His Possession

- Chapter 21 -

God can give us all,

but He can take it all.

It's He's choice and no one else's.

We are all under Him.

Anger boiled in her veins. It bubbled and screamed for her to punish these vile beings for overstepping their boundaries like this. To rile her love so much that he was ready to extinct the whole of Eden.

Everyone was silently standing around the two gods. No one dared to move a muscle as they took in the sight of Sakura holding the God of Darkness in her arms. But it wasn't entirely the sight that was making them stop dead in their tracks. It was the anger that rolled from the goddess as her powers started shaking the ground under everyone's feet.

It was a scary sight, and when Sakura finally looked up at the group everyone took a step back. Her were blazing especially as she glared at Orochimaru. He still dared to have a grin on his face.

"Sakura," he chuckled, "I think you should calm down."

Sakura's glare only intensified, "I might not kill you like Sasuke would. But I will hurt you." Her words were directed to everyone in the group. Especially to Gaara. Even if the guy was already badly beaten, he wasn't getting out of this without feeling her wrath.

She was going to show all of them that she wasn't a pushover. If you hurt her, and especially if you hurt her loved ones, there was debt to pay.

Surprisingly gently Sakura lowered Sasuke's body on to the ground and stood up. This needed to be through quickly or otherwise Sasuke would wake up, and she wouldn't be able to show her powers completely to these people. For too long she's been on the sidelines, letting everyone do the work for her as she disappeared in to the shadows.

But this time, she was going to show everyone that she was back, and nothing was going to hurt her. She was going to show all of these people what it meant if you challenged a goddess of her rank.

Two angels tried to take a step back and flee, but Sakura noticed their plans right away. She was one with the nature and green vines erupted from the ground wrapping themselves around their bodies. They struggled and tried to use their knifes against the wood to no avail. Sakura's magic was much more resistant and couldn't be cut with something that was made out of ordinary metal.

"Shit." Orochimaru cursed silently and grabbed the angel standing next to him. He pulled the man in front of him before pushing him towards Sakura. It was a distraction and she saw right through it.

With a wave of her hand the man flew to the side before he was able to collide with Sakura.

Orochimaru was running through the crowd pushing everyone aside. As if Sakura was letting him run away like that. While he was passing the two angels being held down with the vines, another vine erupted from the ground making the god stumble on it. Orochimaru flew face first into the ground and twisted around. His hand slashing in an arch as a bright light cut through the vines attacking him.

He was gritting his teeth as he got up from the ground ready to run away again, but he wasn't fast enough as another vine wrapped around his leg. The rest of the crowed was in full panic mode running from side to side.

But as they tried running away more vines surrounded the place stopping everyone from moving anywhere. Each time an angel tried to fly away, more vines wrapped around them and pulled them back to the ground.

Gaara wasn't moving anywhere. He was conscious, but seemed to have succumbed to his fate much easier then the group of gods and angels he had gathered. His plan was a failure from the start and he must have been aware of it.

The chances of him winning her over like this was very minimal compared to the chances of them loosing. It was ridiculous really to even try something like this.

Even these guys fleeing was ridiculous. They were never getting out of Eden. Sasuke's shield was still very much active around the planet. There was no way out even if you were a god or not. Just succumbing to their fate was the easiest option. You couldn't outrun Sakura in her own home.

"You do know this is futile?" Sakura finally asked from the group of people trapped around her. Nearly everyone was struggling to get away or looking at her like a deer caught in a headlight.

"Let us go!" The same angel that had proposed to kill her yelled in frustration.

"None of us are getting out of here." Sakura continued and point at the sky. "Sasuke has all of us trapped here already. I can't undo his powers."

Everyone's gazes turned to the blue sky. The shield glimmered in the distance.

"What are you going to do to us!" Another angel yelled at her in anger.

Since God was no more, Sasuke and Sakura had the ultimate power. They shared the same abilities as their Creator and were able to do similar things to other beings. Sakura was going to strip everyone from their title. She was going to make them nymphs. They were going to serve their time as beings that had no privileges other than that of ordinary working people.

For an unknown time they will be forced to serve the ones higher then them until Sakura or Sasuke decided that it was time to give them back what was taken. They are not going to be able to change back themselves, but they are going to be judged by everyone when the time comes.

"From this day on, from this moment on, you're all nymphs." Sakura said with an even tone declaring her decision.

Everyone's eyes widened in shock.

"You can't do that!" Someone yelled in panic and began struggling even more.

"Sakura!" Orochimaru begged, "you don't have to do this!" His hands were bound to his sides tightly making him unable to do anything.

"You need to be punished for your actions just like the Creator would do. We can't let disarray take control of our worlds. We need order and stability to be able to lead the life forward." Sakura said and called forward her powers. First she felt tingles in her fingertips and from there they slowly spread all over her body.

