I know I told you all that the next chapter wouldn't be up until after February, but i got all these great reviews and I thought I would be nice to all of you. The next chapter will not be up until after February 28th. I have my thesis presentation to worry about. I am also writing up a new story for the Vampire Diaries that I hope you all will enjoy when I post it. So please enjoy this new chapter.

October 31st
Elena stood at the top of the stairs with the rest of her friends, while waiting for when Katherine wanted to make her grand entrance to her party. Elena was dressed in as Snow White in a white off the shoulder ball gown with crystals encrusted on the straps and a sweetheart neckline. The dress also had a white band going around the midsection. She was also wearing a black wig that she had put in a ponytail and then twisted her hair around her the base of the ponytail and then she took the rest of her hair and pinned it all up into a messy bun with curls. She was also wearing a small tiara and white small band around her neck. She looked like a modern version of Snow White.
Caroline was standing beside her with Rebekah and Anna, just chatting away while they waited. Caroline was wearing the dress she had chosen at the dress shop, but Caroline had done her hair just like Cinderella's, along with wearing pearl earrings and she was also wearing the blue headband and the white gloves, just like the traditional Cinderella and Caroline looked just like Cinderella too.
Rebekah was dressed like Jasmine in her crimpi cut harem pants and of the shoulder back top that was lose and showing off her stomach, it was modern version of Jasmine's outfit. She also was wearing a black wig that was done up like Jasmine's hair, with the headgear and everything, she was also wearing the earrings seen in the movie and the shoes.
Anna on the other hand was wearing a high-low, blush colored corseted dress that revealing the boning of the dress, with a lacey overlay. The dress was form fitting with stonework and sequins on the bodice and sweeping train with tulle tiers. Anna was also wearing a long curly red wig. She looked like a new version of Ariel.
All four of the girls looked beautiful and ready to step onto the show of Once Upon a Time. What Elena was having fun with was looking at how the guys were dressed, because some of them were wearing tights. She could tell that Tyler was not too happy about wearing tights and neither was Stefan, they were really not happy when they saw a few of the guys did not have to wear tights.
Stefan was dressed like a modern version of the Prince, while Jeremy was dressed like Prince Eric and then Tyler was dressed like Prince Charming and Matt like Aladdin. Looking around at her friends standing there, she could see Katherine and Damon standing close to each other. Katherine was dressed like Rapunzel in her purple gown and wearing a long blonde wig that was in a ponytail that is all curled and more like a braid with flowers throughout it. Damon on the other was the funny part she could get over, he was dressed like Rapunzel's partner in his real life Flynn Rider outfit.
She could see Kol and Amanda standing to together talking, Amanda was dressed like Sleeping Beauty in her rose frost colored sleeves chiffon gown with tapered shoulder straps and a sweetheart neckline. The dress also features a draped gathered full skirt and beaded appliqués all over the bodice with a center knot detail. Amanda was wearing a long wavy blond wig with flowers throughout it with a crow that is seen in the movie. Kol was dressed like the modern version of Prince Philip.
She could also see Elijah and Elizabeth whispering to each other, it looked like they were arguing about something. Elizabeth was dressed like Princess Belle in her yellow, strapless beaded ball gown that is corseted with a sweetheart neckline and a taffeta skirt. She was also wearing a curly brown wig that was done in a half-up, half-down style and a gold headband, the famous long yellow elbow gloves. She truly looked like Belle. Elena had to laugh at Elijah's outfit; he was dressed not like the prince in the movie, but like the beast.
Hayley and Klaus were bricking about something, but Elena could not figure out what. Haley was dressed just like Mulan, but the modern version. She was also wearing a black wig that was done like Mulan's in the movie and Klaus were dressed like her counterpart. Everyone was dressed like they belonged in a modern version of the fairytale princesses.
Elena was glad when Katherine finally let them make their entrance and then she could hide off in the corner, until the girls found her and made her come dance with them. She had to admit that she had a lot of fun with the girls and dancing with Stefan. Something kept pulling her line of vision towards Damon who was across the room making out with Katherine. Part of her did not like seeing Damon that close with Katherine, but she could not understand why.
