Xander ran up the steps with Willow full speed and quickly got in the door. He looked outside and saw the shark in a suit behind the assorted of demons. "Guys we got a problem."

Buffy looked away from Faith and walked towards them. "What's going on?"

"Demons, led by Jaws I think." Xander answered.

Buffy looked at him confused. "Yeah right like I'm really going to look out the window and see…" She looked out and then... "Jaws in a suit. I saw this guy a couple days ago. You and him have some sort of unfinished business… any of that making sense to you Xander?"

Xander shook his head. "Sorry!"

Buffy stuck her head out the window. "Why are they just standing there?"

Faith joined up after calling for the watchers. "We'll be fine. Xander runs some serious mojo in the places he lives nothing demonic can hurt anyone."

Wes ran down followed by Giles and Diana. Wes moved Faith aside to look out the window. "No, we won't."

Buffy looked at the new watcher curiously. "Why not?"

Wes pointed outside. "The ones in the mask, they're called Lilliad demons, their magics can break down the barrier."

Giles frowned. "Great!"

Buffy looked out the window to the shark guy and shouted. "What do you want?"

Teeth looked into the window. "Mr. Harris stole from us. We want him and what's rightfully ours."

"And that would be?" Buffy asked.

Teeth smiled. "Fifty large"

Wes' eyes rose up and turned to the teen. "You mean to tell me that all of this is about money?"

Xander shook his head. Why is everyone yelling at him? "I don't know!"

Teeth looked to Buffy. A slayer is unexpected but he came as soon as he got Harris' address. "Stole it right out from under us."

Faith turned and angrily punched Xander in the arm. "You made me buy you a funnel cake and you've been sitting on fifty grand!"

Xander rubbed his arm. "Ok one… ow! Two, I don't remember any of this. Three, I wouldn't steal from a demon… unless he was attacking someone… I'm sure. And four...ow!"

Buffy rolled her eyes and shouted she's not fighting because of something like this. "OK, we'll get you the money. Just hang on."

Teeth shook his head. "No, far too late. He's an example now and even if he could payback the full lot. It won't bring back the players he killed. It won't bring back the 36 kittens he sprung. And it sure won't make up for the 10 virgins he saved and I don't just mean awkward people I meant 100% pure one barely a month old. Harris dies along with everyone taking his side."

Xander glared at Buffy pointing a finger at her. "You owe me an apology."

Buffy shrugged weakly. "Yeah I should have known better I'm sorry."

Xander looked around. "OK Wes, what kind of guns do I own.., you know before…"

Wes turned to the wall. "You don't know how to fire a single one of them anymore. Luckily you have baseball bats."

"Yes, baseball bats, a warrior's blunt weapon of choice." Buffy quipped as outside the house the walls shimmered blue and stopped. "What was that?"

Wes knew it he's seen it a couple times. "That was the forcefield coming down." He went over and grabbed a box opening it. "Buffy, Xander was going to give these to you and Kendra when he got back, now seems as good a time as any."

Buffy opened the box and saw… she's going with metal bracelet. She put it on. "And what is this supposed to be." A metal sword shot out of Buffy's wrist causing Willow, Giles, and Xander to back up. "Aw cool you kept your word. Thanks Xander."

Xander didn't know how to respond. He hopes he has one of them. He did something right. "You're welcome."

The door opened and Buffy lunged at the first demon that came in. As the demons quickly stormed the house. One tackled Wes before he could even make a move. Giles ran at one and clubbed it with a bat.

Faith pushed the next one into a wall as it came in and he easily pushed her off. Xander jumped at him with a tackle to the surprise of the demon because they're supposed to be up against a demon hunter according to Teeth.

Buffy grabbed a demon and threw him into the wall. She made a motion and a steel sword came out from under her hand. She friggin loves this thing. It's like the ultimate slayer accessory.

Teeth stood outside watching the carnage. He thought Harris and the slayer were at odds and the other night was a common enemy thing. Those Lilliads hired to break the barrier weren't cheap. Now to add to the fun the slayer is involved. This officially can't get any worse.

Teeth turned around and was hit with a sudden force knocking him into the truck in a blast of telekinesis. Lauren looked around the house and saw it's chaos for lack of a better word. What the hell is happening here?

Lauren sees the Lilliad demons likely here to break the barrier spells Xander uses. So she has to go around them and get in through the back.

Faith swung with the bat clubbing one of the demons in the head. The demon shook it off and grabbed Faith by the hair and threw her to the floor causing the potential to slide along.

Xander ran at the demon only to be overpowered and shoved into the wall. "What do you want man?"

