A/N: Hey guys! First of all, I'd just like to say that I'm so sorry for the ridiculous length of time between updates. I know it's been way too long but life has just been incredibly busy for a long time. I will upload the last chapter tonight right after this one so you can at least enjoy the ending and I am currently, albeit very slowly, working on the second movie, so that will be posted eventually. Be sure to follow me so you will be notified of the next story when it comes along! It will be better than this story because I'm now a more advanced writer since I initially wrote this story four years ago.

On a final note before the story continues, I'd just like to thank all of my devoted readers who haven't given up on me and give a shoutout to my sisters Wookie3 and Revenger's Sister for bugging me to update as much as possible. Love you girlies! Thanks for putting in the effort!

Let us begin.

Chapter 21: Treasure

Jack was celebrating Barbossa's death by looking through more of the treasure in the cave to keep for himself. I decided to do the same thing. After about 10 minutes, Jack turned to me, remembering something.

"You took one of the coins, didn't you, Valley?" Jack asked me, no emotion in his voice.

"Why?" I asked. He looked at me, then pulled back my black waistcoat to examine the damage. He sighed in relief when he found none.

"Don't do that to me again, Valley," he said. "I thought you died when that bastard stabbed you."

"Gosh, you sound so much like Dad," I told him. He looked down.

"I want to go visit him soon. I haven't seen him in ages, and you haven't seen him for longer than me. I miss him, Jack," I told him. He pulled me in for a hug.

"I'm going to go help Chels, she seems to be in a bit of pain," he said when he pulled away. He walked off to Chelsie and I followed.

She was sitting on a rock with Indiana and Zuri on either side of her. Indiana was dipping a rag into the water and wiping the big cut on Chelsie's face, trying not to make her cringe. We walked up to them, and Jack crouched down in front of her while I stood behind him, watching.

"Here, let me do it, Indie," he murmured quietly. Indiana moved out of the way and gave the rag to Jack. He took her spot on the rocks and started cleaning the cut.

The situation looked pretty much under control, so I went and looked for more treasure. I found a gold crown with jewels in it, a large necklace made of gold and diamonds, and a silver ring with skulls on it and a blue topaz gem inside it.

"We should return to the Dauntless," Elizabeth said, her words echoing through the cave. I turned around, thinking she was talking to all of us, to see Will standing next to her. They seemed to be having a private conversation, or at least they were trying to.

"Your fiancé will be wanting to know you're safe," Will said. Elizabeth turned away from him.

Jack finished cleaning up Chelsie's injuries and helped her up. The pain in her leg would have started to intensify by now, so she wouldn't be able to walk properly. Indiana helped her, too. They started walking towards the exit of the cave, which was right next to me.

"If you were waiting for the opportune moment...that was it," Jack said to Will. "Now, if you'll be so kind, I'd be much obliged if you'd drop us off my ship."

But when we exited the cave, the Pearl was nowhere to be seen. We silently got into a boat that had been left behind by the pirates that we had killed, and Will started rowing us to the Dauntless.

"I'm sorry, Jack," Elizabeth said.

"They done what's right by them. Can't expect more than that," Jack replied glumly, not making eye contact with anyone.

"You, too, girls. I hope your cuts heal soon, Chelsie," Elizabeth told us. Chelsie nodded her head as thanks.

No one else talked as we made our way to the Dauntless, to face our fates that awaited us in Port Royal.