The whole night was spent dancing with the guys and the girls, and dancing with Stefan. She did not even a get a moment to speak to Damon, because Katherine was too keeping Damon occupied the whole night. Elena could see why everyone loved coming to Katherine's parties, the ballroom and whole house looked like it belonged in a fairytale and there was enough booze going around that she was betting no one remembered what they did tonight. She took pictures with the girls and Stefan. She had to admit that she was had a lot of fun that night, but she was also glad when she got to leave too. She did not understand how these kids were able to party so much and still doing good in school. She also noticed how Damon was standing away from her that night, it wasn't just Katherine keeping him busy.
November 16th
It had been a few weeks since the dances and Elena was actually enjoying her time with the girls and spending time with Stefan. Occasionally she would spend time with Damon, but most of her time had been spent with Stefan going on dates and hanging out after school. Elena had also started seeing a psychologist that used hypnotism .
Elena had lied to Jenna about going to see the psychologist, by choosing someone who did hypnotism. Ever since the incident with the lady at the little street fair, she had wondered about her dreams and things that she was thinking of. She had been going for only couple times and today was actually the day they were going to try to hypnotize her, by putting her under and seeing if she could remember anything.
She could not believe that she had talked herself into something like this, but she was wondering if maybe her psychologist could help her remember anything or help her figure out what was wrong with her. She had not told Damon about her seeing someone to help her with her dreams.
She was finally called back into the small office to where her doctor told her to lay down on the couch and that she would begin. Elena was not sure if this was actually real or not, she knew her mother believed in this kind of stuff, but she was more like her father in the sense that she had to see it to believe it. Closing her eyes, she let the doctor take her to a time or place she was not familiar with.
Elena opened her eyes to see that she was back in Pella again and not her doctor's office, but there was no one around for miles. It was like Pella was deserted and that no one had lived there. Looking around Pella, she could see a young woman walking towards her, dressed in Ancient Grecian wear. She knew who the woman was, it was Alexis, but this time she was actually looking at Alexis through her own eyes.
"Elena," Alexis said with a smile. "I was wondering when I would be able to talk to you."
"What is going on?" Elena asked while looking around the side street that looked so familiar.
"Yes this place is familiar…its where we first met Alek…the start of it all." Alexis grinned.
"I don't understand." Elena said while shaking her head in confusion.
"I understand your confused…but you must remember this place and what it means…you must remember what Mau told you…its important you remember…we're in danger."
"In danger from what and who is Mau?" Elena asked.
"She's closer to you than you think…she only wants to protect you from the one that is coming to hurt you and Alek."
"Why can't you tell me what I need to remember?" Elena asked.
"I cannot tell you anything until you remember…I'm breaking every rule by coming to you now…Mau will be so mad at me when she finds out what I have done…you must remember on your own…its important you remember this way…its away of keeping us safe…I'm a part of you that you need to remember…so I cannot tell you until you remember who Alek is."
"Please tell me something that will help me…I don't understand what is going on." Elena bit her lip and tried to stop herself from screaming.
"Aleksandar was supposed to tell us…that was his promise to us in are last life together." Elena could not understand what Alexis was talking about, about another life.
"Who is Aleksandar…I do not know any Aleksandar's…and what's this about a different life…I have only lived one." Elena shook her head in confusion.
"But you have…you need to remember those lives and you know who Alek is…my Alek will do anything to protect us and he is always close by…doing things that may confuse you…he is the one that you feel connections with and you can't understand why and he also is the one that you have already started to wonder about."
"You could be clearer." Elena shouted.
"I cannot…you know who Alek is and he will pay for not telling you...you can be sure of that…but just remember…you must find Mau," Alexis shouted back. "You are the most stubborn of my selves…now just remember." Before Elena could ask any more questions she was being brought back into the real world and Alexis was running right towards her and before she knew what was happening, it was like Alexis and her had been brought together, like they were one person again.
She gasped for air and looked up at the frightful face of her doctor.
