Chapter Twenty One: Final Battle Part 1
On the shore of the now destroyed Diclonius Research Facility, Kaede stood by a SHIELD BTR-80 with her brother Kokoro as she observed the damaged done to the hellish island. For years she wished she could see this place crumble under its own hellish weight, but she never realized the world would also like to see this place taken down.
"Guess this is one chapter of your life you can close." A familiar voice said as Kaede turned to see Venom standing next to her.
"But I will bear the scar, that's something I can never forget." Kaede said, more to herself than her friend.
"Scars are just a sign of someone with a will to live, that I know for sure." Venom countered as he himself knows how to bear physical and mental scarring.
"So what's going to happen to big sis and me now Mr. Venom?" Kokoro asks Venom as his grip on Kaede's finger tightens.
'Well we have to wait for the Captain to finish overseeing the destruction of this places files so you, your sister, and all the surviving Diclonius can have a clean slate." Venom answered the boy as he turns to see a very busy Captain America on his com link.
"Team Gamma, anything new on your end, over?" Rogers asks.
"Negative sir, just an empty facility sir, over." One of the SHIELD Agents answered.
"Wait I see something!" Another SHIELD Agent yelled over the coms.
"Holy Hell what is that!?" The squad leader yelled in terror as the opened fire.
"Soldier, what do you see?!" Captain America yelled, which got both Venom and Kaede's attention.
"Some kind of monster?! Oh god it's achhhhck!" The Squad Leader was about to answer before he was cut off by the sound of a sicking slice.
"Gamma Squad do you read?! Gamma Squad?!" Captain America tried to see his fellow soldiers' statuses.
"HELLO THERE ROGERSSSSSSSS!" An inhuman yet familiar voice hissed over the coms.
"Kakuzawa, how did get this line?!" Captain America demanded.
"Kakuzawa?!" Venom and Kaede said in shock.
"WHEN I SAID I WANTED TO BE A GOD, I MEANT IT! AND NOW I TRULY HAVE THE POWER TO KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU!" Kakuzawa roared before the com link was severed.
"Everyone take position, we're not out of the woods just yet. Thompson, I need you to hide in cover to flanks whatever Kakuzawa has planned for us." Captain America instantly ordered as the SHIELD agents and Venom took their postions.
"What about us?" Kaede asked Rogers with her brother gripping her leg.
"You go into one of our boats so we can get you the hell out of here!" Steve orders.
"Like hell!" Kaede said defiantly "My brother needs to get out of here, but it seems for me I should finish my score my Kakuzawa!"
"I'm staying with big sis!" Kokoro said as he held unto Kaede.
"This isn't a debate match! He's hell bent on getting you and your brother and the last thing we need is-"Captain America was about to say before suddenly something massive bursts from the barricaded facility doors.
"No way…" Venom said in shock as he saw what killed the soldiers. It was a heavily mutated and hulking Kakuzawa with half his face morphed into that of a symbiotes' some mechanical parts revealed under his flesh, dozens of diclonis horns growing from his skull, and dark red vectors manifesting on his back.
"LUCY…." Kakuzawa hissed at his enemy, showing his rows of razor sharp teeth as he lunged straight at her.
"Kaede get of here!" Captain America warned as held his shield up to prepare the coming attack. At first it seemed Rogers managed to stop the rampaging monster, but Kakuzawa managed to get the drop on Captain America as he used his vectors to grapple the super soldier throw him across the shore, knocking him out.
"YOU BASTARD!" Venom roared as he lunged at the mutated Kakuzawa.
"PITIFUL ATTEMPT TO STOP ME!" Kakuzawa laughed as he grabbed the enraged Venom by the throat and used his vectors to smash into his chest at full force, breaking ribs.
"Venom!" Kaede yelled in fear.
"WAIT YOUR TURN GIRL!" Kakuzawa hissed as Flash's symbiote tried in vain to lash out against the mutated director.
"WE WILL KILL YOU!" Venom roared.
"NEVER THREATEN A GOD BOY!" Kakuzawa sneered as he head butts in Venom's face, knocking literal teeth off the alien's face and revealing a bruised Flash Thompson's face. Satisfied with Venom's defeat, Kakuzawa slammed the weakened Venom on the ground.
"This ends here you son of a bitch!" Kaede said with a voice full of venom.
"YOU ARE CORRECT…" Kakuzawa said calmly as in blinding speeds he dashed in front of Kaede and in a quick motion, swipes the girl with enough force to send her flying across the shore line.
"Big sister!" Kokoro yelled as he ran for his sister, only to see her bloody from the sheer impact of Kakuzawa's strike.
"TRAITORS TO THEIR OWN RACE." Kakuzawa said in disgust as he made his way to the Diclonius siblings, eager to finish them off.
"Dammit, I have to do something!" A wounded Flash wheezed as he tried to figure out a way to save Kaede, but then he that the reason Kakuzawa was so powerful that it seems he's like a upgraded version of the Mariko Diclonius/Symbiote Hybrids. "I guess we need one on our team."
In that instant, Flash sent his symbiote to Kaede's location as he passes out from the separation.
Back with the siblings, Kokoro bravely holds unto his sister as he stares down the monstrous Kakuzawa. "Go away!"
"DIE BASTARD CHILD!" Kakuzawa growled as he was ready to finish them off before he sees the Venom symbiote flowing over Kaede.
"IMPOSSIBLE!" Kakuzawa roared as suddenly he was hit by a massive wave of force, knocking him off his feet.
"You dare try to hurt my brother…" Kaede hissed as he voice distorts "…now you have to face ussss! I AM THE QUEEN OF THE DICLONIUS!"
Kakuzawa looks up to see Kaede, but bonded to the Venom symbiote.
