HI! IT'S BEEN TWO MONTHS I'M SORRY BUT I'VE BEEN SO BUSY. HIGH SCHOOL STARTED AND UGH ITS ALL SO CRAZY!
How has everyone been? Okay, I know a lot of people have forgotten about me. I've forgotten about me myself. But I felt super committed to finishing and I know that the story will probably not last more than 30 chapters. There you have it.
Recently I've been jamming to High School Musical songs. Weird, right?
So, I'm thinking of doing a Disneyland chapter. What do you guys think? I'd appreciate feedback on this topic, or feedback in general.
At long last, enjoy.

Throughout the duration of the next day, I could not stop thinking about the IRL video we were going to film. I mean, we had planned a fun-filled day at the California Science Center, but my mind was constantly on how stupid I would look on film.
We woke around eight, and for once, all of the guys were up. Jason was in the kitchen putting away the dishes, Quentin sat on the couch with his laptop, Ty, Jerome, and Adam sat around the table chatting and on their phones, and Ian and Mitch were near the door, debating about where to eat.
After greeting everyone, I joined Jason in the kitchen. "Need any help?"
He smiled. "No thanks, I've got it under control." He closed the dish washer and the cabinet, rinsing off his hands. "You ready to go?"
I nodded, checking my phone for texts from anyone. I had called my parents and Tanner as I got ready, and they both had seemed happy to hear from me. My heart still beat frantically in my chest when Tanner told me he loved me… God was I obsessed with that boy.
"Alright," Mitch called from the door. "Lego!"
We piled into the car. This time, Ian drove, and Mitch sat shotgun. I sat in the second row with Adam. Jason sat with Quentin behind us, and Jerome sat with Ty in the back row.
"We're heading to Square One for breakfast," Ian announced, pulling out of the driveway.
"Yes!" shouted Jerome. I turned backwards, my gaze questioning.
"They have some of the best breakfast food in LA," Adam explained. "Jerome nearly spent sixty on his food last time we went."
"Hey, hey, hey… It was good food!"
I smiled as they argued, and Jason joined the discussion as well. I pulled out my video camera and began filming the streets as we drove towards East Hollywood. Jason, Quentin, Ty, and Jerome started talking in hushed voices. When I turned towards them accusingly, Jason threw up his arms. "It's about the video we're gonna film. It's a secret for now."
I rolled my eyes, turning back to Adam as he asked me about my friends.
We finally pulled into a parking lot. Ian ushered us out, and I gathered my things and hopped out of the van. It was a quite walk in the morning sunshine to get to Square One. There was a small crowd outside, and Adam walked in to make a reservation. I stood outside with Quentin and Ty, taking pictures of the restaurant and the surrounding area. Ty smirked at me, calling me "such a tourist."
"I know," I replied, grinning as I took another shot.
After about a fifteen minute wait, there was finally an open table. We all sat around it since it was a simple eight-seater. I sat at the edge of it, next to Ty. The waitress handed us menus and offered to take drink orders. Jerome and Ian asked for milk, Ty asked for coffee, and the rest of us ordered orange juice. A few minutes later, a waiter came back with our drinks.
I began to look over the menu. Jerome and Adam were discussing the bacon grits, which apparently was very delicious. Across the table, Quentin was murmuring that he was thinking of ordering the breakfast burrito. After reading everything, I decided that I was going to order the brioche French toast with caramel citrus and bananas, which is what Ty was recommending to me.
I took a sip from my juice as the lady came to take our order. Ty and Mitch were getting the same thing as me. Quentin was getting the breakfast burrito with a side order of scrambled eggs. Jerome and Adam got the bacon grits and were splitting an egg benedict. Jason and Ian were getting salmon benedicts.
As we waited for our food, Ian remarked that he wanted to hear the entire story behind my boyfriend. The food took a good twenty minutes to make, so I filled most of the time exaggerating my love life. They all seemed genuinely interested though, so I assumed it was amusing.
The food was absolutely delicious. We gobbled it down without a second's hesitation.
"I would spend sixty dollars on food from here too," I told Jerome with a wink.
Once again, I offered to pay the bill, but the boys paid instead. I left the tip though.
We piled into the van, and Ian sped towards the science center. I hopped excitedly from the van nearly raced towards the building. The others just chuckled in amusement.
Mitch bought the tickets, stating it was his treat. We all thanked him.
"So, where do you want to go?" Jason asked.
"Anywhere," I replied. "Let's do something."
The eight of us spent four hours racing from exhibit to exhibit, laughing and taking pictures the entire time. I took several minutes of footage via my video camera, and also took lots more pictures on my phone. We spent a little while browsing the Pompeii exhibit, looking at the relics and the models. I begged the group to spend over an hour at the ecosystems area, with live animals, touch pools, aquarium tanks, and other interactive exhibits. We looked at human innovations and visited the Science Plaza. There was so much to do, and not enough time.
