Jasper POV...
This is rediculous. The family came here to see if Edward and I are okay. Why can't they just leave us alone? We were a perfectly happy family before they showed up. I know Alice is worried about me but I just need time. She doesn't understand that I care for Bella, but I care for Alice more. She just needs to understand.
They have been here for 2 weeks. We haven't talked to or seen them since that first day. I feel terrible shutting out Carlisle and Esme but they seem to be on Alice's side. I don't know how to bring up the facts, Bella and I are connected by our past. We have been through the same thing, over and over again, every battle. If Bella hadn't saved me then Alice wouldn't have me. None of them would have me, including Bella. She would have gone crazy if I died, like that.
I have to make everyone understand, but how?
"Uncle Jazz!" Bree yelled from the ground. I leaned out my bedroom door and looked down at Bree. She was standing with Bella, Edward, Diego and Jeany.
"Come on, we have a suprise for you." Bella said with a smile on her face. Something seemed like it was up.
"Alright, I'll be down in a minute." I said. I walked to my dresser and threw on a clean pair of clothes. I jumped out my door and down to the ground.
"What's my suprise?" I asked. Everyone just smiled.
"It's a suprise. So close your eyes." Bree said sweetly. I obayed and then felt someone jump on my back and cover my eyes. I tried to get them off but they wrapped their legs around my waist and lock their ankles.
"Oh, Jazzy relax. It's just me." Bella said. I stopped and stood still.
"Okay, come on." Bree said. I felt her take my hand and we started walking foward. We walked for a bit then came to a stop. I sighed and became still. Bella jumped off my back but didn't let go of my eyes yet.
"Okay, now Jazzy don't freak out. Just listen for now." Bella said.
"Okay, fine." I said. She let go my eyes and I saw Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, Rose and Alice standing across the creek. They were all smiling. Alice slowly walked to the waters edge.
"Uncle Jazz don't get mad, okay?" Bree asked. I just nodded. "The day your family came here, I went over there to talk to them. And I've been planning this." Bree said.
"You what?" I asked.
"I went to the house on the other side of the island to talk to your family. Remember when I said I was going down to the beach?" She asked. I nodded.
"Well I didn't go to the beach. I went to the house to talk to them." She finished. I took calming breaths.
"Jazz?" Alice called. I looked back at her.
"Alice." I said. Not cold but not friendly either.
"I'm sorry for everything. I really am." Alice said. I could tell she really was.
"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have acted the way I did but I just need you to understand..." I trailed off.
"What is there to understand, Jazz?" Esme asked.
"Everything about Bella and I." I said.
"You two know each other since you escaped from Maria. What is there to understand?" Emmett asked.
"No, we knew each other while I was with Maria! Bella was a newborn who was forced into this life like I was. She had my back in every battle and during one of those battles I was almost killed. If Bella hadn't been there then the army we had would've let me die. But Bella wasn't having that she faught off 12 newborns then checked on me. Once she knew I was still alive she killed about 100 more newborns, finishing the fight. She saved my life, I could have died! Then 3 years later I escaped, leaving her to deal with Maria, the armies, that life." I said.
Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, Rose and Alice all looked between Bella and I. They all looked like someone just kicked them in the gut. I could tell that Rose, Esme, Emmett and Carlisle understood what I was saying, but Alice didn't seem to care.
"You risked your life for Jasper in every fight, didn't you?" Esme asked Bella. Bella just nodded. She made a slight movement to bite down on the inside of her cheek. I could tell Bella wasn't all there anymore. She had the shield up so I couldn't feel her emotions.
Edward, what's going on with Bella? I thought. Edward looked at Bella. His eyes widened slightly. He looked back at me, and shrughed. He doesn't know? What is she thinking about?
"Jasper what's going on?" Carlisle asked from the other side of the creek.
"We need to go. We'll come by the house later today." I said. Edward wrapped his arms around Bella and picked her up. Bree and Diego followed us cluelessly. We left the family standing there shocked. When we got to the tree house Edward sat with Bella on the ground.
"Belly, are you in there?" I asked. Her shield fell and I could tell she was on the edge of breaking down her emotions flipped from angry to calm.
"Come on, baby. What's going on in your head? Please tell me, Love." Edward said. Bella's calm seemed to take a little more control.
It's working. I thought.
"Mommy? What's wrong?" Bree asked. Bella's bottom lip trembled a little and her calm was in even more control.
