"Okay what gives?" Beast Boy whined, sitting in the big sofa in the common room. "I never thought that it would be so… boring without Robin!"
"Friend Beast Boy is right" Star fire said, sitting crossed legged on the floor. "Ever since Robin left, none of the villains have been out causing the torment."
"This is weird," Cyborg murmured.
"What's weird?" BB questioned.
"Well, I hacked into files containing information about Hailey's circus, and it shows no records of being bought out."
"How can that possibly be?" Star asked, very confused.
"That's because Slade was lying." Raven stated, closing her book with a loud thud.
"It also doesn't show any information concerning these Greens that Robin mentioned."
"How can that be?" Star fire asked. "They surely should possess these… records."
"Yeah," Beast Boy agreed. "I mean, if they didn't have any, they wouldn't be alive." Cyborg shook his head.
"Well, they are, but I hacked into a lot of files, and I couldn't find their social security numbers, birth certificates, passports, immigration papers… zip."
"But then how did they land a job at the circus?" Beast Boy asked.
"Well, all you need is an ID," Cyborg answered. "And anyone can fake it."
"But why would anyone not want to have a history record?" Beast Boy asked.
"Maybe because they might me working for someone," Raven stated. BB started at her
"Who?"
"Slade." Everyone looked at her as if she was crazy.
"That's crazy!" Cy exclaimed. "Why would you even think that?"
"Well, they have no identification, first off," raven answered. "Second, these acrobats just happen to show up while Slade is planning something with the circus. Lastly, Slade has his ways of influencing people." Cyborg thought this over in his head.
"Okay, then can you explain why they don't seem… alive." Raven closed her eyes for a moment, but a thought came to her. Her eyes flew open and her face was full of shock.
"Oh, my god." She breathed.
"What?" they all asked.
"They aren't human!" Raven stated, still in shock. "They're-"
