Chapter 20: Face to Face

Elsa goes to the place where Olaf found Ardea as she can see the seventeen year old looking at the fairies happily as they hover around her gleefully.

"Awww she's playing with the fairies" Olaf sighed happily.

Elsa looks onward at the teenage girl as she reminds her of her late sister Anna. She used to love the magical creatures and her snow powers before all of this happened. Soon the fairies sense Elsa was near as they fly away from Ardea, leaving her confused until she sees the silhouette of Elsa near her before she turns to see her shadow hiding in the trees.

"I know you're there" Ardea spoke.

"Oh gees, she spot us" Olaf gasped.

"Shut up" Elsa hissed.

"I'm not going to hurt you, Don't be afraid" Ardea assured Elsa.

The Snow Queen just chuckled a bit deviously and said

"I am not afraid"

"Well...then come out" Ardea shrugged.

"Why should I?" Elsa asked.

"Because, I want to see who you are please" Ardea kindly asked.

"You think you're brave enough to see the likes of me?" Elsa coldly asked.

"I...I'm brave and I'm not afraid" Ardea replied.

Elsa looks out at the teenage girl for a moment until she slowly walks out from his hiding place and reveals herself before Ardea who was awe of Elsa as she asked

"Who are you?"

"I am the Snow Queen and this is my kingdom" Elsa replied.

"So you're the queen of the Enchanted Mountains?" Ardea asked.

"Yes, this is my home and you are merely trespassing here" Elsa said.

"I...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to enter your kingdom without permission, I just wanted to see the Enchanted Mountains" Ardea explains.

"What is your name?" Elsa asked as she technically knows Ardea's name but knew she would addressed her as...

"Anna, My name is Anna" said Ardea.

"I see" Elsa simply nodded.

Soon Olaf wanders by to Ardea as she gasped happily at the little snowman

"Aww aren't you adorable?"

"Hi! I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs" Olaf warmly greeted.

"Can I hug you then?" Ardea kindly asked.

Olaf gleefully gasped and begins to cry tears of joy as Ardea asked

"Did I upset you or something?"

"No" Olaf sniffed and hugs Ardea "It's just no one has ask me for a hug for so long"

Ardea giggled and continues cuddling the happy snowman as Elsa looks away from the scene until Ardea looks at Elsa and said

"This place is beautiful"

"What?" Elsa asked.

"The Enchanted Mountains is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. I knew magic exists here and it's so wonderful! The creatures are very beautiful and I reckon you are a great queen" Ardea happily said.

"Little does she know...Little does she understands" Elsa thought to herself.

"You really shouldn't be here" Elsa replied.

"Why not?" Ardea asked.

"This place can be dangerous" said Elsa.

"I'm a tough girl, I can handle myself. Besides I climbed over your wall" said Ardea.

"I see that but you got to leave now, don't come back to this place. You belong in the meadows just like I belong here" said Elsa.

"But I want to know more about this place, I want to see what the Enchanted Mountains is like. Everything is so amazing and I want to explore it...It's being my dream to see this place" said Ardea.

"Look, we keep humans out of here for a reason and most of them want to destroy this place because they fear magic and fear of us being...different" Elsa sighed.

"Well I don't wanna hurt you guys, I reckon you guys are just like you and me...Besides aren't you human too?" Ardea asked Elsa.

"Was a human but ever since I had these powers, I'm a freak to those who hate me" said Elsa.

"You're not a freak to me" Ardea shrugged.

Elsa looks at Ardea as she was surprised that a human, apart from Anna and her parents actually likes her, sadly she doesn't know about the curse or the true facts about Elsa.

"It's just everything I can imagine" Ardea said as she was excited to explore the Enchanted Mountains.

Before Ardea could turn to face Elsa, the Snow Queen blows some snow magic at her face as Ardea was put to sleep for a while.

"Why did you do that?" Olaf asked in concerned.

"She was so annoying" Elsa sighed.

"We can't just leave her there" Olaf said.

"I know that you fool" Elsa groaned.

She then summons Marshmallow and said

"Help me take her back home"

The giant snowman nodded and picks up Ardea as he and Elsa leaves for the meadows while Olaf watches them leave.

So Ardea has seen Elsa for the first time and seems nice to her

But she has yet to know about the curse and the truth about Elsa

Elsa warned Ardea to stay away from The Enchanted Mountains

But I don't think Ardea will obey ;-)
