Hello readers and writers! I hope your week been good. I decided to update so soon because we had a snow day. If you have any ideas for this story, find any mistakes, or just want to talk, pm me or review. I will always respond to your pms.
I forgot to mention last chapter that if you were confused on what the street looked like, there is a link on my profile. The link will take you to a google images search. There should be one image enlarged of a dude watching through a destroyed city.

Previously with Percy and Bianca,
When Percy returns a few minutes later, I have to break the news to him.
"Percy, I know who killed your parents."
Percy's POV
A thousand questions and thoughts are reeling through my brain at once. Who? Why? Where are they? I manage to voice the most prominent question. "Who?"
Bianca takes a deep breath and sits down on a half broken log. I sit beside. "The Olympians killed them."
"How did you know?" I ask Bianca, still processing her words.
"The stab mark in their bodies were identical to the ones that you gave Ares, Athena, Artemis, and the one Ivory gave to Apollo. The wound in the stomach was in the same exact place as the one I killed Sydney with," Bianca's voice drops off. "The water on the floor was from your father. Their clothes were charred from Zeus lighting bolt. The water acted as a conductor for the lightning. I was held to the wall of the Artemis's hunters tent by the same barbed wire chains."
I put my hands in my head. I know the Olympians hate me, but this was too much. Killing hundreds of mortals is no revenge, it's slaughter. I stand up and pull Diarkis out of my pocket. I look down the blade before bringing it over my head and slamming it deep into the ground. A golden light pulses outward from the blade, rippling over the ruins of the street. The golden light seems to repair the broken street. The houses are intact and new. Green grass and beautiful plants look healthy in the afternoon light. Children run around and play in the yards. I see my parent's blue van, the car they got after blackjack destroyed Paul's prius, pull into their driveway. Paul and my mother get out of the car and begin to unload groceries. Bianca gasps. I turn around to look at her and notice a patch of the grey ground that we stand on. My parents finish unloading the car and head into the house.
The scene we see suddenly changes. Bianca and I are in the shadows of the Olympian throne room. Zeus sits in his full glory while Hera sits listlessly by on her throne, reading a book. Apollo is on his throne, not listening to music on his iPod for once. He is reclining in his throne so his bandaged leg can be stretched out. A pair of crutches lay by the bottom of his throne. Artemis sits on her silver throne, both her wounded legs stretched out, a look of rage in her eyes. Athena has both of her arms in casts and slings. Her legs are heavily bandaged. Ares sits sharpening his knives while a nymph tends to his legs. Wheelchairs are by Athena, Ares, and Artemis' thrones. Poseidon sits in his throne with Brandon in a smaller throne at his side. My fists clench at the sight of Brandon. Bianca puts her hand around my right clenched fist and I relax. Demeter sits on her throne, talking quietly to Hestia and Hades. Hephaestus is tinkering with metal, but Dionysus is not reading a wine magazine. Both look into the meeting. Aphrodite is brushing her hair while Hermes checks his phone.
Zeus slams his master bolt into the floor, calling the meeting into attention. Immediately, Poseidon and all of Zeus's children look up expectantly.
"We are here to discuss how to punish the traitor, Percy Jackson," Zeus booms. Ares, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Dionysus, Poseidon, and Brandon all grin wickedly at Zeus's statement. Hestia, Hades, and Demeter look on sadly. Aphrodite and Hephaestus look in different.
"I say we track him down and kill him," Apollo says.
"Two problems," Athena states. "One: we don't know where he is. Two: death is too kind a fate.
Artemis rubs her chin thoughtfully. "We could destroy the camp. The traitor always loved that place."
Shouts of protest broke out from all the gods with children at camp Half Blood . "Silence!" Zeus roars. Everyone quiets down quickly. "We can not destroy the camp. That would wipe out the heroes we need."
"We need to hurt something close to Jackson that we can reach," Poseidon adds.
Zeus nods. Brandon stands up from his green throne. "May I say something?" He says, bowing and groveling like Octavian used to.
