Chrom's POV

"So we have to go…here?" Robin pointed to a large tree on the map."

"Aye. The voice of Naga sleeps there. The Valmese are to attack her. Protecting her is our first priority." Say'ri said. "She might know something about the fire emblem, seeing as how it was a gift from naga." He said, patting the emblem resting on his arm.

"Remind me again why we are using our national treasure as a shield?" Robin asked.

"Remind me again why you are wearing a Plegian coat?"

Robin seemed to grimace for a moment, but returned to his smile. "Touché."

Lucina cleared her throat. "Back on track…"

"Right. So I'll send Cordelia and Sumia on a scouting mission. But I might send Cherche as well, seeing as how the last scouting trip went." Robin said. "If Walhart commissioned any troops there, we'll have to respond accordingly. Which brings us to our next topic, troops. We are heavily outnumbered, with or without the resistance. I don't think we can win the war with the enemy having double our troops."

"But that amount of soldiers mean that they might not be properly trained. While our soldiers were trained to the highest degree." Chrom said. "But I don't want to bank entirely on that theory." Robin said. Robin shook his head. "That's all we can do. We'll have another meeting when our scouting mission is successful. I'll go draft preliminary formations for the upcoming battle."

"Father!" Lucina walked up next to Chrom shortly after the end of the war meeting. "Hello Lucina. Do you need something?"

"Well, Morgan has theorized that there is a chance her memories might improve if she spent more time around her blood relatives. And this is the perfect opportunity for the two of you to get to know each other."

Chrom chuckled. "Is this just an excuse to spend more time with Robin?" He asked, causing Lucina to blush.

"That might be partly true." She admitted. "But still, my point stands."

"I'd love to, Lucina. Just don't let her call me grandfather."

"Grandfather!" Morgan said, rushing up to Chrom. "Please don't call me that. Chrom is just fine."

"Mother said the exact thing! But Father insisted on me saying it!" Chrom groaned. "You know what? It's ok. So what do you want to do?"

"Well, I thought I could try holding falchion, so I can poke people with it!" Morgan said enthusiastically. Then picked up a stick and started jabbing the air.

'Where does all her energy come from?" Chrom thought. This girl had more energy than Gaius on a sugar rush.

"Well, maybe not the poking part, but you can certainly try holding Falchion." He unsheathed the sacred blade and handed it to her. "Don't touch anyone with it." Chrom added. "In the hands of royalty, and royalty only, it is the sharpest blade in the world."

Morgan experimented by putting a finger on it and yelped. "It gave me a cut!" Morgan said.

"Well, at least we know you can use it." Chrom joked. "Now let's go see Lissa to patch it up. Lucina will kill me if she found out I hurt you."

After Morgan' s finger was healed, They went to his and Sumia's tent.

Sumia was already in the tent. "Chrom! Oh, and my granddaughter is here too!" She took a step towards them, and tripped and faceplanted on the ground. Chrom and Morgan winced.

"Grandmother! Are you OK?" Morgan asked.

"Don't worry, she's fine. She tripped so many times, I don't know how she stays so beautiful. He turned and got punched in the face.

"Oh, sorry dear! That was supposed to be a light slap!" Sumia apologised.

"you got to stop that habit" Chrom said, massaging his cheek.

After hours of talking to their grandchild, Morgan eventually set out to find her parents. After she left, Sumia sighed. "Can you believe it? Not even twenty-five, and we already have a Granddaughter."

"Not to mention our daughter is courting my best friend." Chrom added. "But you know, I like it. We're like a big happy, time-dysfunctional family!"

Sumia laughed. "Oh Chrom." She leaned next to him. "I wish everyday could be this peaceful." She said.

"It will be. We will win the war, then defeat Grima. And We'll still be together. I promise."

AN: I'm going to start focusing on other pairings now, but we'll still have some Lucina/Robin fluff in between, and action. Definitely action. Also, This was completely in Chrom's POV, and I haven't done a single POV for a long time. How do you think I should space the POVs? Leave your suggestions by reviewing!
