Chapter 21: Going to War
A/N: So here I am again so soon with another chapter for you all. Didn't I tell ya it would be a lot more regular for ya guys now. I have no life lol just oodles of time to sit and write for ya. In other news I am looking for a beta to read and edit my chapters mainly just for any typos but also for anywhere there could be more like better pacing and such. I plan to have a few chapters for the war each featuring one battle. I want to do the whole thing right and not rush to cram it all into one chapter. So, get ready for a long ride. Enjoy!

It took two days for the allied shinobi forces, as they decided to call themselves, to gather all of their forces and resources to the battlefield. With Naruto at the head all were confident that they could win this battle.
They divided everyone into three main corps. The battle corps made up all shinobi that would do battle during the war. There were three divisions within the battle corp. Front lines fighters that would lead the initial charge right into the thick of it. This is where Naruto and most of his friends would all oversee their own battalions leading the fight. Next would be the support squad hanging back providing long range fighting jutsu to aid them and draw fire. Last would be the message reinforcements. These shinobi would hang back and serve as replacements should others fall in battle.
The next division is the communication corp. They are built of shinobi that aren't that powerful in fighting but are fast and get messages to all quickly with their radios. These are crucial to troop movement and relaying battle plans.
Lastly is the medical corp. Each medical group have an established base far from the line of fire where they treat any wounded. One talented medical nin will also serve on the front lines for immediate triage and treatment for case level red injuries.
Naruto had set it up this way to ensure the victory of the forces. Many battles were about to fought and many would suffer emotional pain from the enemies they would face. They all knew this would be the most difficult time of their lives but all believed in Naruto to be their savior.
With Naruto's Battalion
Naruto's fighters were set to clash with the largest of the forces that were marching towards the largest seat of power in the world. Reports put many reanimated shinobi in their forces. Most disturbingly the fourth hokage and his wife. Naruto's parents Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. Naruto was determined to take them down no matter his feelings.
Both forces met in a giant flat grass land and stared down each other. Naruto ordered his allies to hang back while he dealt with the leaders himself. Naruto could see that the leaders on the other side did the same. Naruto ran out to the center of the field to meet the two people there. The man his father looked so much like him he almost thought he was looking in the mirror.
The woman next to him his mother had some striking similarities as well namely her eyes. They were the same shape as his and her face looked so kind. They both smiled at him with a proud warm and sad smile.
"I am Naruto Inuzuka. Jinchuuriki of the Nine Tails Kurama. The first fox sage. Rokudaime Hokage of Konohagakure. Chancellor of the Allied Shinobi Forces. Reincarnation of the Sage of Six Paths. Protector of the world and realm. I deliver this message through you to your puppet master watching and his puppet master Madara. You. Will. Die. I promise. Now with that out of the way hello mother. Hello Father," Naruto said watching their faces at his proclamation.
Both Minato and Kushina had tears in their eyes at all of his titles and statements. "Oh honey your father and I are so proud of you. You've grown into the fine young man that we had hoped you would be. But why is your last name Inuzuka and not your father's or mine?" Kushina asked puzzled. "And why foxes and not toads? I thought Jiraiya would have-" Minato began but Naruto cut him off.
"Your sensei Jiraiya had nothing to do with me until I was 14. My last name is Inuzuka because of it being my mother's name Tsume. When you guys died I was alone for many years. Sarutobi did what he could but the village wasn't very accepting of me. Tsume took me in and raised me to be who I am. I told you guys this before but my guess is that that part of your soul moved on and is not present to give you its memories. I'm glad to see you guys in the personish but I'm sorry you guys are my enemy and you know you can't disobey the reanimation jutsu," Naruto explained at length.
They both knew it was true and could already feel their bodies reacting to their orders. You ready Kurama? This is going to be tough, Naruto asked. "I am always ready Naruto. Summon me and lets do this!" Kurama agreed. Naruto nodded outside his mindscape and drew blood. He ran through the seals for the summoning jutsu and slammed his hand into the ground. "Here we go! Summoning jutsu boss summons: Kurama!" Naruto shouted. There was a giant puff of smoke all around the area and when it cleared there were two giants standing there. Naruto stood atop Kurama's giant form and across from him was a giant toad.
"Impressive son meet my boss summons Gamabunta," Minato said still full of pride. The two giants launched at each other Kurama having the upper hand due to his claws. When they hit Naruto launched at Minato with a full powered rasengan aimed at his chest. His rasengan was met with Minato's own causing a massive chakra explosion. They were both thrown back and his mother rushed in with her sword.
She used chakra chains wrapping around him to pull him into her crying she slashed at him but was surprised to find her sword blocked with his own. "It won't be that easy mother," he mumbled through his blade. He swung his head around pushing her back and breaking her chains. "But how?" she asked stunned.
"Etched into the metal is a seal that blocks and absorbs enemy chakra. Never had the need to use it until now though," Naruto said. He rushed towards her and launched a series of strikes aiming to incapacitate but she was true master with her blade as well countering every strike.
Minato appeared behind him with the Hiraishin and tried to stab his back with a kunai but was surprised with a yellow flash of light from Naruto. They looked around and found him barreling down at them with a rasenshuriken. He threw it at the last second and blasted the whole area apart. In the distance there was a huge blast from a bijuu bomb and then the rasenshurkien hit the ground blasting a huge radius with chakra shredding everything in the circle.
Many of the white Zetsu army was demolished from the blasts. Minato and Kushina barely escaped his jutsu. They were surprised however when they found that they could no longer move and looked down to find themselves trapped in a shadow possession.
A Nara clan member had successfully trapped then Naruto landed next to them and nodded to the Nara. "Good work the sealing should only take a second to complete," Naruto ordered. "Good job son. Always protect the Leaf. And remember we love you always," Kushina and Minato said just before the sealing took effect and they were encased in their tombs.
The other shinobi looked to Naruto for any sadness but found only resolve. "Madara will pay for this," Naruto said. The rest of the shinobi engaged the Zetsu clones and had them taken care of swiftly. When Naruto turned however there was a few new resurrected shinobi standing in the way. They wore the hats of Kage long past Naruto's fight was just beginning.

A/N: So there it was the first chapter of the war. So I want you opinions on the next few chapters even though most won't actually read this. But who do you wanna see fight who next? And which Kage do want to see Naruto fight. The most intriguing ones that I see will happen. One that I definitely know I will do is a chapter with Raven vs. Orochimaru so anything other than that let me know and I'll see as long as it is within this timeline of whose dead and whose not.