"You may, Brandon, god of tridents and heroes, minor god of the sea," Zeus allows.
Brandon walks to the middle of the throne room and begins to pace, back and forth. "I believe we need a solution where we hurt or kill someone close to Jackson, correct?" e pauses and the gods nod. "None of you mighty Olympians would wish to kill one of your children for revenge at Jackson?" Brandon glances around at their surprised faces before continuing. "Tell me, is Perseus Jackson's mortal parent still alive?"
Poseidon grins evilly, catching onto Brandon's idea. "Yes, Sally Jackson-Blofis lives in the suburbs of New York with her husband Paul Blofis."
"Then I say as revenge to Jackson, we torture then kill his parents. It would affect him greatly. He was very close to his mortal parent, I am told."
Ares leans forward in his throne, tapping his finger tips together. "I like your idea, punk. But how would Jackson find out about his parent's death?"
"He was traveling with the two children of Hades," Athena said. "They will feel the mass death of mortals."
"I'm in favor of this plan," Poseidon says, not caring anymore about his old love. "My queen, Brittney Poli, has been wanting me to kill her."
"All who agree raise your hands?" Zeus asked. All hands except for Hades, Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Aphrodite, and surprisingly Hephaestus, rose into the air.
"It is determined," Zeus proclaimed. "The council has voted 8-6. The traitor's parents shall die.
The image ripples again and Bianca and I reappear on the street. The sun is still out and the street looks unchanged. Then the sky darkens. A huge arc of lightning strikes down. The other homes on the street and children in the yards are obliterated. My parent's house is untouched. Another bolt of lightning strikes the ground and the Olympians, who voted death to my parents, plus Brandon appeared. Poseidon makes a mortal steel blade appear out of thin air.
"Here son," He says, handing the weapon to Brandon. "Go have some fun with the remaining mortals."
Brandon takes the blade and runs off into the first house. Screams pierce the air from the house Brandon disappeared into. The smell of ozone fills the air and the hairs on the back on my neck stand straight up. A bolt of lightning strikes my parent's house, powerful to damage them, but not to destroy. Poseidon summons water to flood the house and Zeus hefts his master bolt. The Olympians summon mortal steel weapons before marching into the house.
Screams rip through the house and chill me to the bones. I hear Paul cry out, "No!" Before a powerful blast of lightning emanates from the house. I sink to my knees and begin to cry as screams of pain can be heard.
"Make it stop, make it stop," I mutter. Bianca walks up beside me to where my sword, Diarkis, is embedded in the ground. She reaches to pull it out of the ground. "No, Bianca!" I cry as she grabs the hilt. Bianca screams as the blade comes in contact with her hands, but she grabs the blade tightly and yanks it out of the ground. She collapses and the blade clatters away. The street looks the same as it did before I drove Diarkis into the ground. My parents' screams are gone, but they are forever burned in my memory. I crawl over to Bianca. Her hands are bleeding profusely and she's unconscious.
I summon some nectar and pour it over her hands. The bleeding stops, but the cuts don't close. I dribble some nectar into her mouth. Still, Bianca does not wake up. "Bianca," I whisper, stroking her hair. I grab my sword and put it in my pocket. It has done enough damage for a life time.
Finally, Bianca stirs. "What happened?" She croaks, as she struggles to sit up. I hug her tightly before handing her some ambrosia. She chews on it gratefully.
"I'll explain what happened when we get back. The mortal police will be here soon. Do you think you can shadow travel?" I ask her.
Bianca nods and I help her up. She takes my hand and shadows cover us. We arrive outside the cave. Bianca starts to fall on the ground from exhaustion, but I catch her. We walk into the cave, drop through the hole, and enter the main cave. Everyone else is asleep on ledges around the room. Leon, Ricky's lion, tenses when the doors open, but relaxes when he sees it's us. He goes back to laying peacefully by Ricky's side. Bianca and I lay out our sleeping bags on two remaining ledges. I fall asleep immediately.