The Brown and green skinned demon just pushed with a little more force. "You owe the boss we're here to collect."

Xander looked at him. "Oh come on man. I don't even remember this!" Xander threw a punch and the demon just stood there as Xander shouted holding his hand. "God I think I just broke something!"

"How in the hell did Teeth have such a hard time killing you?" The demon asked. He grabbed Xander and threw him to the floor and sent him sliding into his own room.

The demon walked into the room after Xander only to crumble to one knee. Willow looked at him with her bat and swung again hitting him in the chest. Willow finished with one last swing to the head but the demon caught the bat and threw her at the wall.

The demon looked at Willow only to be jumped on from behind and have Xander on his back trying to pull him away. The demon backs into the wall causing Xander to grunt in pain but still hangs on. He does it again and Xander falls off as Faith cracks the demon's skull with a swing to the head from her bat.

Lauren ran into the back room and saw the chaos as Xander slumped to the floor. She quickly pulled out a gold colored crystal. "Xander look at me!"

Xander turned to the voice of the stranger as a beam of light shot out of the crystal and into Xander's eyes.

Xander fell to the floor and quickly cradled his arms around his legs trying to cope with the sudden influx of memories and trauma.

Xander looks and sees himself as he just kills his best friend intentional or not as the stake goes into Jessie's heart when someone collided into him. All this time and he still doesn't know.

Buffy threw a book incensed at Giles. She grabbed another one. "Read me the signs!" She threw the second book. "Tell me my fortune! You're so useful, sitting around with your books. You're really a lot of help."

The scene shimmered as Giles looked at her almost broken as much as the girl herself. "Buffy, if the Master rises –"

"I don't care!" The slayer cuts him off before quietly muttering in a pained voice far too weak for her. "I don't care. I'm sixteen years old. And I don't want to die."

Jenny ran up the library in a state of panic only to be grabbed by Angel with a sick and sadistic smile even in his game face.

He let out a laugh and clamps his hand over her mouth. "Sorry Jenny, this is where you get off!" He snaps her neck. She falls, dead. "I never get tired of doing that."

Xander sees Kendra pathetically struggling with Drusilla until the vampire put her hand on the slayer's throat and gave on quick order of be in my eyes before slitting her throat with her fingernail as Kendra fell to the floor dead.

Buffy quickly out maneuvered Faith in a fight between the two slayers and shoved the knife into her stomach down to the hilt. Faith goes wide-eyed, a tiny stream of blood burbled from her mouth. Buffy wrenches the blade free and Faith clutches her stomach. She sags... then uppercuts Buffy halfway across the roof. Buffy lands hard on her back.

Faith looked at her sister slayer trying to figure out what happened. "You did it..." There is both confusion and pride in her voice as she looks at her prone counterpart. "You killed me."

Buffy walked into the house and smiled reading the card from Brian to Joyce. At least some guys are getting it right. "Hey, flower getting lady. You want me to pick up Dawn at school? Mom?" She doesn't see that her mother is on the couch behind her, sprawled out in a way that doesn't quite look like sleep. Buffy finally turns, sees her, moving toward her. "Oh! Mom. What are you doing?" Buffy stopped. "Mom?" She looked at Joyce. Her eyes are wide open. Her skin is pale, almost bluish. She does not move. Buffy doesn't either. She stands, rooted, as realization begins to creep in. "Mom?" There is no movement. Buffy's voice is little. "Mommy?"

Willow looked at Tara with a smile just happy things are back to normal until a noise shatters the window and Willow is doused in red.

Tara just looked at the girl she loved confused not seeing the hole in her. "Your shirt?" She fell to the floor.

Jonathan worked with Andrew to uncover the seal only for Andrew to turn a knife on him and kill his best friend.

Xander looked around the room in glazed eyes as everything comes rushing back a like a sick and demented flood of guilt and hellfire added to the weak empty stomach. "Oh god!"

Lauren looked at him as fell to his knees and threw up on the floor. She was quickly knocked to the floor under Faith whom was thrown at her by a recovered demon.

The demon looked at Xander. "Really, enhanced hearing. I can hear your heart going a mile a minute and then that. The boss puts a little pressure on you and you toss your lunch."

Xander got to his feet and just stared at the demon almost like he was looking right through him.

The demon threw a punch and Willow watched as Xander caught the arm and bent it at an unnatural angle with his right arm. Xander quickly drove his left elbow down as a bone crunching break echoed through the apartment as the demon shouted in pain.

The demon held his arm and saw the broken mess. "Lucky shot!"

"Really?" Xander asked.