"Oh thank God your wake…I was beginning to worry."
"What happened…did I say anything?" Elena asked while sitting up.
"I am not sure…it was like you were in a hypnosis state…but you weren't doing any of the normal things that usually happens with my patients."
"I don't understand."
"Me either," The Doctor shook her head with confusion. "I'm sorry I couldn't be any help…I am afraid to try this again…do you remember anything?"
"I don't know." Elena lied while looking down at her hands.
"The only why I can help you Elena…is if you tell me what you saw."
"I didn't see anything…it was all black…but you know about my dreams…what do they mean?" She lied to her doctor.
"In normal cases it means that someone is remembering their past lives and that they are coming through…trying to be remembered." The Doctor explained.
"What is past lives?" She asked, trying to remember what her mother had told her.
"Well in many cases it simply means that you have lived in another life or time period."
"So that could be my case?" Elena asked while biting her lip.
"Yes…that could be the case…I think you need to take some time and think about things…it may help you."
"I have tried this and nothing is helping…I can't understand why I am having these weird dreams."
"I can only tell you to remember things of your dream and then research them." The Doctor said while standing and leading Elena out to waiting room. "I wish I could help you more Elena…but I do not know if it would safe for you."
"I understand…thank you." Elena said before leaving the doctor's office and making her way to where Jeremy was waiting for her. She had not been able to drive yet. Her cast on her wrist and fingers were finally off and she was happy for that, but she had to do rehabilitation for both her ankle and wrist and she was not happy about that. She could not get over what had just happened to her, because she did not know what to think.
"So how did it go?" Jeremy asked when she got into the SUV.
"It went fine…I feel like a mental patient now that I have to go see someone…so can we please not talk about it." She begged while looking out the window.
"Sorry Lena," He said while grabbing her hand and squeezing it. "Everything will be okay…I promise."
"Thank you Jer." She said while turning to face him with a small smile. She turned back to looking out the window when she got a text from Damon.
"Are you busy?" He wrote.
"Coming back from Lynchburg…why?" She wrote back.
"I thought we could hangout."
"I suppose…but I'm not really in the mood to see anyone right now." She quickly wrote back.
"Okay." Is the only thing he wrote back and she left it at that, while staring out of the window.
They finally made it back to the house and made her way upstairs, not wanting to talk to anymore. She just wanted to be left to her thoughts; she wanted to be able to figure things out. The only thing she could think about was how her mother had research on this top of past lives, but that was still at her old house. Starting her laptop up, she began to research past lives, but nothing was telling her anything.
Finally typing in the one name she knew about, it came up with information on Audrey Céleste Dupont. The information said that she was only 18 when she got married and that her father was Louis Henri Dupont, the Duke of Brittany and her mother was Anne Colette Dupont, but there was nothing else about her. Only that she was born in Vannes, France during the winter of 1844. It also said that she had been married to Tristan De La Fontaine on October 27th 1864. She could not understand what she was finding, because that would mean that she had been alive as that person, because how could she be remembering these people. There wasn't even a picture of Audrey for Elena to look at.
She closed her computer screen quickly and made a rush down the stairs to where she told Jeremy that she would be back in a little bit. Before he could voice is opinion on the matter, she was out the door and heading towards the cemetery that wasn't that far from her new house. Finally making her way towards her parent's headstones, she took a seat in front of them and looked at the cold grey stones. She was too busy freaking out to notice someone walking towards her. She did not know that she had sat there for a good couple hours, just going over things in her head and trying to figure everything out. She looked up quickly when she heard a branch snap, looking up she could see Damon coming towards her.
"What are you doing?" She asked while standing up and dusting herself off. She stood there facing Damon and it was like something had changed. She was seeing Damon differently and it was scaring her. It was like someone uncovered her eyes, because she was seeing Tristan standing in front of her, but in Damon's body. Shaking her head and closing her eyes, she just tried to not think about anything, because she was letting her mind get a head of itself.