Reyna's POV
Annabeth Chase had once told me as we were flying back from Greece on the Argo 2, that Aphrodite promised to make her love life complicated. If she thought her love life was complex, she should take a look at mine. In the end, Annabeth always got the guy she wanted. She was always loved. Luke Castellan loved her. Percy Jackson would die for her. She chose to give up Percy for Brandon. She was happy with Brandon now.
When I was with Circe, I was trained to think of men as smelly pigs, dirty animals. I arrived at Camp Jupiter prepared to hate the whole male race. Jason Grace completely changed that for me. He was a warrior at heart, always doing the right thing, and a roman to the end. Underneath his warrior shell, he was kind and caring, putting the legion in front of himself. After the Titan war, I could see he like me. I returned the feeling. We were both praetors, working together a lot. Just as we had reached the closest we had ever been, Jason disappears. I spent months searching for, even spending time with Octavian to search for him.
Then eight months later, Percy Jackson arrived at camp. At first, I hated him for what he had done to my sister, Hylla, and I. Slowly, I began to see his loyalty and honor. I began to smile more with him around, letting go of my feelings for Jason. We were opposites, yet that made us fit together better. Before I knew what was happening, I had fallen in love with Percy Jackson. He was raised to praetor, to work beside me.
The Argo 2 arrived bringing back, Jason and... his new girlfriend. I was crushed. Both the boys I loved so deeply, did not return my love. They both had their own girlfriends. I saw the look in Jason's eyes when he was with Piper, daughter of Venus, and I knew I couldn't do that for him. Percy and Annabeth were inseparable, their love binding them together.
And then there was Leo Valdez. At first, I hated him for his jokes and his insincerity. He blew up my camp and I had to deal with the enraged romans. But I saw the way he lightened the mood, fought with a crazy style, and was loyal to his friends. He was in the same boat as I was. Both hoping for company, but receiving none. We were different. He had crushes on girls, but nothing as deep as mine. I began to fall in love for the third time, something I promised myself I would never do. As always, Venus would never a person truly love me. Leo was sent to Ogygia and fell in love with Calypso. My heart was broken again.
But when I saw Annabeth growing farther away from Percy, my heart soften just a little. I could be there, the one to close the hole in his heart. But once again, Percy only had eyes for someone else. I saw the way he was with Bianca. On the bus, how he moved her feet so she could be more comfortable. Bianca returned the same feelings to him. I was very happy for the two. They needed each other.
Then Triton and Amphitrite arrived. Triton was so much like Percy. The same sea green eyes, windswept black hair, and silent authority that I loved in Percy were there in Triton. I knew I had to let go of my old losses and start anew.
Hours pass by in our new cave. Hours turn into days and days turn into weeks. We have developed a rather nocturnal schedule, sleeping and relaxing during the day, while hunting for food under the cover of night. Everyone was shocked by what the Olympians had done, but there was nothing we could do about it. Triton was a bit angry about Poseidon giving Brandon his titles and domains, but calmed down after a while. Triton and Ricky made spears out of long sticks and pointed rocks for hunting. Ivory cast spells on them so they would never break. Frank and Bianca made bows and arrows out of the same materials.
It was our forty-seventh day in the cave. We counted by making strikes on the walls. Bianca and I had just returned from a long hunt where we had to go farther and farther for food. We had brought back only a few small animals and plants. On days like these spirits were low. We all sat and talked around the hot stones. Instead of a fire, Amphitrite had introduced us to hot stones. They were burning hot smooth rocks and all you had to do was pour water over it. This would release a lot of steam and warmth. It was much more efficient than a fire and never needed kindling.
Triton was telling of us of one of the times he pranked hi mer teacher. "- then he turned around and sat in the hippocampus poop," Everyone roared with laughter. Slowly the laughter died. Everyone waited for Triton to finish his story, but Triton has his head cocked slightly to the side. "Does anyone else sense something?"
Nico nods.
Then a bright light illuminated the room.
