Author's Notes: Got nothing to say right now. See yah's next week.
A cloud of dust streaking across the desert landscape was suddenly halted. This is because the cause, one Gill Guy, had suddenly been stopped very much against her will. The cause? Masunu one of the Genin who had been unwillingly tied to the hyperactive Jonin for the past week had finally managed to find a foot hold to stop her with.
"Who's holding us up!?" A extremely irritated Gill asked having stopped running and turned to face the team.
"Ask Masunu, he's the one yanking on our chain." A scared Takishi stated pointing at her team-mate.
"Look at what I stopped us with!" Masunu barked pointing down at the picked corpse of a giant scorpion that had been pinned to the ground via wooden stake, next to a series of train tracks. "They laid tracks through here! Which means that there's only two possible directions that they could have gone." First Masunu pointed down one end of the tracks. "One side leads back to Konoha." Then Masunu pointed down the other end of the tracks. "And the other leads to the prison which has been taken as a enemy base. Even though we don't know where team Yamato is, we know that they're going to storm the base in a bit. So if we go there and wait for them, then we'll be able to meet up with them while they're on their way back to the prison." Masunu stated, a hint of joy at this hellish mission almost being over in his voice.
"Excellent suggestion Masunu!~" Gill stated in her usual over excited tone of voice before donning a perplexed look. "Now which way is the prison?"
Suddenly Tarou and Momo started to act weird, gluing their noses to the direction of one of the train tracks was going with a pleasant smile on their faces.
"Grannies Bakery's Cinamon buns!~ They got a fresh rack out cooling!~" Tarou stated happily with both his and Momo's noses in the air.
"Wow the Inuzuka's noses are truly terrifying." Takishi stated with a look of utter shock on her face.
"It's more likely a combination of the sense of smell of the Inuzuka's, the fact that Tarou hasn't had anything sweet to eat in over a week and most importantly..." Masunu held his spit covered finger in the air as he tested what direction the wind was coming from. "The head winds that are coming off of Konoha right about now. That's where Konoha is..." Masunu stated pointing to the direction that Tarou had dazed off to. "So that's where the prison is." Masunu stated pointing in the opposite direction.
"Then lets go!~" Gill stated before she ran off again forcibly making her Genin run with her, therefore ending their brief moment of peace, quiet, sweat smelling air and most importantly, rest.
Atsuko obliterated a trio of targets using water styled gentle fist, followed by a short jump for joy as she mastered her third chakra Nature. "I did it!" Atsuko joyously stated while she jumped into the air.
"Three down, two left to go." Yamato stated, with a bit of pride.
That honey salve Shiro had been using on Yamato really was working miracles, all but the most severe of the burns were already healed, though the bulk of the healing could probably be attributed to Yamato's strong life force which had simply been augmented by the honey salve.
"Yamato Sir, did we send Kenta out to get more scorpions again?" Shiro stated working the group's telescope.
"What are you talking about!?" Yamato jumped up to the wall and looked through the telescope as a Shiro moved out of the way. Through it Yamato saw a huge dust cloud tear across the desert towards the prison. "They sent her to help us? Are they mad!? Who the Hell sends Gill Guy to bring someone back alive!?" Yamato stated recoiling from the telescope in true shock and horror.
"Well that's comforting, Atsuko's toad did tell them that we escaped the prison right?" Shiro asked, looking slightly confused about the situation.
"It doesn't matter with that mad woman! Her brain doesn't function properly! She is seriously, physically incapable of following even the simplest of orders!" Yamato stated, looking like he was on the verge of a melt down.
"Surely you jest?" Shiro asked looking mildly amused, for him that is.
"Shiro, from our current co-ordinates how far away is Konoha?" Yamato asked, having suddenly developed a nervous twitch in his eye.
At Yamato's words Shiro took out a number of maps, at least one was star maps and the others maps of the area's stretching from the desert all the way to Konoha.
"According to my calculations, assuming that she followed the trail of corpses and train tracks we left behind... Five days ago." Shiro stated, now growing concerned.
"Mmhm. Thought so." Yamato stated grinning in satisfaction.
"Hold on it's entirely possible that she was sent to eliminate the ones occupying the prison and a medical team is being sent for us." Shiro stated calm and logically.
"Oh really..." Yamato stated looking into the telescope again before he moved back to let Shiro look into it. "Then I take it that is the elite strike team that the Hokage sent to back her up?"
Shiro looked into the telescope and saw that tied to some kind of cable around Gill's waist was a trio of familiar annoyed, scared, and crying Genin.
"Yah okay she's a idiot. KENTA!" At Shiro's shout Kenta looked up from his pull ups, which it should be noted featured a log several dozen time's bigger than he was formed around his feet. "Can you come up here and see this!?" At once Kenta smashed his way out of the log and ran up the side of the wall to meet with the other two. "Think you can catch up to them." Shiro stated pointing into the telescope.
At once Kenta crouched down and looked into the telescope and recoiled in shock at once. However unlike Yamato this one was filled with joy.
"That's Gill Guy! The Number One Work Out Addict of Konoha!" Kenta stated in pure joy before he continued. "Record holder of longest distance, heaviest weights, fastest time..."
Shiro interrupted Kenta's fan-boy moment by grabbing him by his jacket and yanking him down to him.
"Can you catch up to them or not!?" Shiro stated seriously.
"No way they're way too far ahead I could never..."
