. "Wow their really good Keith." she muttered in amazement as she flipped through the pages. Her gaze stopped on a page and a blush spread across her face. "It was you..."

End of Keith's P.O.V.

I found a page in the sketch book with several small sketches of me. "You're the one who slid the picture of me under the door and sent the bouquet?!" I shouted in shock. He turned away slightly and chuckled. "See, sometimes I can be sweet." he muttered quietly. I didn't know what to say so I hugged him. He immediately tensed up as I did and squirmed away nervously. His face was flushed deep red and he jumped up. "I mean I-I-I was just thanking you for being me date!" Keith stuttered nervously. Eventually he regained his composure and looked at me again.

"We should get back to say goodbye to everyone." he muttered. I smiled and nodded, getting up to walk back. We stopped when we found Kate, Rhythmi and Kellyn walking towards us with all their bags in hand.. "Good now everyone's here!" she said, handing me my bags before we all walked over to the pier where a boat pulled up.

"There's my ride!" Kellyn yelled excitedly. He gave the girls hugs and a "bro-hug" for Keith before hopping into the small boat and heading off. Next one was Rhythmi, she instantly began crying when her boat came and she hugged Kate and I both tightly. She just gave Keith a nod and he playfully pulled her in for a hug, which she resisted.

"Here comes my boat." Keith said, looking off into the water to a small boat that came. He gave Kate a small hug and when he came to me he smiled. "I'll be glad to get rid of you!" he joked before turning immediately serious and pulling me into a tight hug. "Yeah me too..." I muttered sadly. I couldn't even joke though, I was to emotional at this point. The boat pulled up and he hoped inside. "Hey Alexandra!" he called mockingly, I rolled my eyes to look at him. "You've gotta get on the video feed and talk to me as soon as you get to the base! Okay?" He called as the boat began pulling away. "I will!" I called back to him.

I watched his boat disappear over the horizon and Kate placed a hand on my shoulder. "Let's go Lexa." she muttered and we turned to leave. We slowly walked through the school yards, out the front gates and halfway across the bridge before turning back.

From this point on, we're officially Rangers.
