Okay. Now starts the chapters where the girls are back. And this chapter shows a "Darkness" RWBY weapon. I hope you like it.
Ryan and Romeo landed in the middle of the street nearby the abandoned building where they killed Torchwick. They picked themselves off the ground and dusted themselves off.
"Well that felt different." Romeo looked at Ryan, "Was that you?"
"I did feel the Darkness working on something….. But why does it want us back here?" Ryan looked around, "Something is off."
"Like what?" Romeo asked.
With him at our side, time is no longer your master.
"Time….." Ryan thought, "Romeo, pull out your scroll and check the time."
"Alright…" Romeo did what he was asked, "But I don't know what that….. That's odd."
"What is?" Ryan asked.
"Something must be wrong with my scroll. I know they adjust time automatically, but this is off by a few hours…. And… Days." Romeo just stared at his scroll.
"Is it possible?" Ryan paced around, "Could the Darkness have sent us back in time?"
"Normally I would say no….. But I don't know how your powers work." Romeo said.
You must move now if you want to save the females.
Ryan looked towards the building and noticed something different, "White Fang?"
"What are you talking about?" Romeo looked around, "Where do you see them?"
Ryan pointed, "Over there. They were not there when we came through."
"Maybe they are checking out our handiwork?" Romeo suggested.
"Maybe. But something is…" Ryan stopped.
The Darkness changes Ryan's vision for a while. He could see the people inside the building by looking at their outlines which glowed with their aura. In one of the rooms, he saw a familiar figure.
"Ruby…. Still alive….." Ryan looked on.
"Ruby? Where?" Romeo tried to snap Ryan out of his trance.
"Inside the building….. And Torchwick is with her." Ryan's vision went back to normal.
"If she is in there, then we got to go get her!" Romeo was about to walk towards the building.
"Hold on." Ryan held him back, "Romeo, you did a good job getting the weapons for me."
"Yeah, sure."
"But I have one more job for you." Ryan finished.
Romeo smiled, "You want me to sneak in and get Ruby while you cause mayhem outside?"
"I think it would be fitting if you were the one who rescued Ruby." Ryan smiled back.
Romeo nodded, "Let's do it then."
Ruby was tied up in a chair, alone in a room with Torchwick. Torchwick took a puff from his cigar and walked towards the tied up heroine.
"Well, well, well….." Torchwick walked around Ruby, "You and your little band of school girls have caused me a lot of trouble, Red."
"Why?" Ruby asked, "Did mess something up in the crime fighting department?"
Torchwick squished Ruby's cheeks and force her to look at him, "I mean it you little brat! You don't know what I have to work with on a daily basis!" He let go of Ruby and straightened himself out, "But that will no longer be a problem seeing as you are here, without your oversized garden tool, without your friends, and totally at our mercy."
Ruby stuck her tongue out and blew raspberries at him.
"Defiant to the end, eh?" Torchwick tapped the ashes off his cigar, "Childish, but defiant." He leaned on his cane and stared at Ruby, "You will pay, Red. And I will see that your punishment is much worse that what I have gotten."
Ruby just glared at him, not knowing what the criminal had planned for his "Revenge". But all thoughts of the bad guys winning went away when they heard a voice from outside yelling out.
"Hey, boss!"
Torchwick rolled his eyes and went to the window. He opened the window and stuck his head out.
"What is it now!?" He yelled, "I swear if you guys are just howling at the moon, I'm gonna…"
Torchwick stopped and stared at the figure that stood on top of the shipping containers. Ruby was able to look outside as well and look at the figure. She saw the hood concealed his face, but she recognized the clothes that Ryan wore.
"Look kid, whatever you selling we're not buying. So take a hike!" Torchwick yelled across the compound.
Ryan didn't move.
"Kid, if you don't get out of here, we are going to break your legs and toss you in the water." Torchwick threatened.
"No! Leave Ryan alone!" Ruby tried to get up, but she fell down due to still being tied up.
"Oh? One of your friends, Red?" Torchwick smirked. He grabbed Ruby and dragged her to the window, "Okay you guard dogs, sic him!"