Opening her eyes, she could see Damon standing in front of her, but it wasn't Damon really, it was something else or someone else. Before she could think about what she was doing, she whispered, "Alek." Both her and Damon stood there frozen, not knowing what to do. She could not believe that had come out of her mouth, but in that moment she understood why. "Your Aleksandar?" Damon did not know what to do, because he could not believe what she was saying. "Please answer me." She whispered after a few minutes of silence.
"Elena." Damon whispered while coming towards her, but she backed up from him.
"Your Aleksandar…aren't you?" She asked again and this time she watched has he looked away from her. "That's why you have felt so familiar to me." She breathed out.
"Elena." He whispered again while stepping towards her, but she wasn't letting him. She stopped him with a raised hand and he began to frown.
"Please answer me…I need to know." She bit her lip and tried to keep herself from crying. He could see fear in her eyes and he did not know what to do.
"Elena…I don't know what to tell you." It took everything in him to say that.
"What do you mean…you don't know what to tell me…tell me if your Alek or not."
"I am…but I'm guessing you already know that." He glanced at her once more before taking a seat where he was standing and bracing himself up against a headstone.
"How would I know that…how are you Alek…your suppose to be Damon?" She shouted while tears ran down her cheeks. Before she knew what was happening, Damon had wrapped his arms around her shaking form.
"Elena…what else do you remember?" He asked while pulling away from her and staring down at her.
"I don't know," She cried while trying to pull away from him, because she could not understand what was going on and what she was feeling. "I see you." She whispered.
"You mean my true soul…you see the real me."
"How…what are you talking about?" She asked.
"How much do you remember?" He asked while pulling her down with him, so they were sitting side by side.
"I don't understand." She cried.
"Shh," He said while wrapping his arms around her. She melted into him and she could not understand why. She could not understand what was going on with her. "Lena…I don't know how you remembered…but what you're remembering is me from another life."
"Your talking crazy talk…that stuff doesn't exist." She tried to laugh, but it was not working.
"It does…we are living proof of it…you know those dreams you had…I remember them too…I was there with you." He hated telling her, but since she could see him, he had to come clean to her.
"What?" She shook her head and tried not cry anymore.
"Lena," He said while taking her face into his hands and staring into her beautiful brown eyes that haunted him. "Your actually Alexis Dimitriou…this is just a new life you are living…like many others that we have lived," He could still see that she did not understand what he was telling her. "You ever wonder how you knew things about the past or how you knew about people who actually existed back then…how you know things about them that only they knew." She began to cry more has she wrapped herself around him and he held her to him tightly. Something in what he had said, had broken her, because with looking up Pella and it being real and then looking up Audrey and she turned out to be a real person. Then with her seeing Alexis in her hypnosis state, she could not understand what was truly going on. She also could not believe that Damon had known all this time and had not asked or told her, only kept everything in the dark.
"You knew." She stated while pulling away and looking up at him. "You knew…and you didn't tell me or ask me."
"I couldn't," He said while holding her tightly in his arms. "You have to know that…I couldn't." He really wasn't lying, he just couldn't tell her that he had been trying to protect her and so he did not tell her.
"I don't understand…I don't understand anything anymore…this is all too weird." She wiped away at her tears and sniffled while trying to move away from him, but he was not letting her go.
"Lena…I don't know what to say…you normally took care of this…when you were Mary…I…I don't even remember how I told you." He sighed.
"What?" Her breathing was becoming rapid and she was starting not to be able to breathe and her eyes were beginning to dilate, when she went limp in his arms. He wanted to scream for someone to help him, but he knew that no one would be able to hear him. He didn't tell Jeremy that he was checking the cemetery for her, only that he would keep an eye out. Gently placing her more comfortably in his arms, he felt for her pulse and could feel has her heart thumped along; it was like music to his ears. He was glad that she was okay, but he could not understand what was going on. He could not understand how she remembered, when she had not remembered for this long. It was confusing him that she had remembered now. When she had been Mary, she began to remember and then asked him about it and he told her everything. With her now, she wasn't remembering and he was kind of hoping she would not remember. So he was confused to why she was remembering now.