The energy flowed so freely that even Sakura was surprised. But this came from her confidence. She knew what she was going to do and knew very well she had the abilities to do it.

The energy sizzled from her body all over the place. It surrounded everyone in its embrace and cause few people to struggle and fight even more. Few started yelling and shouting profanities as they felt the power surround them. No one could see it. It was invisible but it was there. It recognized its targets and enveloped them hard into its embrace.

As the power surround everyone and laid still all around, Sakura finally opened her eyes. She could feel everyone's power, their life force that kept them alive. The power that kept them as they were. She recognized the difference in every one of them. Gods and angels had different life forces. It pulsed differently and moved differently.

And as she extended the rest of her powers, calling fort everyone's life forces, slowly the forces changed shape. They molded from the strong fire blazing inside them into a small flame that flickered. It was still a life force. It kept them alive.

But it wasn't as strong.

With a groan of exhaustion the angels lost their wings that evaporated in to thin air leaving trails of white feathers everywhere. Orochimaru's body shrunk a little and he looked more frail. No other feature made anyone any different. They still had their own faces and bodies. All they lacked were the things that made them angels and gods. Sakura wasn't that cruel to strip everyone from their characteristics.

Sakura could have also easily taken their powers into her own, but instead held them in the air. All of the extra power that had shone brightly inside of everyone were there right in front of them. All of their eyes followed the floating flames that had appeared from inside their bodies and souls. Helplessly they watched as slowly they changed shape.

They molded in to beads the size of a golf ball. Every one of them were different colors and shades, separating them from each other.

"I am going to keep these safe." Sakura said more to herself than anyone. The beads floated towards her and circled around.

Finally she let go of her powers completely and the vines let go of their grip around the, now, nymphs. Everyone groaned in exhaustion. It took a tool on ones body to be stripped of their abilities.

No one made any moves to attack anyone. Few people glared at Sakura but she gave them an icy look back.

Now that all the commotion had died down, Sakura felt the presence of Ichoyo peak around the corner of her home. The woman looked unsure as she glanced around the ruined garden. Sakura's precious flowers were gone. The once colorful place looked barren and colorless. No life other than the beings that resided on it was visible. It was truly a sad sight.

"Ichoyo!" Sakura raised her voice and caught her attention.

"My Lady!" Ichoyo sprang into action and rather gracefully made her way to Sakura.

"I want you to take these people down to the basement. If they try anything, you can use the broom if you want." Sakura said and pointed at everyone. Then her eyes landed on Gaara's lying body, "Tell few girls to pick him up and tend to his wounds."

"Of course, My Lady!" The nymph nodded her head and went to shoo the people from the ground. Everyone grumbled in annoyance as they slowly gathered their weak limbs from the dirty ground.

And to Sakura's horror one man tried to forcefully grab Ichoyo, but she was able to intervene in time. She flashed right next to the man and grabbed him by the ear. He was bulky with muscles that were bigger than Sasuke's, but with ease he bend over as Sakura forcefully pulled him down.

"Do not even think about it!" Sakura almost screamed. "If any of you even try to lay a hand on her, I'm going to make you scrub the bathrooms of the Underworld for the next thousand years!"

Sakura waited patiently in her bedroom. Sasuke was moved to lay on her bed earlier from the dirty ground. He was still yet to wake up and Sakura honestly had no clue when he would. When tempering his nervous system in a stressful situation, she had no idea how much of her powers did she actually use.

He might even be asleep for the next decade if the worst scenario came true. That is something Sakura feared. Yes, she was strong and capable of taking are of all the things here herself, but the universe was a whole another thing because there was no way out.

She couldn't teleport anywhere or even try to break Sasuke's magic. The shield that was surrounding Eden was still very much there.

Tiny part of her was amazed of Sasuke's abilities. For someone to be able to keep up such a wall around an entire planet, even if they aren't conscious, was nothing less than impressive.

Sakura was leaning against the headboard of her bed doing nothing but waiting. Small shouts and talking echoed from the outside and Sakura knew that her nymphs were doing their best to put everything back into place. Sasuke had caused a lot of damage to the garden and Sakura had to plant everything all over again.

But as long as the nymphs weren't done with blowing the ground back into the holes, she wasn't able to start her next "project". And she also wanted to be there for Sasuke when he finally decided to wake up.

It was well into the next early morning when Sakura was woken up by something moving.

She crunched her brows in annoyance as she realized that it was her pillow that wasn't staying in place. Moving closer to the pillow she pulled it closer but the moving didn't stop. It took her a moment to finally open her eyes and actually see what was going on.

Her eyes landed on Sasuke's black shirt that completely covered her vision. His arm was her pillow and Sakura sprang into a seated position on the bed. Sasuke was moving!

