A/N: OK this is driving me crazy! No I don't own Inuyasha and Co. how many times do I have to say it?! *looks at lawyers with a death glare* Lawyers: how many chapters do you have? Hmm? Because its that many. *lawyer looks smug till I pull out a baseball bat*
-Inuyasha's POV—
"Your awake!" I gently pull her into a hug. Tears threaten to spill. That was not going to happen right now.
"Yeah sorry to worry you all." Her voice was harsh and strained I guess that happens when you don't have a drink in so long.
"Keh. Just don't do it again wench." Grabbing a cup I let her take some small drinks. The wench just smiled at me. Damn woman always sees right through shit. Her doctor walks in, apparently surprised. That makes two of us.
"Miss Higurashi. Welcome back." He smiled at her. Still stunned but apparently happy about it. "We will have to do a few tests make sure everything is as it should be. Though since we couldn't find anything wrong with you in the first place, you will probably be released to go home as soon as the results come back. Now I'll be back shortly, I'll inform your mother your awake as well."
With that he left a smile still on his face he turned and left. Glad I didn't have to leave to tell her family I sat in my chair next to her. Sliding it closer to the bed I held her hand. I couldn't believe she'd finally woke up. She looks so tired, but dying, resurrecting, and Kami only knows what caused her to go into a damn coma like state, will probably make just about anyone tired.
"So… I don't suppose we can go back now?" She asked me.
Dumbfounded I just stared at her. Was she serious? The hell was going on with her?! Just as I was about to blow her family stepped into the room. Though I resembled more of a damn stamped. Not that I could blame any of them. She did just wake up after a damn long time.
"Kagome dear are you feeling ok?" Mama Higurashi asked. I was wondering the same clearly the wench had lost her damn mind. Kagome just nodded her eyes downcast she seemed tense. Why I'll never know. Kami knows she won't tell me right now. So I let her family hug her and babble on about things that had happened while she was asleep. If you can call it that, she didn't ask questions. That was weird. What was weirder she didn't seem surprised. Even when her mom told her about how the doctor wouldn't let Kai in. There was no indication of surprise. What in Kami's name was going on?
Miranda: Don't kill the lawyers! It will take far to much effort to do it with a baseball bat anyway. Not worth it. *answers the knock at the door*
Austin: She said she wanted to see this. *Pulls machete out of bag, looking curiously at me cornering a lawyer.*
Me: Awh.. Thank you you're the best! *snags machete and swings it at a lawyer barely missing*
Inuyasha: Well ya gotta admit it takes far less effort than the bat.
Miranda: Yup that'll do it
*everyone nods. As Miranda and Austin place bets. Rest of cast sweat drop upon seeing this*
Miranda: What we know her. Think about it a second easy money.
*Cast rushes forward to place their bets to*
Me: Some one cover my line for me please!*swings again lawyers scatter away*