New Orleans, Louisiana - July 1864
Elena stood there while watching Audrey sitting in the garden that was so familiar to her. She could not understand what was going on, everything was not normal, and not what she was use too. She watched has Audrey twiddle with her fingers and looked at the ducks on the pond. She tried to move towards Audrey, but someone grabbed a hold of her arm.
"This is only so you can watch." She heard Alexis say. "You must watch."
"What am I watching?" Elena asked while turning to face Alexis.
"Your watching our self tell Aleksandar who he really is…it can help you understand what he was talking about."
"I don't understand." Before Elena could say anything else, Alexis was making her turn around to watch Audrey explaining something to Tristan. She could over hear Audrey telling him that he was actually Aleksandar Borisov and that she was actually Alexis Dimitriou. Elena could not believe what she was hearing. 'I'm dreaming…this is not real,' she thought while closing her eyes and shaking her head no.
"Its real…why won't you believe it." Alexis shouted. "Your me…I am you."
"It's not real…stuff like this doesn't' exist." Elena shouted back at Alexis.
"Oh but it is…just like she is us." Alexis said while pointing to Audrey who holding hands with Tristan.
"No…you're just a figment of my imagination." Elena said while pulling away from her and pinching herself hard. 'I need to wake up…I need to wake up,' she chanted to herself. She pinched herself again and winced at the pain.
"Will you quit pinching yourself…that actually hurts," Alexis growled. "This is all real…we were here once," Elena just began to cry when she realized that she was not waking up. She could hear Alexis sigh loudly. "Your stressing me out…you just have to remember that you are me…I am you…and she was also us." Alexis said while looking over to Audrey.
Before anything happened, Elena was waking up and she was gasping for air. She could not breathe and she could not understand what was going on. She could see Damon above her and she could feel that he had his arms wrapped around her. He had her back resting against his chest and she was sitting between his legs.
"Are you okay?" He asked while brushing away the hair that had fallen into her face and looking down at her. He was trying to figure out what had just happened.
"I don't know." She whispered while looking up at him.
"Everything I told you is real…you have to know that…I'm really Aleksandar and you really are Alexis."
"What does this all mean?" She asked with a trembling voice.
"It means I should probably help you remember are lives together." He really did not want to help her remember, it would mean putting her in danger.
"Damon," She said while looking down at her hands that were clutching his hands tightly. "Can we not talk about this right now," She licked her dry lips and tried to think of other things, but nothing was coming to her. "I'm scared Damon." He just pulled her closer to him and propped his head up against hers, while sighing. He did not know what to do.
"There is nothing to be scared of Lena…I'll always be here to protect you." He kissed the top of her head and held her tighter. They stayed like that for a while, just holding on to each other, not knowing what the future held or what they were going to do. She also did not know how to tell him about what she had been doing with her doctor or that Alexis came to her in her hypnosis state or her dream, because she was having a hard time believing everything herself.
To all my reviewers, I know I told you that I wouldn't be updating until after February 28th, but I got all these great reviews and I just had to update. I hope this chapter these you wanting more and wondering what is going to happen, or who Mau is, because she is someone very important and someone who Elena already knows. I afraid that everyone will be mad at me for this chapter, so please if you do not like it, please no flames. I hope everyone knows that Elena won't be so close to Damon here soon, because she is going to begin freaking out and trying to disprove everything, because she doesn't know what to believe. I hope that makes sense.

Yes he remembers something from their life has Audrey and Tristan, that makes him what to protect her. I will tell you it's not Katherine coming after them, though Katherine is important too the story. She will begin to start to feel something for him now, Alexis will be coming through more often now. Since like Alexis said, she is Elena, like Elena is her. I hope that's not confusing.

Yes, Elena is going to start remembering, she just remembered something big, but I can promise you that she will try hard to disprove it and try to act like it's not real. So get ready for her wanting to distance herself from Damon in the next few chapters, because she is freaking out. I am glad you enjoyed the bed scene, I was worried about that scene. I would not let Damon and Katherine have sex, I really don't like them together. Yes, she will mad at Damon and you will see that soon.