Ryan saw that Ruby was watching now. He looked behind the large group of White Fang soldiers and saw Romeo sneaking in the building. Once he was inside, Ryan jumped off the shipping containers and landed on the ground. Ryan drew his sword and waited for the White Fang soldiers.
Excellent. Now unleash my power.
'No.'
No? What is the meaning of this?
'Ruby is watching me. She can't know about the powers I have. I don't want to scare her.'
Fool! Use my power or perish!
Ryan ignored the Darkness and readied his weapon while slowly walking towards the White Fang. They surrounded him and formed a circle. Ryan saw that they changed their assault rifles into swords and got ready for the fight. Ryan blocked, tripped, and slashed one of the soldiers attacking him. He parried another attacker and stabbed his sword through the attacker's stomach. Ryan spun around to dodge another attack and then sliced the head off another White Fang member. He jumped in the air and jabbed the blade of his sword into the head of another White Fang, followed by a horizontal slash that cut two other members in the chest. He blocked an attack by two soldiers and locked blades with them. Ryan broke the enemy's swords and proceeded to cut them down. He then ran towards another member and sliced his arms off before using his sword to hack the head off.
"Hmm…" Torchwick took a long drag from his cigar, "Bit of an angry lad, isn't he?"
Ruby said nothing and could only watch as Ryan cut through the members of the White Fang.
Ryan blocked a sword attack and countered by slicing the soldier's legs off at the knees and then slicing the rest of the body in half. He then blocked another attack and countered by slicing the arm off at the elbow and then slicing the head off. Ryan used a little bit of Darkness power to teleport towards another White Fang member and stab him through the heart. He took the blade out and then stabbed another member through the mouth. Ryan blocked the attacks of two more soldiers coming at him. He countered by knocking them off balance and slashed them rapidly in the chest. Ryan then ducked under to dodge a horizontal strike and countered by kicking the guy so he would spin around, then he stabbed the guy in the back of the head. He then stabbed another one in the stomach and tore his guts out. Ryan raised his sword above his head and sliced the White Fang member down the middle.
Romeo looked outside and saw that Ryan was still fighting and working as a distraction for him. He continued sneaking up the stairs heading towards Ruby.
'Please hold on, Ruby. I am coming.'
Ryan sliced his sword in an "X" formation and sliced a soldier's head in four pieces. He then saw that the rest of the White Fang were slowly stepping away from him.
'So now they are scared?' Ryan thought.
He then saw that a large bull Faunus dressed in the White Fang's uniform came walking out. He walked towards Ryan and stopped.
"You put on quite a show, kid." Torchwick smiled, "But I think it is time for Toro here to clean up the mess you made."
Ryan looked at this "Toro" guy and could tell by his muscles that he was going to be tough. He used a bit more of the Darkness' power to give himself more strength and this forced his eyes to glow yellow. Ryan gripped his sword tight and walked towards Toro. He swung his sword to slice Toro's arm off, but Ryan didn't anticipate his speed as well as his strength. Toro's arm dodged the blade and he punched Ryan on the left side of his cheek. Ryan spun around and stumbled back. He went to attack again only for Toro to punch him again and sent Ryan flying back towards a wall. Toro slowly walked towards Ryan as he peeled himself from the wall. Ryan went to swing his sword again, but Toro grabbed the blade and snapped it in two. Then Toro slammed Ryan into the ground.
"Ouch!" Torchwick flinched, "That had to hurt."
"Ryan!" Tears ran down Ruby's face, "Please get up!"
Ryan looked up to see Ruby. He grew worried.
Use my power. Or die!
Ryan had no choice now. He roared and started clawing at Toro's stomach with his own hands. He tore through the cloth, then the skin as blood started going around.
Torchwick could not see Ryan anymore and could only see Toro's back.
"What's wrong with you, bull? Finish him off!" Torchwick ordered.
Toro fell flat on his back to reveal Ryan with the Darkness. One of the snakes held Toro's heart in its mouth. It closed its jaw tight and crushed the heart, making the blood flow out of its mouth. Ryan reached behind his back and pulled out Crescent Rose. When the weapon was fully extended, the power of the Darkness flowed in the weapon and gave it a different form.
The Dark Rose…..
