Epilogue
When you would look upon the largest manor that graced Haven, New York, you would find the grounds perfectly quaffed. Only a pile of offending leaves from the vast oak trees marred the well-kept grass.
"Renesmee, let Charlotte have a turn first. She's smaller than you are and they're will be plenty of leaves to go around."
It was Alice's turn to watch her sisters although she hardly felt it was a job. In fact, Rosalie who had helped out with the prior night's mealtime, had every right to take the morning off from "sister sitting" but she was quickly making her way down toward the maze where the leaf pile laid.
"Here Alice, I brought coats. It is getting cold and I don't want anyone sick again."
Rosalie handed off the coats to Alice and then sat down on the grass to take in their smallest sister, Charlotte. Charlotte who had just turned two, tepidly looked at the leaves before turning around and falling into the pile with a laugh,
"My turn!" Renesmee screamed.
Just then a racket from the house came. The back door slammed open and two silly people practically fell out the door. Bella laughed as Edward's kisses tickled her neck. Alice and Rosalie looked up at the pair with slightly crossed looks.
Edward looked up and saw his four daughters watching them and quickly stopped.
"Oh…uh…girls. I thought it was nap time," he muttered out a pathetic excuse.
"I told you we would have been better in our room," Bella whispered.
"I've taken you enough in our room. We need a change of scenery," Edward softly replied.
One of the best things about having a pregnant wife was her constant need to have her husband inside of her. Edward found that releasing his anger freed up the majority of his energy. Energy that found itself making great use of itself with Bella.
"Could you please not do that here? You know there are innocent eyes watching." Rosalie complained.
Edward took his wife's hand and pulled her toward the entrance of the maze.
"Carry on…your mother and I just wanted to take a stroll in the maze. We'll see you for lunch."
Edward pinched Bella's side and she screamed out before chasing on after her husband.
"Ugh!" Rosalie huffed.
"Well, at least you know they can't get pregnant again," Alice laughed.
"Oh please, knowing those two, they will put another one in with the one that's already there. At this rate, we will never leave for college. We might as well set up a daycare."
Alice laughed at her sisters claims.
"That's okay with me. I don't mind staying here and helping to raise kids. I could find a nice husband and raise a couple of my own," Alice replied.
Alice and Rosalie had differed on their hopes and dreams since Bella had come into their lives. Alice wanted to stay in Haven and dress in the long period clothing while Rosalie wanted to see the world and experience more. In some ways, Alice and Rosalie were the two halves of Bella.
Bella had stayed in Haven and although she never completely accepted some of the old ways, she had remained as conservative as she could. She tried to respect the townspeople way of life and in exchange, the townspeople attempted to respect her.
It had been a slow uphill battle for the former governess. Edward eventually earned Bella's full respect and trust but a huge part of him couldn't let go of the old ways. It took Bella nearly a full year before he would even allow her to bring a television into the house. In some areas, Master Cullen would always be strict.
Bella would soon find that if there was something she wanted, she need only to ask. However, asking at the right time was key. In fact, there was something that she needed very much at the moment.
Edward came to their secret spot and let Bella in the hidden door before following and securing the door in place.
"You planned this," Bella smiled mischievously.
There were a couple of blankets and pillows laid out on the grassy floor.
"Of course I did. I can't have my wife uncomfortable in her state."
He took her hand and helped her down to the floor. She was only five months along in her pregnancy but Edward treated her like a glass figurine since the moment they found out she was pregnant again.
Bella had become used to his rules and expectations when it came to her pregnancies. The first time she was pregnant, she nearly left him during her final months. He had put so many rules on her that she was practically bedridden. However, she finally realized that he only stressed over her because he was so worried that he would lose her like he had lost Hope.
"I was hoping we could talk for a little while," Bella said.
Edward exhaled and sat down beside her.
"What is it that you wish for now?"
He was already up on her game.
"What makes you think I wish for anything more than what I already have?"
He gave her that all knowing look.
She sighed and bit her lower lip wondering how she should begin. This was a rather weighty thing she was about to ask for and she wanted to be sure she handled the situation with the upmost respect.
"You're worried," Edward responded seeing his wife's hands play with one another. He had come to know her many ticks.
"I don't want to offend you. I worry that you may not like what I have to ask."
Edward moved closer and tried to comfort Bella with a loving hold of her hands.
"I will be patient, I promise. You know I don't like you to worry especially when you are carrying my child."
Bella gave a small smile. Edward was right on time. Usually at six months, Edward would bring on the heavier rules and expectations. Of course he would never call them rules or expectations but he would pester Bella until she gave in. Expectations like meal plans, expected hours of sleep and even certain positions they were allowed to make love.
"I wanted to…" Bella began but then stopped immediately. She knew what she was asking for could very well lead to a fight.
"Please your silence is killing me. I already told you I would be patient so tell me what is on your mind and I will do just as I promise."
Sometimes he had to be harsh with his words so Bella would be direct.
"I want this child…" She gulped before continuing. "…to be our last."
They had four girls and another on the way. Bella had been pregnant constantly the past few years with barely a breath in between pregnancies. She had never really discussed with Edward a total but she was at her end.
Edward looked down at his wife's stomach and tried to comprehend her wishes. He had never thought about it before. How many children they would have. He assumed that they would just stop when her body was unable to produce anymore. Let nature take its course. He loved seeing his Bella with her tummy hard and round. He loved watching her go up and down on his dick while he rested his hands on her stomach and felt his offspring moving inside.
