I AM A THREAT TO HUMANITY?!

"B..But, I didn't do anything wrong!" I declared to Lie who was murmuring foreign words to herself.

She put her hand on her chin, "That's not the thing..." then she grasped my shoulders tightly and our faces inched closer to each other. "You... Father..." Her eyes began to glow yellow-green. Father leaves the room unlocked. The hidden key appears paid by pain. The sorceress fell on my arms breathing faintly.

"H..Hey! Wake up!" I shook her. Few minutes later, she groaned and looked at me. "What happened to you awhile ago? You spoke some words. Something like a poem?" I explained.

I saw shock in her eyes which made my skin tingle. "That was a prophecy for you..."

"PROPHECY?" I repeated.

"What did I say?" she asked, cutting me off.

I told her what she said and Lie sweated nervously. "You need to come with me NOW."

"W..Wait, I don't want to! I don't even know you yet!" I stopped her.

"There's no time to explain, Kana Sazusa. You need to speak with you father-" We stopped halfway through the room and stared at the figure in front of us. It was Hisoka.

"...and where are you taking Kana~?" he asked. Hisoka leaned on the wall he broke just now and licked his lips IN FRUSTRATION. "Oh, are you Illumi's girlfriend? Where is he?"

Yuuki let go of my arm and held out her hand to shake it with his, "I'm so honored that you remembered my voice on the phone. I'm Lie Yuuki, his girlfriend just like you mentioned." she smiled at him. They shook hands after the greeted each other.

Hisoka put his arms around my shoulders, "So~ where is he?"

I glanced at Hisoka's tall figure. He looked really hot and bulky with all his muscles he got. I just can't believe it.

Lie Yuuki crossed her arms, "He's at the backyard talking to some clients he'll kill later." she replied, not even scared about his job. Maybe she just doesn't care at all. "I didn't expect for you to be 'together'." she chuckled mischievously.

Hisoka didn't even look at me when she said that, "We're just like that... she made me fall for her~"

I poked Hisoka on the hip, "I DIDN'T!" I stuck out a tongue on him which made him smirk.

"Yo, long time no see..." Illumi salluted and walked in with his long, black hair and emotionless face. Then he locked eyes with me.

Creepy... YOU DON'T WANNA LOOK IN HIS EYES! You would see death and misery in it!

"H..Hi, I'm Kana Sazusa." when our hands touched, it electrocuted my nerves.

"I suppose you know me already..." he spoke.

I nodded in agreement, "Y..Yes. Nice to meet you..." my voice trembled.

He forced out a smile, that made him even more scarier. "I hope we could be good friends..."

I hope so...

Lie Yuuki's POV

Kana and I advanced walking on front of the men and chatted about her life. It was obvious of how she explained, there was so much sadness in her heart. Especially her mother.

I'm not really the talkative type but, I had the urge I need to know more about her. It was a natural process of my lie since I'm an oracle, I foresee the future by reciting poems for the people to decipher. This is my destiny since I was a child. I can't escape it.

"Kana, do you want to see your father?" I asked, turning serious.

She paused before answering, "Maybe I DO want to see him. When I'm strong enough..." Kana raised her fist up, clenching it. "I want to get stronger... so that I can prove to my father that all these years, I didn't need his help at all..."

I was held back by her reply. She was indeed brave her whole life. Enduring the pain of not having a father to look and protect her. "I see... Well, do you want to know where he is?"

SILENCE. The wind blew and the birds tweeted.

"I don't want to know... right now, I should just focus on getting stronger." she breathed the fresh air.

I was impressed but I still wanted to challenge her, "Really? What if... he's currently watching you by now?"

She silently gasped, "RIGHT NOW?"

I laughed, "No, I was kidding. I wanted to see your expression. Sorry... but WHAT IF, he's watching you?"

"Well, I wouldn't care about it that much... Let him watch all he wants." she said coldly.

That's nice, Kana... I really want you to meet Reiji someday...
