Chapter 21: Surprises

Olivia sighed when she heard the Xbox turn off. It was one in the morning and Elliot was finally coming to bed. He walked in and smiled at her. She smiled and stood up walking to the living room.

"Olivia what are you doing?" He called after her.

Olivia was woken by Kaden kissing her cheek. She smiles and opened her eyes to see the small little brown eyes looking back at her.

"What a wonderful way to be woken up. What time is it baby love?" She said looking over at the clock. "10:30 wow. Is your sister still sleeping?"

"Yes. I did something bad mommy."

"Kaden…what did you do?"

"Uh, I think you should go look."

Olivia groaned and got out of bed walking into each room, seeing what he could've done. She walked into the living room and didn't notice anything. Then she walked into the kitchen.

"KADEN!" She screamed.

"I need to be at the doctor's in an hour. I'll just go alone."

"Liv."

She hung up and handed her phone back to Kaden. He sat beside her and reached up running his hand through her hair.

"Mommy it'll be okay. I promise, you are a good mommy and date for Elliot. Jen is a ugly date."

Olivia laughed and pulled him close kissing his head.

Olivia sighed as she sat on the exam table of the doctor's office. She was frustrated with Elliot and everything that was going on. Grant had been calling her all day and she really did not want to talk to him. Kaden and Vera were of course a handful. She just wasn't getting a break this week.

She heard a knock and then the door opened. Elliot poked his head in and gave her a small smile, before entering the room.

"Hey." He said sitting beside her.

"Hi."

"I'm sorry, Jen is complicated."

Olivia nodded and was relieved when the doctor knocked. He walked in and she almost died. It was one of the guys she slept with while her and Grant were broken up.

"Olivia."

"Jake."

"You guys know each other?" Elliot asked looking at Olivia.

"We had a thing."

"Yes, a thing…6 times." He smiled at Olivia.

She laughed and moved around comfortably. Jake said beside her and got the wand and jelly. He lifted her shirt and put the jell on her belly. He moved the wand around until the swooshing sound filled the room. He clicked a few buttons and squinted at the screen.

"What? Does our baby have like 4 heads or something?" Olivia laughed.

"Uh, no. It seems you're around 7 weeks almost 8 and you are having twins."

"twins?" Elliot asked.

"Twins. Surprise and congrats!"
