20 Things You Wish You Knew - Lucy
Lucille Jean Weasley was born exactly 5 minutes after Molly.
She hates the name Lucille, and if anyone calls her that, they'll be ignored at best, hexed at worst. She does love the name Lucy though, oddly enough.
Her Godmother – and namesake – is Hermione, who not only helped Percy return to his family, but also to explain the Wizarding World to Audrey.
Even though they are identical, Lucy is Molly's polar opposite. She is loud, outgoing and crazy, which was a shock to Percy initially. Now though, he wouldn't have her any other way.
Lucy is a Gryffindor through and through, and even though it was hard at first being sorted away from her twin, she knows that they are both where they belong.
The only class that she could ever beat Molly in was DADA
In true Weasley-Potter style Lucy joined the Quidditch team as Chaser in her second year.
In her fifth year, she became the first of her cousins to be appointed Quidditch Captain.
She is the less girly twin, more at home in muggle jeans and a t-shirt.
Her one weakness is her hair, which is often pulled back by a large bow or woven into an intricate braid.
Lucy never had any career aspirations except to become an Auror. No summer ever seemed so long as the one between her graduation and the start of Auror training.
Lucy fell in love with Adrian Johnston, an Auror five years her senior. They married on the 4th June 2026, almost exactly five years after her graduation.
She has one daughter, Maryanne Jeanette Johnston, whom she loves more than anyone or anything in the world.
She and Adrian decided against having more children, however she ensured Maryanne was as close to Molly's two children as she was to her sister.
She doted on her niece and nephew – who was her Godson – and was in a fair way to spoiling them.
Molly is her best friend and she would do anything for her. When she realised just how anxious and depressed she was getting before seventh year, she vowed to help her get better and never let her go back there again.
Ever since their graduation, Lucy and Molly have gotten together once a week for coffee and ice cream to catch up and just have fun.
Lucy would have preferred being home schooled with her cousins to going to muggle school, but she went because Molly wanted to go. She was surprised to find that she actually enjoyed it.
While she had a couple of boyfriend at Hogwarts, none were really serious until she met Adrian.
To her shock she was made a Gryffindor Prefect, but she always knew that with Molly around no one else ever had a shot at Head Girl