Dark Rose, as the Darkness called it, still kept the normal shape of a scythe. The Darkness covered the weapon in a black color while still leaving some spots of red making it look like pools of blood or blood spatters. The blade has been changed as well. It was formed to look like it was jagged and chipped like Ryan's katana. And the end of the pole was given a spear tip that was in the shape of a scorpion's stinger.
Kill them all!
Ryan jumped in the air and flew towards a group of White Fang members. He stabbed the scorpion spear tip in one member as he landed. Ryan then spun the scythe in a full circle. He sliced a head in half, decapitated another head, and cut another in half by severing the torso from the rest of the body. Ryan fired the gun and launched himself towards two more White Fang. He stabbed the scorpion spear in the mouth of one member and then spun the scythe to slice the other one in a vertical and horizontal angle, which made him fall into four pieces. The Darkness roared as Ryan watched the remaining White Fang run away from him.
"I don't believe this!" Torchwick watched all of this from the building, "That kid is exactly a lot like Estacado…."
Ryan looked up at Torchwick and the Darkness roared.
"I am not putting up with this again!" Torchwick yelled out.
One member of the White Fang walked through the door and into the room, "Uh… Sir?"
"Never mind, Perry." Torchwick said, "Just take the brat and get in the car!"
Ruby could only stare at Ryan. She remembered seeing strange creatures the time they went camping, but she never thought that Ryan was controlling them. And it scared her knowing how brutal and dangerous Ryan can really be. Ruby was being dragged away now and Torchwick opened the door to run away. He felt that the door hit something and checked to see what it was. Romeo was knocked out on the floor from being hit by the door.
"These kids are everywhere!" Torchwick continued running towards the garage.
Torchwick got in the back of the van and Perry put Ruby in with him.
"Sorry about this, Red. But I am not putting up with that freaky tentacle snake thing again."
"Again?" Ruby looked confused.
"Well you see… Wait. Why am I telling you? You don't need to know!" Torchwick knocked on the back of the driver's window, "Let's go, Perry."
They heard sounds coming from nearby. Ryan walked across the corner with the Darkness in tow.
"Oh crap! It's back, its back!" Torchwick closed the back doors of the van, "Drive, dammit, drive!"
The Darkness tore the back doors apart and roared at Torchwick. The van started driving away as fast as it could and Ryan gave chase. Unfortunately the van got on the road and went full speed, getting away from the Darkness.
"Fuck!" Ryan cursed. He tried to aim Dark Rose's gun to shoot the tires, but he put it away fearing that the bullet would hit Ruby, "No….."
Romeo walked out holding his head, "Did you get her?"
"No. They got away." Ryan said sadly.
"Son of a bitch!" Romeo cursed, "We got to get after them."
"What happened? Why didn't you stop them?" Ryan asked.
"Don't blame me!" Romeo yelled, "Your Darkness crap sapped a lot of my aura. I got knocked out by a fricking door!"
"Well fan-fucking-tastic!" Ryan kicked the ground, "We better tail them."
No.
"No?" Ryan grew confused, "What are you talking about?"
"Why doesn't it want us to follow them?" Romeo asked.
If you pursue the girl, the rest of the females will die.
"But Ruby…."
Is safe for now. Trust me, host. I did get you this far.
"Well? What is it?" Romeo asked.
"It said that if we go after Ruby, the others will die." Ryan told him.
"But we can't abandon Ruby." Romeo told him.
"I know…" Ryan thought, "We will split up."
"Split up?" Romeo looked confused.
"You will track Torchwick down and find Ruby, while I save the other girls." Ryan told him, "Come find me when you found her."
"Right." Romeo nodded, "You should be easy to find with your unique aura."
Ryan nodded, "Good luck, Romeo. And be careful."
Romeo waved goodbye and ran towards the direction where the van was going.
Ryan stood in the middle of the road and talked with the Darkness, "So…. You are going to let me save the others?"
Yes.
"Who do we find first?"
We will deal with the worst first and get it over with.
"The worst?" Ryan looked confused.
What is the worst for me, will be the best for you.
Ryan tried to think about what the Darkness meant. He thought he was talking about the enemies he will fight, but enemies are not the targets. The girls are. So the best for Ryan will be…..
"Yang…"

And in other news, RWBY is now over and we have to wait for vol.3 now. Darn.
