Epilogue: Five years later
I'm sitting in the middle of my field, and the warm summer breeze blows around me. I smile to myself. Although I can't hear the wind blow, I can sure feel it.
'Jill?' Skye signs. 'You ready go beautiful?' He's holds our four year old daughter Marie, whose grinning widely at her father. Marie is so obviously a daddy's girl, and although I get jealous sometimes, I can't blame her. I'm under Skye's spell just as much as she is.
I stand up and dust the dirt off the bottom of my pants.
'Of course,' I sign, and I lean over to kiss Marie's forehead.
We begin our walk, holding hands, smiling slightly.
'Mama,' Marie signs after tapping my shoulder to catch my attention. 'Where going?'
'Somewhere special.' My hands say dramatically, and I see her mouth open, and her eyes widen, a sure sign that she's laughing. The walk isn't a long one, but we take our time. When we reach the end of the path, we begin to point out various sights to Marie, and she looks around, taking it all in. After all, this is her first time in Mineral Town.
When we get to the beach, I pull a blanket out of my rucksack and spread it on the soft sand. We sit, and I don't sign or say anything for a long time. Finally, I start talking.
"Let me tell you a story Marie." I begin, and the look of excitement she always gets when I talk fills her face. "A story about a girl with long blonde hair who your mama loved very much." Skye smiles a sad smile, and Marie looks from me to her father. When I don't say anything for a while, I see Marie lips say,
"Who was she Mama?" I look at my husband, who after all these years convinced me to tell a story I swore I'd never tell. Who always saw the best in me. Who convinced me to love myself. And because I finally did, I was confident I could teach my daughter to, and I would start by telling her a story about a girl who never did.
"Once upon a timeā¦."

A.N. I know I know. It's been a long time, and this ending came out of no where. I really wanted to do more with this story, but it's been so long and it just felt weird. So instead, you get this random, fluffy epilogue. Hope you liked it and the rest of the story. Looking back, I noticed a lot of mistakes and poor writing, so thank you for sticking with me through that. In other news, the next novel in the senseless series is also out today, and I hope you guys like that one as much as this one. Plus, a have a story called The Bar out too, so check is out if you wanna. Thanks so much dor reading! Please review!
