These next two chapters are kind of minichapters but that's alright ;) we have so much for this story so sorry if it all is extremely rushed! We're trying to fix that up a bit ;) so in a few chapters some may be longer because of that!

Thanks so much for the reviews and for reading this we all really do love it!

We would specially like to thank realisticFantasy (your review was too kind and I could not stop smiling after reading it), NatNicole (for reading and I have an idea for playing with the chi blocking... that may not end as well as it should), and along with that all of the people who have favorited and followed and even have just read this story! We love you all so much and what you guys pitch to us does matter! We do keep that into account when writing :D

Cameron

I kept my palm pressed up against my face, trying to stop the bleeding. Falling from Aapa and into a random swamp while also being separated from the group was not fun. In case you didn't know.

"I hate this place…" I grumbled shoving leaves out of my face. Part of me just wanted to burn it down yet… no. I couldn't do that. It probably would bite me in the ass later if I did end up doing that…

I pushed my way further and further through the bushes. When I had landed (in a puddle mind you) I managed to smack my head on something which made me to start bleeding right above my eye. I was lucky that my eye didn't get stabbed out.

The fact that it hurt like a mother to move the upper half of my face told me that it would probably bruise along with probably leave a scar once it did actually heal.

To get all of the water off of me I had to focus on my chi- letting it warm me and the water quickly evaporated after that. It was a pretty cool trick if you asked me though the only problem was that it left all of the extra muck stuck to me. Not fun.

"Aang! Dude where are you?!" I called. The fact that I couldn't find him worried me the most. He was the Avatar and people would want to take advantage of him because of that.

Anyways I wasn't ready to let that happen. The perky airbender was like a brother to me.

"Cammy!" A familiar yet unfamiliar voice called from my right causing me to spin around. A child was weaving through the trees- Immediately I called after him, almost subconsciously I started to sprint towards him.

"Cam! Come onnn! I wanna pet the turtle ducks!" The kid turned and I saw his face. That familiar… baby face. He didn't really have a baby's face… it was just that he still had a decent amount of his baby fat. That was what got me.

"Zu?" I breathed and his eyes widened at the sight of me. He opened his mouth as if to call again when a scream filled the air.

"Katara?"

I spun around searching for the water tribe girl. Everything about this place set me on edge and if she was in danger… I wouldn't be surprised.

Another scream that I didn't want to recognize and I spun around, pushing my way through the trees searching for Sokka. My throat tightened at the thought of him getting hurt. Sokka was, like Aang, a brother to me. We wouldn't be the group if he… I didn't even want to think about it.

A high pitch, blood curdling scream filled the air. One that I didn't recognize. Frowning I looked up to see a bird with it's mouth wide open. I frowned trying to figure out what the hell was going on. There was silence for a moment and I watched it. Keeping my eyes on the damned thing.

It opened its mouth- a scream that sounded like Zhao's filled the air and I let out my own battle cry sending a burst of flames at it.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I roared and watched satisfied as the bird flew off panicked. Not uttering a scream.

With a groan I collapsed onto the swamp floor ready to give up. My head was hurting and my friends' screams echoed through my mind. Why did shit like this always have to happen?
