Jack Don't Leave Me Chapter 21
Ratchet somehow managed to clean up the med bay of the pink paint. As for himself well lets just say this he managed to get most, of the paint off of himself. But he could tell that in the nooks and crannies of his armor, that some of the paint still remained. "Oh well I tried" Ratchet said to himself as he walked to the command center. On his way there thou Ratchet could feel, the eyes of other bots laughing with glee. Walking faster Ratchet said "Not well enough." "Aw" my aching joints Jack said to himself. As he rubbed his joints sighing loudly, he then thought to himself fighting a band of rogue will do that to yeah. Suddenly Jack felt a servo slap him on the shoulder, it was another bot who asked him if he was ready to go home. Jack nodded and smiled and said he was.
Once they arrived back, as the bots descended one by one down the revolving steps. ( I am thinking of an escalator here). As they went down one by one Jack couldn't help but look at the crowd that gathered for their homecoming. Jack watched as the other bots he was with, meet up with their friends and family. Saddened by the site, Jack begins to think maybe they forgot. Suddenly Jack hears a little tiny voice say "Daddy!" Turning around Jack is suddenly knocked to the ground, by his son Prowl who has made his way through the crowd. With his little arms around his neck Prowl nuzzles his father's neck as he gets up. Chuckling Jack says "Hey little man how did you get here?" "Mommy bring me here" Prowl said. Chuckling again Jack said "You mean mommy brought you here and speaking of which where is." "Prowl where are you young man" a voice says. "Uh oh" Prowl says as he buries his face into Jack's neck. Suddenly Arcee appears "there you are" she says to Prowl. She then adds "I was wondering where you had disappeared too." Taking his face out of his father's neck, Prowl says in a tiny voice "Sorry mommy I just wanted to see daddy." "I know you did sweetie" Arcee said as she put her hand on top of Prowl's little head. She then gave Jack a kiss on the lips as her way of welcoming him home. That in turn caused Prowl to say "Eww gross." Arcee and Jack just looked at each other and laughed.
Suddenly the trio was ambushed. By their friends Bumblebee, Smokescreen, Bulkhead, and Wheeljack who had them in a bone crushing hug. Despite everything that was happening, Jack looked up from the bone crushing hug and saw Optimus nod at him and Jack just smiled in return. After a while of their little reunion. Jack somehow managed to break free, of the bone crushing hug. Saying that his shoulder was sore and he wanted to get it checked out by Ratchet. Upon hearing this the group just slightly chuckled with laughter. Ignoring them Jack went to go see Ratchet. As he made his way to the med bay, Jack heard people looking at him or he thought they were looking at him they were all whispering. A while later upon reaching the med bay. Jack enters the med bay, he says "Ratchet I would like you to check out my shoulder, since it is sore." Turning around to face the voice, Ratchet saw that it was Jack sighing. Ratchet said "Fine come here", rolling his eyes ever so slightly. As Ratchet checked out Jack's shoulder. Jack noticed that in the crevasse's of Ratchet's armor, a tint of the color hot pink you could say. He just looked at Ratchet, who was still working on his shoulder but said nothing. After Ratchet fixed his shoulder, also he was told to take it easy. Once Jack arrived home, he went in search of Arcee and Prowl. When he found them he asked them why he saw tints of pink in the crevasse's of Ratchet's armor. For the second time that day Arcee and Prowl bursted out laughing. With his patience wearing thin, Jack said with his voice slightly raised. Jack says "Would someone mind telling me what's going on !?" Their laughter ceasing Arcee and Prowl looked at eachother and then at Jack, who had steam coming out of his ears. Slowly but surely Prowl told his daddy, the plan he came up with to teach Ratchet a lesson. From getting Wheeljack to help him make some bombs filled with hot pink. To putting them up in the med bay, to setting them off. Then Arcee told Jack about discovering Ratchet who by then was covered in hot pink. To Ratchet accidently turning on the loudspeaker, so everyone could hear her Arcee, Wheeljack, and of course Prowl laughing. Once Jack heard all the details at what happened, found himself bursting out laughing. Which caused both Arcee and Prowl to burst out laughing again. So one could say the house was full of laughter.