As she took in his face Sakura was disappointed to know that Sasuke hadn't woken up. His eyes were still closed but this time he seemed to be under distress. He had a frown marring his pale skin and sweat coating his forehead.

Sakura inched closer and shook him. He continued to toss and turn for a while until Sakura gave him a harder push. Sasuke's eyes flashed open with his signature red eyes and his eyes scanned the room as if something was threatening him. His whole body was tense and ready to jump if needed. But that was until his eyes landed on Sakura's worried looking face.

"Sasuke?" Sakura asked softly when he didn't seem like wanting to say anything.

The muscle on his jaw twitched as he calmly took in her entire form.

Sakura tilted her head in confusion. What was he doing? He didn't say anything and just continued to inspect her.

"What are you doing?" Somehow he seemed very distant and Sakura didn't dare to even reach out to him.

"Was he that good?" Sasuke's words caught her by surprise.

"W-what? What are you talking about?"

Sasuke huffed visibly and turned his eyes away from her. A look of disgust appeared on his face and Sakura felt even more confused than ever.

"Sasuke?" She said his name again unsure of what was going on.

"I really have no idea what you're talking about."

"Well, where is he then?" He suddenly said, "I wouldn't have thought you to take me to your room."

Sakura shook her head, "Are you okay? What is going on?" She honestly had no idea what he was talking about. Had he hit his head at some point?

"Stop playing innocent, Sakura." Sasuke snapped and glared openly at her.

"I'm not playing innocent at all! I have no idea what you're talking about!"

"So he fucked your brains out completely then." He almost yelled back and got up from the bed.

Sakura was getting frustrated. What in the world was Sasuke hallucinating? This was absurd!

"I haven't fucked anyone!" Sakura yelled back at him while getting up from the couch. "You must have hit your head pretty badly if you think that I cheated on you!"

"Stop lying!"

"No, you stop blaming me for things that I haven't done!"

"I saw you!" Sasuke's eyes blazed with anger and resentment.

But this time all anger left Sakura and more confusion came in its place. This didn't make any sense at all.

"Sasuke, what are you talking about?" Sakura pressed more desperately.

"I saw you with him!" He yelled and pointed the bed, "I saw you right there with Gaara! Don't even think about denying it!"

"Unless I was unconscious, then I've been no where near Gaara on that bed!" Sakura shrieked. The last time she was next to Gaara was when he smashed the metal bar right into her skull. But there was no bed in sight at the time, and they were in the grand foyer.

Sasuke was breathing hard as he paced around the room. His eyes weren't leaving Sakura's body at all as if he was hunting a prey. It only made her feel more and more uncomfortable to be around him, but she had to explain her side of things.

And the more Sasuke explained what he had seen, the more Sakura understood that all of this had been part of the plot. The plot to destroy Sasuke and her. They were supposed get Sasuke so mad that he would literally lose it. Unfortunately none of them probably counted on the fact that Sasuke had great amounts of power and that Sakura was able to recover from her injury quicker than anyone else.

"Last time I saw him, he hit me with a metal bar and I woke up in my basement!"

This time it was Sasuke's turn to look confused, "What?"

"Yes!" Sakura shriek even more frustrated, "I had my own blood all over the place and my dress," she showed the blood stains since she had yet to shower at all, "is literally ruined! And my garden is destroyed thanks to those idiots and you! If you think you had a bad day then think again!

"This is literally the worst day of my life!"

"You weren't in bed with Gaara?" Sasuke asked much more softly this time.

"No! Why would I even?!"

"I thought-" Sasuke started, but Sakura stopped him.

"Well, you thought and saw wrong!" Sakura's body was shaking from the pure annoyance that had filled up her whole body. She wanted to punch something so hard that it would brake down and never be able to get fixed again. If she was a lesser god, she would have stomped her legs and jumped around like a crazy person.

But she reigned her emotions and only her shaking was visible along with the muscles of her face twitching.

This time Sasuke seemed to take Sakura in fully and his blood red eyes landed on the blood stains that covered her. The side of her face was matted with blood that had seeped almost all of her hair. She wasn't a pretty sight, but she wanted to be there when Sasuke woke up, even if she looked like someone from a nightmare.

She was so ready to lash out on him again, but this time as she opened her mouth again Sasuke's lips sealed right over them.

Did you like it? I had a little accident the other day when a heavy glass mug dropped from my dish washing cupboard right on my head. I had a huge/massive headache after that. Never would have thought that those cheap Ikea glasses would cause so much damage. I now have a bruise on my head and the glass also broke one of my favorite breakfast bowls. It was a very sad and depressing day... And nothing came on the glass. No scratch or anything. It's still as good as new.