He thought about their four girls and was sad that if he gave into his wife's wishes, this baby would be the last time he would see the miracle of life. The last time he would see little toes and little noses.
"Edward. I'm sorry. I can tell that you are sadden by this but I'm tired. My body is tired. I want to enjoy the one's I have and be able to experience certain things again. I have been breastfeeding every day since Renesmee and its time. Please don't hate me for this."
Her last thought is what upset him the most.
"How could you think such a thing? That I could ever hate you? You hurt me with that, Bella."
"I'm sorry," She quickly apologized.
"I feel sad that is true but for you to think that I would hate you? Ever? I feel very disrespected."
Bella didn't know what to say. Her words were certainly not thought out enough. Her mind scrambled to find what to say but her mouth remained still.
"Bella, you know I would do anything for you. There isn't a wish you could make that I wouldn't grant even if I had to move heaven and earth…"
"I know." She interrupted, "But I also know what I am asking is heartbreaking to you. I can see it in your eyes now. I don't want to hurt you…I just can't seem to find a good compromise."
Edward looked around their hidden garden and sighed. His hands found themselves back on Bella's stomach as he tried to find the silver lining.
"Well I guess it would be nice to not have to worry that something could go awry during your labor and take you from me forever."
Bella tried to keep her eyes from rolling.
They sat in silence a moment longer before Edward turned back to her.
"Okay, if this is what you wish…I guess I better savor this moment and every moment after this." Then he practically lunged at his wife to begin making his lasting memories.
"You're not disappointed that we will never have a son?" Bella asked between all his kisses.
Edward shook his head and kept on task.
"But, I want to make sure…"
"Bella, I'm trying to move on over here."
"I know but there is something else I needed to discuss with you first."
Edward groaned and stopped himself. His painful erection slowly started to fade once more.
"It's Rosalie."
"No! We've already discussed this," Edward stated emphatically.
"No, you dismissed it without hearing me out. She is a woman now. You can't keep her here forever. She needs to go out and see the world. She has been accepted to one of the best schools in the world. She deserves to go."
Edward pushed himself off the ground to gain some height.
"I already said no. It's too dangerous and Rosalie is too naive. She will get hurt. I will not see this family torn apart. That is my final answer."
Bella began to pull herself up from the ground as well. It took her a little longer and Edward had to eventually help her in fear she would fall.
"You're not pulling the chauvinist card. She's my daughter too and she wants more and it should be up to us as parents to help her succeed in life, to have her dreams come true. She's asking to go to college not join up with the badest biker gang."
Edward could feel his blood begin to boil. He turned away from his wife so she wouldn't see the rage in his eyes. She wasn't going to stop and he knew that. Eventually Rosalie would leave him and there was nothing he could do. Would she ever come back? Would she survive going out into the real world? His stomach began to turn.
Bella placed a soft gentle hand on her husbands back.
"I know you're scared."
He said nothing.
"But you can't keep us all locked up here in fears of what could happen."
"LOCKED UP? YOU THINK I'VE LOCKED YOU UP?"
Again with the poor choice of words.
"No. I know you could never lock me up. I'm too strong. I would break out and then you would have once crazy ass wife on your hands," She whispered erotically into Edward's ear.
Edward felt his pants begin to move. He could continue fighting but then that would mean that eventually he would give into her demands and the fight would prolong the part he had been aching to get to.
Edward spun around and backed up toward the exit.
"Let's see you break out of this."
He turned and opened the secret entrance and locked her inside. Bella's mouth went wide and she was wondering if he was playing or being serious. Sometimes she couldn't tell.
"Fine! I guess I will have to pleasure myself!" Bella started to pace, "I imagine I could pleasure myself all day every day if needs be. Rosalie will attend college and my husband will be without privilege. Hope your hand is up for the task."
Bella laid back down on the blanket and opened her legs wide towards the exit. She felt her dress come down gently between her legs. She allowed one finger to run up and down her slit and let out an exaggerated moan.
The exit door flew open and Edward was given prime shot. His hand replaced Bella's far too quickly.
"You started without me. You know how I love to pull your panties off."
"Who said I was wearing panties?" Bella whispered.
Edward groaned once more and grabbed onto his wife's ass. He couldn't get enough especially when she went against his rules. He would see to it that she didn't cum until she was begging for it and Bella knew the price she was going to pay for her little stunt. After all it was very erroneous for a lady to go without undergarments.
In Haven New York, most would never know of a small insignificant town where the women dressed in long covered garbs and the men fitted in their suits would go about their day with little to no modern technology. A place where a wife would bend to her husband's will without quarrel. Children would be raised with proper manners and expectations and no one would ever wish to leave.
However, there was one house just outside of town where the husband would consistently compromise to his wife's wishes. His daughter would soon go out and leave to find herself only back for the major holidays. A house full of love and laughter and light to prove that even the darkest places are capable. All it takes is a little governing.
AN: Yes I know it has been a long while since I have updated any story. I wish there was an adequate explanation but unfortunately I have had a hard time finding inspiration to write. I had another baby this past year and she has inspired me. I know I should finish my other stories but I am working on something new. This time I wont begin to post until I have finished it. I want to make sure I can give you all something completed. My next story will be Romance/Drama. I hope you will check back with me soon. I am hoping to have it done by October.
