Subject: Specimen JPPSS01 -Sephiroth

Sephorith was born in Nibelheim, date of birth unknown, mother and father undisclosed. Both mother and Sephiroth were injected with Jenova cells while fetus was in womb. Fetal development showed full absorption of Jenova cells within Sephiroth. Seized and raised within Shinra after birth. Labeled first success of Project S. Became SOLDIER 1st Class, rank General, during war with Wutai
- September 22, 0002 Sephiroth was sent to investigate a Mako Reactor in Nibelheim with a small contingent. Reports show that contents of Jenova held within the Reactor and information found in the town served to escalate Sephiroth's maddening
- October 1, 0002 Nibelheim Incident was the result of Sephiroth's actions. Clean-up of site showed death of nearly all residents of Nibeleheim. Investigation of the Reactor revealed traces of a black substance of unknown origin. This black substance was also found in the Shinra Mansion. Further investigation determined that Sephiroth had fallen into Mako. Only a single body was retrieved from site.
- October 7, 0002 Sephiroth declared KIA. Recovery plan for Nibelheim put into action
- November 22, 0002 Case file closed
- November 25, 0002 Black substance labeled Duostigma. Studies ongoing. Case file #32482-V-SDC
- January 22, 0002 SOLDIER program officially severed from elite operative management. Reorganization established. Active SOLDIERs transferred as assault troops or elite guards.

- January 26, 0008 Subject NR01 was discovered missing. Source of escape unknown. Case files missing
- January 27, 0008 Call from Vice President Shinra to investigate appearance of Makonoids. Subject NR01 sighted
- January 28, 0008 Insufficient evidence obtained, results uncertain. Makonoids were deemed torpid, engraved with numbers. Duostigma discernible. Subject NR01 could not be traced

- February 2, 0008 Call from Vice President Shinra to investigate reports of a man in a black cape
- February 3, 0008 Inconclusive. Witnesses describe a man with platinum hair and green eyes, wielding a masamune. Description matches that of Sephiroth, former SOLDIER 1st Class. Vice President requesting further investigation on return of Sephiroth and information on Promised Land
Additional info: Sephiroth seeking Promised Land. Also found in researcher's log (transcribed verbatim) - if the world is significantly damaged, the Lifestream will gather to heal the wound. A black power will cause a massive injury to the Planet. This will enable a merge with the planet's Mako energy and allow the rebirth of a god
- Not included with case file: Reunion Theory? Evidence obtained indicates Professor Hojo having performed undocumented testing. Tseng suggests speaking with Hojo regarding Reunion Theory and Duostigma
- How or why did a SOLDIER of Sephiroth's rank get sent to Nibelheim on such a routine assignment?
