Yoh swallowed nervously as he looked over at Pyron, who was currently guarding the door to Ren and Jun's cell. He hadn't thought that there would be a werewolf guarding them. If he went any closer he'd be found and risk instant execution... but he also needed to speak to Ren. He didn't know how long it would be until the sun rose and everyone woke up, but he knew he needed to hurry.

Although, when he looked a little closer, he noticed something strange. Ren was playing with they key to the cell and grumbling as he tried to ignore the scene beside him. Yoh was in shock. Was Pyron actually... flirting with Ren's sister? The more Yoh watched, the more he began to question just what the hell was going on. Pyron was never really the type who enjoyed listening to orders, but he wouldn't actually switch sides... would he? Well, there was one way to find out.

Yoh took a deep breathe before hesitantly stepping out from behind a pillar. "H-hello?" He called warily.

Pyron instantly dropped the conversation with Jun and went back to his guarding stance while Ren hid the key to the cage under one of the chains. As Yoh came a little closer, Pyron's eyes widened slightly with recognition.

"Yoh? Why are you here?" Pyron questioned.

Yoh took another few steps forward and waited. Pyron's eyes narrowed and he sniffed the air, trying to identify the unfamiliar scent coming from from the boy. No, it wasn't unfamiliar...He did recognize it, but, no... it couldn't be.

"So, looks like the changes are mostly complete." Ren said with a smirk.

"Yoh is a vampire?" Pyron asked in surprise. "Since when?"

"I was turned shortly before Horohoro and I were taken from the castle... It's just taken until now for the changes to show." Yoh replied.

"Oh. Horohoro's going to be so pissed when he finds out." Pyron sighed.

Yoh shifted his gaze slightly.

"Wait... He already knows? Don't tell me he switched sides too?" Pyron exclaimed.

"No. The idiot prince just made a temporary agreement not to tell about us for Yoh's and his sister's sake." Ren replied.

"His sister's sake?" Pyron questioned.

"I'll tell you once we get to the castle. For now, it's time for us to make our leave." Ren said as he unlocked the cage door.

"Wait. Didn't you just say that you were going to stay here until your friend contacted you?" Pyron asked curiously.

"Yea. I'm confused about all this too. What's going on?" Yoh said.

"Oh? Hao didn't tell you? Before we came here, he told me that if you ever came to contact me I was to take you and get the hell out of werewolf territory. My task is to take you back to the castle and make sure you don't leave until he returns." Ren said simply.

"But what about Hao?" Pyron asked worriedly.

Ren smirked as he grabbed Yoh's hand and began leading him down the hall. "Pyron, Hao isn't some newly changed like you all were led to believe. He's the vampire king. He can take care of himself."

Hao waited patiently for the next guard to arrive. The guards had switched twice since Yoh left, yet not one of them even inquired about his disappearance. Not only that, but he was still waiting for the right time to leave the tent. He intended to leave some time before noon, but when that time was exactly he hadn't made up his mind yet. He frowned slightly as he looked up at the roof of the tent. This was getting boring.

Instantly upon arrival, the new werewolf guard looked inside the tent and barked. "Oi. Vampire. Where's Yoh?"

"He said that he was homesick and went to go see his parents. It should be fine, shouldn't it? You were really only supposed to guard me anyways." Hao said halfheartedly.

The werewolf snorted as he pulled his head back out of the tent and stood outside the entrance, seeming satisfied with the answer provided.

"I suppose you're right. Honestly, it made me sick seeing him stuck in the same tent as you. Yoh is a good kid, he's got a pure soul, I didn't want to see you corrupting him or anything. Now I suppose I don't have to worry about that." The guard laughed.

'Corrupting him? Bit late for that. Though... I suppose I could have done worse... Actually, now that I think about it, the only time I've ever kissed him was when I turned him. I think I'll have to change that once I get back... Looks like there's still more corrupting to do.' Hao thought with a smirk.

"Thanks." Hao said suddenly.

"Huh? For what?" The guard growled.

"You just gave me an idea." Hao replied happily.

"Oh hell no. Absolutely not. There will be NO ideas. Prisoner ideas always mean trouble for me and I will not stand for it!" The guard snapped.

"Come on. It's not like I can actually do anything, right?" Hao said as he peeked out of the tent. "Not when such a strong werewolf is guarding me."

The guard blushed slightly. "I-I suppose not. I am pretty strong after all." The guard said confidently.

'He's full of himself.' Hao thought.

"Ne? Would you be kind enough to talk to me for a bit? Since Yoh went back home I've got nothing to do." Hao sighed.

"Hm, alright. It's pretty boring just guarding you anyways." The guard said thoughtfully.

"So, how's it like here? Is this a good kind of place to raise a family?" Hao asked curiously.

"Not really, but we don't have a choice in the matter, we've got to stay close to our queen, you know? Sigh... My wife complains about it a lot though. She says it's not a good place to be raising our daughter and I don't blame her. Too much drama." The werewolf replied.

"You have a daughter? What's she like?" Hao asked curiously.

"What she's like is none of your business. I know how you teenage boys think and you are not getting anywhere near her." The guard stated firmly.

"I was just curious. Don't worry, I've already got someone I'm infatuated with and I have no intention of chasing after others." Hao said simply.

"Oh? So you're the loyal type? I never would have thought. I suppose my daughter's too young for me to be worrying about boys just yet anyway. Her name is Rutherfor and just last week she turned ten. She's a little angel I tell ya, really shy. She always keeps these two feathers in her fluffy black hair, they look like wings some times I swear." The guard said.

"I'll bet." Hao said with a smile.

"Oi. Your shift's over. Time to get back to the main camp. They're having the big meeting in three hours." Another werewolf barked.

The guard nodded and quickly ran to the camp, leaving the new guard to watch Hao.

"So, what's this big meeting supposed to be?" Hao asked curiously.

"I suppose you could say it's the meeting to decide your execution date." The werewolf chuckled.

"What do you mean?" Hao asked curiously.

"We know those vamps were lying about you. At noon Lady Jeanne will prove it and then that's the end for the lot of you." The werewolf sneered.

Hao's eyes widened slightly and he walked out of the tent, ignoring the werewolf's growl as he did so. If what the guard said was true, then now would be the perfect time to make his leave. But first, he needed to get rid of this... distraction. Before the werewolf had a chance to react, he moved behind it and twisted it's head to the side, causing it's neck to make a sickening snap. The wolf fell to the floor and he smirked as he glanced down at the corpse before him.

"So, little Jeanne understood my message after all. Thanks for letting me know."

Lyserg: What's with her?

Ren: She has an idea for something but is to tired to do it.

Lyserg: Why not just do it tomorrow?

Ren: Because she'll forget what it was by then.

Lyserg: Can't she just write it down?

Ren: She'll forget it if she tries to write it down.

Lyserg: How do you know all of this?

Ren: I asked her the exact same questions ten seconds ago.