The Demon threw a punch with its one good arm. Xander easily ensnared it in his left arm and hoped for a humanish anatomy as he kneed him as hard as he could in the liver three times until he saw a gun in a holster.

Xander quickly took the gun off him and shot him through the back of the head. Xander watched as a demon ran in from the weapons room and walked right into the next headshot as it fell to the floor dead.

Xander ran into the next demon as it came in from the other room and simply pushed the gun into the creature's stomach firing until the gun was empty and the demon fell to the floor. Xander dropped the gun and bolted for the weapons room pulling his rifle off the wall and quickly aimed out the window and shot at the Lilliad demons only to see a blurry barrier shoot up around them stopping each shot. OK shouting time. "Hey Wes! How do I kill a Lilliad demon?"

"Light them on fire it goes through the forcefield!" The watcher's voice shouted from upstairs.

"Oh!" Xander quickly ran to the ammo drawers and grabbed a handful of pink shells and quickly loaded them. He just thought Angel wanted to update his arsenal to protect Conner but between the vamp cults, Lilliad demons apparent weaknesses, and fire just hurting all around in general. Flamethrower was an ideal weapon in that situation.

Xander aimed the rifle and quickly took aim with the shotgun. Xander fired and watched as the fire round burst right through the forcefield and lit one on fire as Xander quickly shot the other two. Xander looked as Teeth ran in the other direction and Xander quickly gave chase.

Buffy quickly jabbed the last of the muscle with a wooden stake as she got green gunk on her new toy. She watched from the window as Xander tackled the ringleader of the ambush to the ground. Buffy ran out seeing Xander aim. "Xander don't do it!"

Xander just opened fire raining a hail of gunfire into Teeth turning the creature's stomach into Swiss cheese. "Buff, I tried to give him the money back, he had every chance to just stop and he never did. It was me or him and I prefer me."

Buffy frowned seeing the point. "Why didn't you come to me for help?"

Xander shrugged. "I didn't know what you'd do after finding out I lied to you. When Jaws here bailed after last time I figured that was it."

Buffy looked at the dead demon. "So one last thing…"

"The money?"

"Yeah"

Xander walked into the motel followed by Buffy. He walked by and high fived Faith who stuck her hand up as he walked right by the watchers and Lauren.

Buffy followed him into his bedroom and saw him take out a knife. "What's the knife for?"

Xander went to his mattress and cut the stitches on the side. "I didn't know what to do with the money once the demons were dead and I got all the kids to the hospital."

Buffy looked at him. "The kids didn't report you to the cops."

"Who would believe a kid when they say a man with a hood shot up a bunch of demons."

Buffy looked at him. "You have this whole double life you know that."

"Yeah" Xander assured her. "I used the bulk of the cash to update my arsenal my supplies were nearly done." He pulled out the steel box him and Faith retrieved from the old hotel. He opened it and Buffy looked at it seeing a group of small books.

Willow looked at him. "Xander, are those bank books?"

Xander nodded. "Yeah, one of the perks of saving a banker they won't ask questions where the money comes from."

Buffy opened a bank book and saw the first one in Xander's name then one for herself, Willow, the girl Faith, someone called Tara, Jonathan and finally Cordelia. "What are these?"

"This is the rainy day fund" Xander answered honestly. "College whatever you need money for."

Willow looked the books over Xander has twelve hundred, Cordy has two thousand, and everyone else has a thousand. "Hey how come Cordy gets more then the rest of us?"

"She needs it more then we do." Xander replied.

Willow looked at him confused. Cordelia's parents are filthy rich. What does she need the cash for? A quiet moment hit her when she realized that if Cordy's getting the most that means her finances are going to take a hit soon. "Thank you for looking out for us?"

Lauren looked at him. "Are you OK? You kind of threw up after I whammied you. I thought it was an allergic reaction."

"Bad memories" Xander answered. "What did you hit me with anyway?"

Lauren held up the crystal. "Orlon Crystal, you usually keep it in a box and break it, it's much comfier that way. But it sounded urgent."

Xander nodded. "Thank you and I'm OK. Still learning things on Monday?"

Lauren nodded. "Yeah you and Tara both. I'd like to meet everyone but my shift is almost over and I have to get back before the day manager shows up."

Xander waved and saw her out.

Buffy looked at her friend it's like a stranger. "She seems nice, she the one teaching you magic."

Xander nodded. "Yeah figured I'd have something to fall back on."

Buffy looked at him. "If you ever…"

"I don't." Xander assured her. "One of the things about knowing them is being able to stop them."

Buffy looked at the dead demons. "Really? Kittens and children?"