I probably could have spent the entire day there had I not heard the loud rumble of Ty's stomach.
"Shit…" he muttered, frowning. "Has it really been that long since we've eaten?"
"It's been a little over four hours," Ian replied.
"I don't know if it's just me, but I could really use some McDonald's," Jason added.
"I'm down for McDonald's," I said with a smile.
We took a group picture by the entrance and thanked the random woman who took it. After a quick McDonald's run, during which Ian bought a little bit of everything and a lot of fries, we returned to the house starving. Jerome dragged the packages of food to the dining table, and after dropping my phone and my camera in my room to charge, I scurried down the stairs and made a beeline for the table. The others were already chowing down as I grabbed a hamburger from one of the packages. I leaned against the back wall, watching everyone else eat.
Adam was the first to finish. After wiping his mouth with a napkin and washing his hands in the kitchen sink, he disappeared upstairs. I listened to Quentin and Jason argue about McDonald's attempts to create healthier meals and made a few comments. I finished my hamburger and snacked on some of the fries, letting them finish the rest of the food. I went into the fridge and helped myself to a glass of water.
Footsteps could be heard as Adam made his way downstairs, waving a video camera in the air. "Alright, who's ready to film?"
My heart began frantically beating in my chest as he said those words. I nearly choked on my glass of water. The others chatted excitedly as they cleared off the table, washing their hands and wiping their mouths. I ran upstairs to make myself look presentable, as did everyone else. Adam was done already, and he set up the camera to view the couch in the lower level. I took a deep breath as I stared at myself in the bathroom mirror before washing my face. I brushed my teeth and fixed my hair. However, I was still exceedingly nervous, and I needed someone to be there for me.
So I called Tanner.
"Hey, Ryah."
I smiled as I heard his voice. "Hey."
"What's up?"
"I'm super nervous and I needed someone to talk to."
"Why? Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, yeah no. Everything is fine. I'm just about to film a video though… And I don't know. It's nerve wracking."
He laughed a little. "Don't worry. You can't be as huge a screw up as me."
"Why?" I said with a quiet giggle.
"Well, one time I tried to get you flowers but I left them in my parent's car and by the time I remembered… they were dead."
I laughed. "I haven't heard that one before."
"Yeah, well…"
"I really wish you were here," I said with a sigh. "I really miss you, and I know it's been less than a week but still."
"I know. I miss you too. I'll come see you as soon as you get back. Who knows? Maybe I'll even hop on a plane and meet you."
"I wish."
I heard voices calling my name, and while butterflies still flit about in my stomach, I wasn't nearly as nervous as I had been before.
"You have no idea how much talking to you helped me."
"Hey, sometimes you don't realize how amazing you actually are. Being one of these people changed you. It turned you into the beautiful, confident girl that I'm falling more and more in love with every day."
I blushed, even though he was thousands of miles away. "Yeah, thank God I met these people, otherwise I would've never met the most amazing boy I've ever known."
I could practically imagine his smile. "I love you Ryah, okay? Knock em dead."
"I will. I love you too. Thanks. I mean it."
"Alright. Good luck."
I hung up, plugging it back in. After a final glance in the mirror, I opened my door and walked downstairs.
"Jesus, we were wondering where you were!" Jason exclaimed from where we was waiting by the stairs for me.
"I'm terrified," I confessed.
He laughed. "I was terrified the first time too. Don't worry, it only gets better and more natural from here on out."
Jason led me to the couch downstairs, were Adam and Mitch were adjusting the camera angle. The others sat on the touch. Ty was on his phone, fiddling with his hair. I took a deep breath before joining everyone at the edge of the couch. Quentin motioned towards him, and I smiled shyly before taking my place at the center of the couch.
"Don't be nervous," he said, noticing my anxious face. "You look great."
"Thanks," I said, turning my attention to the camera. Adam and Mitch had finally come to a consensus about the angle. Adam made his way to the couch, and Mitch hastily hit record. He sat on the opposite side of me, so I was in the center of a Team Crafted sandwich.
"Three, two, one…" Mitch whispered. "Hey, what's going on doods? It's Mitch, or BajanCanadian, and today I am here with the rest of Team Crafted!"
"Hey!" said the others guys.
"I'm sure you doods have noticed by now, but we have a very special guest here today. Please welcome Anna-Ryah!"
He looked at me, and I felt newfound confidence flow through me. "How's it going nerds? It's Ryah here, and, well, a lot of you know me already. I make Minecraft videos with other YouTubers, and I've only had my channel for a handful of months, but somehow my subscriber count has escalated."
"She's visiting us in LA, so we thought we'd do a video," said Mitch. "We are going to be doing a Q and A."
