Chapter 21: Toys

Akira's POV:

At ten o'clock my alarm clock woke me up. I stand up and walk to my wardrobe. Behind the clothes I normally wear I find black leather pants, a gray T-shirt and a black leather jacket with spikes. Quickly I change into them and then I walk to my desk. Hidden under piles of paper I find a necklace, something my brother gave me. It was a heart-shaped one. The opposite of spade. I smile as I close the clasp of the necklace and let go of it. The cold metal touches my skin and I shiver. Then I go to my bathroom. I open a little closet and grab a knife and a belt so that I don't have to hold onto it the whole time. After I am sure that I didn't forget anything I leave my room and sneak down the stairs.

"Where are you going Kira-chan?" I sigh. I knew he would notice me, but still I tried to sneak out...

"Mitsukuni." I turn around and slightly smile at my big brother.

"You know where I am going."

"I am coming with you." He squishes Usa-chan.

"No. They will play unfair, I know that for sure, but I am going alone. I have to and you know that too."

"Be careful."

"Yes." I turn around again and grab my boots. Then I leave my new home and walk to a near forest, nobody ever goes there, because rumor has it that it's the property of a famous gang leader. Well it's almost right, I may not be a gang leader, but my parents are.

I grab the camouflaged blanket. I throw it away and look at my motorbike. Black. After some time I grab my helmet.

Sam's POV:

The abandoned factory, it's been her territory until she left us. It's like an arena, in the middle of machines, boxes and other stuff is an empty space. You can still see blood on the floor, she has never lost one fight here. I smirk. But this time is different. Even if she wins against us she still looses something.

"Hey Ootori-kun, did you find a place to hide? It's almost midnight you know?"

"If this is some kind of trap I will kill you." He answers and I laugh.

"Kill me? Yeah right. Now be quiet. She's coming." My underlings already open the big gate and only seconds later I hear the noise of her motorcycle. Then the lights go out. Seems like she still likes grand openings.

"Where is he?" I hear her voice asking, then the lights go on again.

"With that little girl." I answer and stand up from my 'throne'.

"Then I don't have any business here." She glares at me and then turns around again.

"Oh yes, you have. Seven only observed her the last three days. He thinks she is boring you know? I only needed a reason to meet you alone." She turns around again and laughs.

"Alone? Samuel, you brought every single one of your underlings."

"Not everyone. Ten is at your home, observing your big 'brother', Nine is at your cousin's, Eight is with the twins, Seven with that little girl and Six is with that blonde french boy." I smirk.

"Don't worry, they won't touch them until I say so."

"So who is at Glasses house? He is more dangerous at least than the twins, why isn't eight with him?" I knew she would notice that. Ten is the strongest of my underlings and so he has to observe the strongest one of her 'friends'. That's how it goes.

"Oh lately Joker has been bored. Normally he is at that boy's home." Her eyes widen.

"Are you insane?! Joker is a sadistic little bastard! He won't wait until you call him!" She grams my jacket.

"I can hear you, you know?" Joker says, playing around with a knife. She lets go of me and turns around to Joker.

"You're here?!" She quickly walks to him and grabs him by his collar.

"If you're here he is either here too or dead. I hope for you he is here and alive. And if I find out that you've done anything to him... Believe me, you don't want to know what happens then." I smirk.

"Don't worry darling, he is okay. And you know what? He even came out of his own free will." Oh, that hurts... betrayed by her own friend.

"But we won't let him go until you become Ace again." She turns around and I see that glimmer in her eyes, she finally snapped.

"So I only have to become Ace again, right?" I nod.

"Yep."

"You're playing with fire Sam. This is my territory. It's my game. And I made the rules. You will loose."

"Oh, I am not your opponent. It's Glasses." With that my underlings drag Ootori-kun out of his hideout. Now she smirks.

"You just won't listen to me, ne Glasses?" She walks to him and then begins to circle around him, like a tiger, she's playing with him. Then she looks at me.

"And you just don't understand what I am saying Jack of Spade. I am the one who makes the rules." With that she throws her knife at Joker. I smirk. She hit him, but she didn't kill him, like she always does.

"Come here Sam." She says, while saying the very same thing with a gesture. I smirk as I walk to her. She throws her fist at me, but I catch it.

"Oh, just how I missed this, Ace." I smirk and she tries to hit me again, this time with her left hand, but I catch her fist again. I pull her to me.

"I've become stronger since the last time we really fought, you know?" She rams her knee into my stomach and I let go of her hands.

"Seems like you've become more of an asshole too." She says before she hits me again.

"Just go down already. I have to scold my favorite toy for disobeying you know?" I laugh.

"Toy? He is only a toy to you? You throw away a toy after you've played with it!" I catch her fist again and smirk.

"Well, I don't throw away my toys, for me they are important."

"So he is special?"

"Got a problem with that Sam?" She whispers.

"Yes. Did you already forget that you're mine?" I only see how the world turns around, then I lie on the ground and she hovers over me.

"I don't remember becoming yours you know? That's something my parents decided. I didn't accept it and I won't accept it. So if you excuse me now, I have to bring him back before his parents go insane." With that she lets me go and grabs that boys arm.
