September faded into October as the leaves changed colors and began to fall to the ground. Fall was April's favorite time of the year as everything was changing and the colors were so beautiful. It was also a time of change for everyone around her as Lexie gave birth to her and Mark's son in mid-October. Joshua Sloan was absolutely perfect and the current buzz of the hospital, which didn't surprise anyone since he was completely adorable with his big blue eyes and dark locks of hair. His birth made April start to think about her own future with Jackson, including little ones with his gorgeous eyes and smile. But she knew that was still a ways off for them. For now, she was focusing on Halloween and Mr. Sour Puss not liking the holiday at all.

"I just don't get it…who wouldn't want to be someone else for one night and just go out and have fun?" she asked exasperatedly as she came up to the board on the surgical floor.

"Alex," Jo replied, coming up behind him. "He says it's lame and stupid…even though I told him my costume was short and kind of sexy."

April scoffed. "Men. I got the cutest costume just for Jackson and he doesn't even want to go out tonight with me."

"Oh yeah?" the resident asked. "I'm going as Tinkerbell, but even the promise of a short dress won't get him out of the house."

"Maybe we should send Alex and Jackson together and make them be mean boyfriends together," April suggested with a laugh.

"Or you could wear your costume and see if that changes his mind," Jo winked as she walked away, leaving April with an interesting idea. "That's what I'll be doing tonight if I can get Alex to pull himself away from the television long enough to look."

After parting with Jo, she finished up her day and went home with Jackson, still having the same argument as they'd been having for the last week since she brought up Halloween in the first place. It seemed to be a never ending thing with him that he was going to stand his ground and be a stubborn ass.

"Jackson, it's just one night of dressing up and having a little harmless fun!" she insisted as she followed him into their kitchen.

"It's just not my thing," he said, grabbing a beer from the fridge.

"Ugh…you're a…a meanie," she scoffed. "Meredith and Derek are hosting a party since all the kids are going to be in bed. Even they're dressing up!"

"Then go have fun," he said. "Don't let me stop you. I'm sure I'll find something to do."

"Even Karev is sucking it up and going with Wilson!" she said, throwing up her arms. "I bought my costume weeks ago and thought you would be the one to appreciate it the most."

"What is it?" he asked.

She shrugged. "Guess you'll never know."

April went upstairs and started to dress, letting her hair down and curling it before doing her makeup. As she finished, she added some spray glitter for effect and slipped into her heels. Taking one last spin, she grinned and started out of their bedroom to the door, fully intending to not let Jackson get one peek since he was being a jerk about this whole Halloween thing. But he caught a glimpse of her and she saw him jump up from the couch, almost spilling his drink on himself in the process.

"Whoa whoa…" he said, coming over to her.

"What?" she asked innocently, turning around to face him.

"That's your costume?" he asked, looking up and down at her like she was something that walked straight out of a fantasy for him.

"You don't like it?" Her face fell in disappointment.

"God…I love it, April," he said immediately. "But I can't let you out of here to let others see you like that. Not as a Playboy Bunny."

She was immediately offended as she pushed him back. "What?! I am perfectly capable of wearing this and…"

He cut her off with a deep and passionate kiss, one in which she melted into easily as she wrapped her arms around him. She felt his arms trailing down to her waist, pulling her close to him where she could feel his arousal starting in his pants, making her giggle in the kiss. Of all the reactions she had thought about, this was the one she least expected since Jackson had been so against all things Halloween from the start.

"You are every man's walking fantasy…especially mine," he groaned, kissing her neck. "I don't wanna share you with anyone…I'm a very selfish man."

"Is that so, Mr. Avery?" she asked, pulling back to look at him with a little grin. "Well I happened to buy this…thinking about you."

He groaned again and kissed her deeply, tugging on her bottom lip, making her moan softly as she pressed her palms to his chest. She could feel the warmth radiating underneath his t-shirt before she pulled back and looked at him again with a smile. She loved how she could affect him so much, especially with something like this that she wouldn't have had the confidence to wear a year ago.

"I suppose we could…celebrate Halloween here," she conceded with a smirk.

"You're the best girlfriend ever," he replied, kissing her as he shut the door and pulled her close to him.

"Oh am I?" she asked innocently as she broke he kiss. "Well you don't get anything unless you say the magic words."

"What words?" he asked, arching a brow at her.

"You know the words I'm talking about," she teased, going toward the bedroom with a little smirk.

He followed along right behind her like a little lost puppy before he turned her around and their lips brushed just lightly. "Trick or treat…"

April smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him again. "You definitely get the treat tonight."

As he kissed down her neck to the top of her chest, April felt herself shivering a little with anticipation since she knew what was coming. Though she knew that she would get some reaction from Jackson about her costume, she certainly hadn't expected this, but she loved it. Her boyfriend spare no time in pinning her to the wall of their bedroom before kissing across her chest as his hand traveled up her side to the zipper that held her corset in place. She allowed him to unzip it slowly, anticipating the cooler air rushing across her chest.

"God Apes…" he said, sucking in his breath as the corset came down, revealing her bare chest.

"Like what you see?" she asked huskily against his ear, her confidence building with his every reaction.

He pulled back to let her see that he was already straining against the cloth of his athletic pants, grinning as he slid down the corset to the floor and she stepped out of it. His hands made good on pushing off her tights as well, making her stiletto heels come off as well, leaving her in just the bunny ears, bowtie, and her panties. Flushing slightly, she looked him in the eyes as his hand wandered along her bare side before she tugged his shirt up and he lifted his hands to help her. The sight of his bare chest always made her stomach flutter with butterflies because this gorgeous man was all hers and no one else's. April Kepner, nerd and geek extraordinaire, somehow had the most amazing boyfriend in the world.

She moved down and pushed off his pants, seeing his erection straining through his boxers as she slid down the waistband, letting them fall to the ground too. When he was naked, he quickly slid her panties down and she stepped out of them before her back was to the wall again and he was kissing her, tangling their tongues together in a frenzy of hormones and passion.

As she went to remove the bunny ears, he stopped her with a smirk. "Leave them on…it's kind of hot," he murmured as he kissed her again, lifting her leg to hook on his waist.

He reached between them and rubbed his tip along her folds slowly, making her shiver and moan as she grew wetter. "J-Jackson…" she moaned, trembling against the wall as he continued to tease her.

"Hm? he murmured against her neck.

"I want you," she said, biting her bottom lip and bucking her hips to his to urge him to take her.

Granting her wish, Jackson pushed into her all the way and made her moan deeper as she tightened her walls around him. He began to rock against her, pushing in and pulling out slowly to tease her more, causing her to grab his backside and push him deeper inside of her as she arched into him.

Jackson groaned deeply and lifted her other leg up so he was carrying her as she rode him. Moving away from the wall, he set her on the nearest surface, which happened to be the chaise at the end of their bed. Halloween had taken on a whole new meaning for April and she knew that she now understood why the costumes were so skimpy for women.