"We asked you to tweet us your questions under the hashtag 'AskRyah and we got a ton of questions," said Jason. "So, we're going to pick a few."
Quentin handed Ian his phone, and Ian began scrolling. "Alright, question one: how did you choose your username?"
I laughed. "I was young and foolish. I had just started playing Minecraft, and I really couldn't think of anything. It's stupid."
"It's not that stupid," Jason said. "I mean, who comes up with a name like Deadlox?"
"Hey hey hey," Ty said, staring him down. "What kind of name is TrueMu?"
"Question two!" interrupted Ian. "How did you meet Ryah?"
I looked at Adam, smiling. "Well, Adam was visiting my hometown and had car problems. It just happens that my dad is a car mechanic, and I recognized him instantly. I was an obsessive fangirl, so of course I knew what he looked like."
"Which brings me to questions three: why wasn't Sky afraid of recording with an obsessive fangirl?"
"Well, because we had already met in real life," Adam said. "It's a different thing when you're recording with a fan you've never met outside of the internet. Since I sort of got to know Ryah when her dad was helping me, she seemed cool. Plus, I kind of owed her family a favor."
"And also because Adam loves strangers," said Jerome.
"Ooh, this one is addressed to all of us!" exclaimed Ian. "What is it like having Ryah stay with you guys in LA?"
"Cool," said Jerome. "We got to eat at my favorite breakfast spot this morning."
"I got to throw her into a hot tub," Jason said, turning to me with a smirk.
"We're planning on going to an amusement park or something," said Quentin. "I'm excited for that."
"So overall, it's been amazing," Ian said with a smile. "Why hasn't Ryah posted any videos yet?"
My stomach clenched in fear. I just realized: I had never posted a video. I had never appeared online. Now, everyone at school would know who I was.
I quickly swallowed the thought. "Well, mostly because in real life, I'm really shy. I don't know many people, and many people don't know me. I'm not super confident in my abilities, but I'm planning on editing my trip footage into several vlogs to post as my first videos."
"Are you ever going to facecam?"
"I don't know. Maybe? I need to start posting videos first." I laughed.
"Single or taken?"
I smiled, thinking of Tanner. "Taken. Hands off, perverts."
The boys laughed. "She calls him sexy every time she talks about him," Jason whispered loudly. I rolled my eyes.
"When you did that intro, why did you call us nerds?"
I frowned, looking at the ceiling. "I really don't know. It's just what I do, like how Mitch calls everyone doods."
"Favorite member?"
"Do I really have to answer that?"
"Yes," they all said in unison.
"Well… Idk, I guess… WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME DO THIS? I CAN'T PICK!"
"We won't get offended," Quentin said.
"I know, but still."
"Alright, next question. Oh yay, this one is for all of us too! What was your honest first impression of Ryah?"
"Well, since I met her in real life, she was another crazed fangirl to me," Adam said. "But a pretty polite one, not too clingy."
"She seemed really nervous," said Mitch. "Deathly nervous." I laughed.
"She was really polite and respectful, like Adam said," said Jason.
"I thought she was out to get Preston," Jerome said, making us chuckle. "If you guys haven't seen the video, link will be in the description."
"She kind of just sat back and let us take the reins," said Quentin.
"I thought she was cool," said Ian.
"She knew Minecraft really well," said Ty.
"Okay, final question: what do you see in the future for your channel?"
"Well, I'm hoping to start posting videos soon. I also want to expand my contacts and my circle of friends. I want to grow in confidence and produce content that I'm proud of. As long as that happens, subscriber count doesn't really matter to me." I smiled.
"Okay, well… We have a surprise for you," Jason said. My eyebrows shot up in surprise.
"You have been a big part of our lives for a little while now, and we believe you have a lot of potential. And with that…" Ty reached behind the couch to grab a large, wrapped object, handing it to Jason.
I gasped. "Oh my God, you did not." I began unwrapping the object, and discovered it was a large plaque.
And I read it, and my jaw dropped.
"Congratulations, Ryah. You are an honorary member of Team Crafted."
I wanted to squeal, but I just made a small sound of surprise. "Oh my God! Thank you guys so much!" I tucked the plaque under my arm and gave each of the boys hugs. After I had done my round, I sat back down, staring at the plaque. "This cannot be real right now…"
Jason laughed. "And with that, that is all we have planned for today. We'll see you guys later!"
We all waved frantically at the camera, and as soon as Ian got up to turn it off, I hugged everyone again. "This is so amazing. This cannot be happening. Oh my God, oh my God…"
"You deserve it," said Jason, a twinkle in his eyes. I smiled, wrapping my arms around him and pulling him in a hug.
Well, that's chapter 21! Hope you guys enjoyed it. If you did, please review, follow, and favorite! It's encouragement to write quicker. Until we meet again, see ya!
