Chapter Twenty-One:
The letter.
There Sasuke saw Gaara standing with his arms crossed and a glare. "You.." Sasuke said through his teeth. Gaara kept glaring at him. Everything he felt all was because of him and the worst thing is that he didn't know why. "Its all because of you!" Sasuke yelled as he let Sakura go and throw a punch at Gaara.
Sasuke eyes open wide quickly and saw the ceiling of his room. "It was a dream..." he sat up as he put his hand on his forehead and felt sweat. He had chills. "That guy..." he took a deep breath. The face of Gaara was burned into his mind. The way he stood and glared at him. Sasuke didn't like it at all. It started to effect his sleep. "I have to do something about him... Something before someone gets hurt.." Sasuke said as Sakura face popped into his mind. "Before she gets hurt.." He got up and got dressed as he was going to meet up with Naruto for more spying.
"Sakura-sama!" a voice rang throughout the Haruno household. "Sakura-sama!"
"... hmm" Sakura woke up sleeply in her bed as running footsteps were heard heading to her room. Once again yelling her name as a male with gray hair and green eyes entered her room. He seemed to be in his late 20s. "Whats the matter Daniel?"
"Pardon me Sakura-sama!" Daniel said apologeticly "But a letter arrived! It came from the Village of Sound!" he sounded worried. Sakura looked a bit surpised.
"We get letters from there all the time from family. Whats the matter?" she asked. Daniel gave off a sadden look and handed her the letter. "Hm." she said as she opened it. Her eyes followed the words in the order in which they were placed. She read it til the end then stopped. Then read the last paragraph. Then the last paragraph again. She couldnt believe it. She didnt want to believe it. "no" she whispered tears falling onto the letter. "Not Leo.."
"We couldnt believe it either Sakura-sama..." Daniel said holding back tears. "The plans have started for his funeral.." he looked pained saying those words and with reason. Daniel was Leos best friend. Childhood friends grown up in the Village of Sound but like Sakura was born in the Leaf village and returned to became a ninja.
Sakura was torn. If Leo was there with them weeks ago. Laughing with them smiling at them wishing them luck on the exams. He was so joyous and caring and kind. Then like nothing. Murdered. Sakura cluched the paper crying. Daniel left to give her space. What a way to start ones day.. Sakura sat up in her bed with Leo smiling face at the village gates. Waving goodbye at her and Naruto while walking away til he was out of sight. Leo Haruno. A wonderful person stabbed to death. It wouldve been better if it was instant death but all the cuts were placed so he would painfully bled to death. Sakura got up. It was clear it was Murder. Not Suidice like the letter stated. Some one wanted him dead and was determined to find out who and why. Putting the letter away she got dressed quickly. Sakura fixed her hair with a determined look. She had a plan and left to the living room calling everyone. "Listen everyone!" Sakura started. Everyone sadden listened then understood and all eagerly agreed. Everyone was for it. Sakura nodded. Her plan will work. She will make sure of it.