"Mommy, you're scaring me." Diego said. That was it. Bella's calm took complete control and she blinked a few times. She held her arms out to Bree and Diego. They sat down and hugged Bella to them.
"Bella, what's going on?" I asked. She looked up at me and she looked scared.
"There is something going on with Alice and I don't like where it's going to go." She said.
"What are you talking about?" Edward asked. She closed her eyes for a minute then opened them.
"She's planning to get rid of me, Bree and Diego." Bella whispered. Bree and Diego seemed undisturbed by her comment.
"What? No, Alice would never do that." I said. Bella looked at me sadly and nodded.
"I don't know how, but I've seen it happening." Bella said. She looked at Edward and they were quiet for a minute. Edward's breathing picked up, his eyes widened and his emotions went overprotective.
"Is there a way to stop what you saw?" I asked. They both shook their heads.
"What are we going to do?" I asked. Bella looked at me sadly.
"There is only one thing she wants. And that's you. She is going to do anything to get you. Even if that means killing me, Bree, Diego and Edward. She know that if she kills me she will have to kill Edward. She will stop at nothing to get her happy family." Bella said.
I closed my eyes and hid my face in my hands.
"So, your telling me that she will try to kill all four of you just to be with me without you guys?" I asked.
"Yeah." Edward and Bella both said.
"There's only one thing that will work. That will keep us alive." Bella whispered.
"What?" I asked. I lifted my head and looked at her.
"We go our seperate ways." Bella whispered, pain in her voice.
"You mean, you, Edward, Bree, Diego and Jeany leave and I stay with the one who wants to kill you?" I asked. Bella nodded sadly. She had tears in her eyes. I thought this over.
Bella says it's the only way to keep them safe. Bella has never been wrong about anything. If Bella says it will work then I have to listen to her. I won't let her get killed for my love sick mate.
I looked back at Bella and nodded. I had tears well up in my eyes and so did everyone else. We all hugged each other tightly.
Time Skip
"Jazzy, everything is going to be okay." Bella said. I just nodded.
"Do you have everything?" I asked. They all nodded. Bella, Bree, Diego, Edward and Jeany are leaving Isle Esme to stay away from Alice. I know that the family and I will go back to Forks. Bree was about to get in the water when she took Jeany off her back.
"I want you to keep Jeany." She said. She walked up to me and handed me her monkey. She kissed Jeany on the head then looked at me.
"Take care of her. Remember her favorite food is green bananas. And she needs a bath once a week otherwise the bugs will start clinging to her. And she loves to ride on your back. She runs from anything scary so don't scare her too much. I'm gonna miss you Uncle Jasper. You'll always be my only uncle. No matter how many people we add to our family. I will never forget you." Bree said.
"I will take extra good care of Jeany. I promise you. You'll always be my favorite but don't tell Diego." I said to her.
"Hey, I can hear you!" Diego exclaimed, playfully. Everyone laughed.
"I know." I laughed. Bree walked back to the water and stood next to Diego. Bella walked up to me.
"I'm gonna miss my best friend." She said, with tears in her eyes. I put Jeany on my back and hugged Bella to me, she hugged me back just as tightly.
"Bella, take care of them for me. Don't let them do anything stupid. Stay away from the Volturi. Just promise me one thing." I said.
"Anything, Jazzy." Bella said.
"Promise me this isn't good-bye forever." I pleaded.
"I promise, this isn't good-bye forever." She said, truthfully. I nodded and let go of her. She gave me a kiss on the cheek and stood by Bree and Diego. Edward faced me sadly.
"Don't let Alice do anything stupid. Tell the family I love them. And tell them my leaving has nothing to do with them. I just want to protect my family. I guess this is good-bye for now, Jasper." Edward said.
"I will. Take care of our family." I said, nodding in Bella, Bree, Diego's direction. Edward nodded.
"See you around." Edward said then went and stood by Bella.
They all waved and turned around. They walked out into the water. When they were waist deep they dissapeared. Bella: always on the cautious side. I watched the water until the sun set far below the horizon.

Unknown to Jasper, 2 people watched the heartbreaking good-bye.
"Oh god I feel so... so..." The first mumbled.
"So guilty?" The second asked from beside.
"Why did you bring me here?" The first asked.
"So you could see just how you ruined his future. He would have been happy if you hadn't made your decision to kill her." The second said.
"I didn't mean for this to go this way." The first sobbed.
"Oh, but I think you did." The second said.
"Rose, what am I going to do?" Alice asked.