Xander cracked a smile. "Yeah I was chasing down a vampire a little before New Year's tracked him down to the most messed up poker game seeing them barter 2 kittens and a six year old each for a full house and another guy had a flush. I didn't know how to explain that one to the police so took the kids to a block from the hospital and watched them enter. Then I just took the money and put it to good use."

Wes nodded remembering this. It sounds like he had financing lessons with Angel. During cold winters of no cases Angel would rob the more violent demons of the cases they worked or the visions Cordelia would see. Cordelia even got in on it when they robbed a clan of demons for fifty grand after they reneged on their word and tried to cut Fred's head off. "Sounds logical, Xander if everything's OK I'd like to get back to LA, if she finishes the translation she will only give it to me in person in a safe room."

Xander nodded. "I'm fine Wes go ahead." He turned to Diana. "It was nice seeing you again too."

Diana nodded. "Next time, just make sure the situation is less... hectic."

"I'll try." Xander replied.

He walked over to Faith and hugged her. "And thank you."

Faith smiled and hugged him back. "You're very welcome. Though I doubt you'll be thankful when I get my pictures published. See ya around Xan."

Xander smiled watching Wes and Diana leave after saying goodbyes to Giles, Buffy, and Willow. "Yeah you snuck a camera nearby." Faith broke the hug and just walked with a smug smile out the door with Wes and Diana. "Faith… Faith… Faith!" The future slayer said nothing as the door closed. "Man I hope she's bluffing."

Willow looked at him. "And what can be so bad if it's caught on film?"

Xander looked at her a bit nervous. "Will, I'll have you know that's between me, Faith, and a corset."

Buffy looked at him. "So you guys want to get out of here?"

Willow looked at her. "I think we still have demonic cleanup to do."

Giles shook his head. "No, I'll take care of the cleanup you three go have fun."

Xander looked at him. "Are you sure I mean technically I made most of the mess."

Giles nodded seeing the weekend he had he could use a bit of fun. Besides it's three demons in a big backyard more then enough to space to bury everything. "I'm sure. Go, have fun, all three of you."

Xander walked with Willow and Buffy. "So where we heading."

"I say mall." Buffy replied.

Willow smiled. "Well we do have the money for a big trip now."

Giles stayed in the kitchen setting up a blood bag for the basement cops won't come and he'll just say movie props if they do.

"Aren't you on the patch you just had a birthday blowout."

"Those never work Xander."

"Sue a guy for trying."

Giles just let out a quiet smile just hearing the three of them happy and healthy. That's enough for him to just enjoy the moment as he got Angel's blood setup.

Xander came home exhausted. He forgot there was shopping and then there was Buffy Summers shopping she didn't take any money from him but there was enough for her to keep him going for hours. They got a nice two hour break in the form of a movie but then another three hours of shopping. It was worth it though to be with his friends. Also Willow seems a lot more tolerant then before so maybe the amnesia was a good thing. Anya reaped her vengeance so not much she can do now. Giles seems to have taken care of the demons like he said he would so free time for him alone in his house.

Xander walked up the steps to his house stretching kind of thankful he didn't see anything as he came in. How is it out of all the people he gave money to he's the one with the smallest bank book at two hundred dollars? Xander walked up to a musty old Metallic Cabinet as he worked the lock on it with his keys. He went into his back and pulled out his tranq gun adding it back into the weapons safe then pushes the door shut and reattached the lock.

Xander walked into his room and saw it as a disheveled mess like a hurricane ran through it. Instead of surprise Xander just let out a disappointed and expected sigh as he went into the vent and retrieved his journal and a pen. He looked through it finding the big bads page. He crossed out the unknown next to Glory and replaced it with 'KILL BEN!'. Xander took a breath kind of sad to have that one back. Snake's memories were caused by magic but it was still Snake's very human memories. That came back with the rest of his memories and since it was more then another human's memory that restored it he's guessing he's stuck with it and went to the next blank page.

Xander leaned back on his bed ready to write only to hear an undignified mix squish and splash from his elbow. He lifted his elbow up and saw a glob of peanut butter with a piece of banana in it. "Ughhh, man!"

Xander walked to the bathroom and went to work washing his arm. He knew he forgot to tell Giles and Jenny something. Giles took care of the demonic corpses and Jenny was on Dawn patrol. He doesn't mind the younger Summers torpedoing his room after Angelus nearly killed him and her in the high school but he doesn't want her eating in his room considering her appetites.

Xander wiped the last of the peanut butter banana surprise off his arm and threw the toilet paper in the trash. "You eat like a pig Dawnie." Xander's eyes widened in fear the realization finally hitting him. The monks do good work. "Oh my God!"