"Then we'll give you a boost." Yamato stated, interrupting Kenta with a infamous Konoha Jutsu known as the '1000 Years of Death' which in reality amounted to a chakra enhanced prank where you stick your index and middle fingers up someone's butt before shooting them at incredible speed and distance, the main idea being to inflict pain, constipation and or humiliation on a foe.
"Crude, but effective." Shiro commented letting out a dark chuckle.
"Hey guys!~" Atsuko ran up to the pair of Ninja via wall running. "Look at what I can do!" Atsuko stated forming a ball of water in her hands and swishing it around to and fro a bit.
"Very impressive Atsuko, we'll be able to start you on Earth Chakra soon enough, but first there is a matter that needs our attention." Yamato stated, turning his attention back to the open desert.
"Hey where did Kenta go?" Atsuko asked looking around all confused.
Shiro held a single finger in the air for a moment while he tracked something in the air. Finally a dust cloud formed from something with a decent amount of mass crashing in the sand.
"Over there." Shiro stated plainly.
Predictably, Gill Guy was once again all but dragging her entire team through the desert, making both herself and them carry huge rucksacks no less, when she was interrupted by someone falling out of the sky, landing on her and sending all five people involved tumbling and crashing through the desert, their lives spared from injury thanks only to the protective padding/small miracle that was landing on the rucksacks.
"Did anyone catch the number of that truck that hit us?" Gill asked with her face in the dirt.
Masunu rummaged for something underneath his sack and pulled out the familiar member of team Yamato.
"Ask him!" Masunu stated tossing aside Kenta.
"Kenta!"
From what could be understood Gill and Kenta had a rather close relationship, stemming from the fact that Rock Lee, Kenta's father, was Gill's god father. However smacking Kenta in the face a few times to wake him up may not have been the wisest strategy.
"I'm awake! I'm awake!" Kenta stated alert, but panicking with a bit of pain in his sore cheeks. Then he realized who was holding him.
"Gill!?"
Once Kenta confirmed who was holding him he entered a overly emotional hug with the older woman, who was apparently like a sister to him, complete with tears of joy spouting off of their eyes like water works, before being interrupted by the two other Genin.
"Excuse me, but if you can just direct us to your base of operations so that we can grab the rest of our people and get the heck out of this god forsaken place!" Masunu stated in a progressively more irritated tone of voice while he held up a pencil and map.
While Kenta got to work on the map Masunu note with true horror where they had landed for the first time.
"Ms. Guy, we have to get out of here, right now!." Masunu stated while pulling on Gill's sleeve.
"What's the rush Masunu?" Gill asked curious but slightly concerned.
"Are you kidding? Do you even realize where we are!?" Masunu stated gesturing to the nearby Iron Cauldron prison.
"Oh that isn't good." Gill stated, now fully concerned.
While the group were just now realizing the enormity of the situation that they were in someone else had already found them, and was now raining bony projectiles down from the sky on them. Gill naturally was the first to react, years of high speed running had created perfectly honed reflexes, and paired with the insane speeds that she moved at she even had time to grab her genin and Kenta before she moved out of the way.
"So the Hokage sent a team to die in his daughter's place eh?" The familiar form of the green kimono wearing woman appeared and walked towards the group. "Please go and inform him that the life of his daughter is not up for debate, she will be dying, and she will be doing so slowly." The unnamed woman stated as she grew another volley of bone from her arm. "You may have to write it down!"
"Kenta. Do you know this woman?" Gill asked in a unusually cold tone of voice.
"Yes!" Kenta suddenly stood up perfectly strait, like he was now talking to a superior officer rather than a sibling. "We do not know her name, but we have confirmed the presence of both a Cursed Seal which dials up her chakra potency and the Shikotsumyaku Kekkei Gen-KAK..." Kenta tried to say before he was stabbed through his arm by a kunai shaped bone.
"Didn't anyone ever tell you that it's rude to talk about someone behind their back!?"
The angered woman stated while her skin turned grey, dropping her kimono and briefly appearing in the nude before her bony armor appeared.
"You're one to talk about rude!" Gill stated as she cut the rope tying her to her Genin. "Masunu, I'm leaving you in charge of the team. Your orders are to take Kenta and reunite with his team, then come back with back up and help me deal with this bitch."
"GILL I WON'T..."
"Those are your orders..." Gill stated cutting off Kenta. "I just hope with all that training you three have been doing you can get there and back in time to watch me beat this bitch!~" Gill stated, sounding like she was back to her old self.
"If anything we'll be exhausted from running around for the past week!" Masunu barked highly annoyed, before he caught a look through Gill's bangs that told him he should be running. "Yes-sir!" With that Masunu and the others bolted off supporting Kenta, leaving Gill and the bone woman alone.
With a smile Gill unbuckled the Rucksack from her back, letting it hit the sound with a crashing sound, next she worked the Velcro straps on the things that looked like leg warmers on her arms, arm warmers if you will, and confidently dropped them on the ground, leaving behind a sizable crater, finally she removed the leg warmers from below and dropped them into the crater, which was now even deeper.
"So than..." Cracks echoed throughout the empty desert as Gill worked out the kinks in her neck. "Would you like white or wheat with your omelet!?"
Review Section:
Guest: I'll look into it some time. And no, I haven't done a comic about this. And no I haven't even put this on another site yet.
Jacob: The chapters are chapters, if you want to put it into episodic format then one episode = one chapter.
Logan: I wouldn't want to bother them, they got a lot of work to do and probably can't read English anyway.
Sahand Ali: Thanks for it.
