"Ms. Benson-" Elliot started.
"Don't even talk to me." Olivia gritted out before walking up to Katie and picking her up. "C'mon, sweetie.
John furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Elliot. "What did you do?"
Elliot's jaw dropped. "Why do you assume it's something I did?"
"Because, my friend, you are the biggest fool when it comes to Ms. Benson." John stated patting his shoulder. He looked over at the magazine rack and grinned. "Oh God! Looks like you and Ms. Benson made headlines."
Elliot followed John's gaze and found him and Olivia on almost every magazine cover. He started reading some of the titles for the stories. "Widower Moves On to Nanny? Naughty Nanny Catches Famous Producer? First Woman for Elliot Stabler since Wife Besides Transgender Partner?" He looked at John. "Did you have anything to do with this?"
"I might have gotten a call when we were waiting to board the ship." John shrugged before grabbing another magazine. "Wedding Bells for the Producer?"
"What?!" Elliot shouted looking at the magazine. People around them went silent as they stared at him. "Sorry." He looked back at John. "What are we going to do? Ms. Benson is going to see this. Her mother is going to see this! I don't want to get married."
John rolled his eyes. "I doubt Ms. Benson is all that crazy about you right now. Relax. I'm sure she's not going to think anything of it."
Olivia walked up with Jamie and the boys, holding the magazine about wedding bells. "What's going on?"
"I've been wrong before." John mumbled before taking Katie from Olivia. "I'll get them some donuts or something from the coffee shop." He went with the boys over to the shop where Alex was already nursing her third coffee.
"Look, Ms. Benson, they made this story up." Elliot said trying to explain.
"I know they did, but I didn't think they would jump right to wedding bells. There's only two people I know who would believe this to the letter." Olivia said before tossing the magazine onto the counter next to her. "And, you are going to explain why it isn't try to them."
Elliot furrowed his eyebrows. "Why is it my job?"
Olivia smirked. "Because, I said so. My mother and Casey have already been calling me non stop. This is your problem, not mine. My mother is already trying to get a hold of NBC to get on a late night show to talk about how we are madly in love and are planning our wedding for this upcoming fall."
"Well, she's crazy." Elliot stated.
"You don't get to say that." Olivia growled at him before starting to walk away.
Elliot chuckled in frustration. "Why? You say she's crazy all the time."
Olivia looked at him over her shoulder. "She's my mother. I have the right." She turned and headed back towards the coffee shop.
"So, you aren't marrying my daughter?" Sonya asked looking between Elliot and Olivia on the couch. It had been a week since they had gotten off the cruise and Sonya had been getting a hold of every reporter she could.
"No, the person that wrote that article said allegedly like fifteen times." Elliot stated pointing to the magazine. Olivia slapped his arm. "Sorry, although your daughter takes care of my children and I don't know what I'd do without her, we are not getting married.
Olivia rolled her eyes. "You really cannot let her down, can you?" She stood up when Casey walked in from the dining room, eating pancakes that John had made. "Case, did you get that sweater that I wanted you to get?"
Casey nodded and grabbed a bag from the table. "Yeah, we can go look at it now." They both hurried upstairs, leaving Sonya and Elliot alone.
Sonya stared at Elliot. "I would smack you if if you weren't going to marry my daughter someday." Elliot threw his arms up in the air before getting up and going to his office.
"I just don't understand how this could happen." Casey stated watching Olivia pace in front of her.
"It's simple. Mr. Stabler and I had sex and I was stupid enough to forget everything." Olivia explained running her hands down her face. "What am I going to do? Mr. Stabler got mad at me for buying Katie a lamp. What is he going to think when I tell him I'm carrying his child?"
"Calm down!" Casey said standing up and hugging her friend. "We don't even know if you're pregnant. Let's just wait for the pregnancy test results and then we can figure out what you can do after that."
Olivia sighed and hugged herself. "What if I am pregnant and he doesn't want it? I'll be a single mom raising my boss's baby. I can't even imagine what he is going to do when I tell him."
Casey moved Olivia's hair behind her ear. "You may not even have to tell him. What if you aren't pregnant?"
"I'd feel guilty for not telling him we might have been having a baby." Olivia stated wrapping her arms around Casey's waist and resting her head on his shoulder.
Casey rolled her eyes. "You two had sex. He should know there's the possibility of you getting pregnant. It might've been slim, but it was there. You guys had sex once. That can get you pregnant."
Olivia bit her lip. "It might have been more than once."
"How many?" Casey asked furrowing her eyebrows.
"For me, eleven. For him, seven." Olivia said nervously.
Casey's eyes widened. "He's that good?"
Olivia groaned and whined. "He was phenomenal!"
Casey shivered. "Gross! I always thought he would be one of those guys that's super gentle and overly sensitive in the bedroom."
"He's like an animal. It was such a turn on. He did oral and finger before even going for the goal." Olivia stated.
"You lucky, lucky nanny." Casey said shaking her head.
Olivia nodded and dropped onto her bed right before the timer went off. "I'm too scared to look."
Casey went over to the pregnancy test and looked at it before looking at the box. She stared at her friend for a moment before sighing. "I'd start by looking at diapers." She watched as Olivia teared up before curling into the fetal position. "Come here." She breathed before sitting down on the bed. Olivia sat up and wrapped her arms around Casey's torso before sobbing quietly. "Shh, everything will be okay. I promise."
Alex walked into Elliot's office holding a stack of magazines in her arm. "Elliot, what is going on with you and Ms. Benson? Every news stand in the city is selling out these magazines. I was lucky to get some of them."
"People are just jumping to conclusions. Ms. Benson and I dated for a couple hours on the cruise if you even want to call it that. We broke up after she bought Katie that lamp." Elliot explained.
"I told her that you would get mad." Alex said shaking her head.
Elliot's eyes widened. "You knew I would?"
Alex shrugged. "Yeah, I can't even buy them things at Christmas because you won't let me, not that I would if I could."
Elliot ran his hands down his face. "She was right. I overreact to these kind of things."
John walked in. "We just spent a week with you on a ship where we couldn't escape. Can't you give us a break?"
"Why don't you just zip that trap and fix my door?" Alex smirked at him. John's face turned red before he backed out of the room.
