They gained another shard but damn if it didn't hurt.
Why did everything have to hurt?
She had a cut on her arm and a cut on her leg and it stung. There was still that lingering cold feeling no one would tell her about as well, which made it all the worst. They had been on their way to see Kouga when a shard came int view and the group got split up.
She stumbled till she found cold water. She didn't even take off her clothes she just went right in.
She rubbed her arms and her leg and watched as the blood wash away and mixed with the water. She sniffed, it hurt. Then she got a tingle down her spine.
Kagome's head snapped up and she saw a female demon looked down at her. She moved to grab her bow that was resting on her back,
"There is no need for that miko I am here just to see"
"To see?" Kagome said slowly,
"I heard my lover took a half mate I wished to see for myself"
"Lover?" Kagome questioned,
"How pitiful you are and how sad that my great Lord had to lower himself to the likes of you"
Kagome growled "He is a coward is what he is"
Her mark stung and she hissed and the female laughed "That pain you feel, it will only get worst"
Tears formed in her eyes and she clutched her neck "Screw you!"
"Oh he is"
She shiver went down her back "I don't care" She said looking down,
"No but you feel it and my girl when he marks me it will be 10 fold your pain. If you think that is bad wait to see what happens when he pups me"
The tall demoness laughed into the back of her hand "I will leave you now my dear, perhaps if you are a good girl I will aid you when I am mated and share your mark"
She left and Kagome dragged her heavy feet to the edge of the water and fell on all fours.
It hurt. All of it. Inuyasha, her wounds, her soul, her heart, the loneliness.
It all hurt. She cried.
She was so sick of crying. What did she ever do to deserve this?
Sango found her and quickly dropped her weapon and knelt down "Kagome, Kagome are you hurt?!"
"I'm always hurt" She cried now clinging to her friend.
"I am so sick of crying!" She yelled.
"Kagome?" They heard Inuyasha yelled,
"Over here!" Sango yelled back.
Her friends came rushing to her side. She looked up at their faces.
She was sick of pity too. She wiped her tears and with help from Sango, she stood.
"Kagome," Inuyasha said softly,
"I'm fine," She said hard "It's just a cut"
They say the first cut is the deepest, but all her cuts where. But at that moment she decided she was sick of the sound of her own crying, so she would cry no longer.
He may have taken her, but he was not going to rule over her.
Damn him.
"Let's find Kouga" She stated firmly.
