This is the first part of this chapter I hope you enjoy.

Regina walked down the quiet halls of the castle one last time. She opened Snow's door to make sure she was asleep before she left. She watched Snow and her father sleep for a few moments but knew she needed to head out. She finally made her way to her to Alexandria's room to take her with the trip. She grabbed a couple of outfits for her.

Daniel walked into the stables watching Regina talking to Rocinante, as she was carrying Alexandria in one arm. "You made it." He stated.

Regina turned her head towards Daniel with a smile. "And you don't think I would."

"You are giving up your whole…"

"No I'm not." Regina cut him off. "I'm not giving up anything you are my family. You two are the only thing I need." She handed Alexandria to Daniel. She pulled him for a quick kiss, "Come on we need to leave."

"Do you want to take Rocinante?"

"I would love to take her." She expressed. She watched Daniel walked over to her stall. She loved her horse that she had since she was seven. Regina knew that they needed to take as little as possible so no one can track them. "But we can't."

"Are you sure?" He asked as he watched her nod her head. "Okay come on I know we are staying tonight."

The couple walked up to Daniel's parents' place. Regina was nervous to be in the same house as his parents. "Daniel; are you sure?" She asked her love touching his arm.

Daniel turned to Regina with a smile, "Yes they are going to be fine. They will love you, and I want them to meet Alexandria before we leave and give them a proper goodbye." Daniel explained.

Regina loved how dedicated Daniel was to his family. "Okay" Daniel handed Regina their daughter before entering the place.

Daniel walked into the house that was still up. He looked at his mother who is usually in bed at that hour. "Now before you say anything, I can explain." He waved Regina to come in who was taking her time walking in.

Patricia and Richard watched Regina walk in the house with their grandchild in her hand. "Daniel what are you two doing?" Richard asked standing up from the table.

Daniel quickly closed the door, "I wanted you to meet your grandchild, before we leave in the morning."

Patricia didn't know that they were actually going to be together. "Leaving?" She questioned with upset in her eyes.

Daniel sat down next to his mother, "Mom, I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't know all the details. We still don't. But you two have reminded me what we already know; we can't be together if she is married to the king. And she can't just ask him to leave." Daniel took his mother's hand and pleaded her to understand what they were doing.

Regina thought she could less the tension to the situation, "Would you like to hold her?" Patricia looked at her tiny granddaughter, and couldn't resist the baby. She took Alexandria out of Regina's arms. Patricia's heart melted with Alexandria in her arms, and knew that if they were to be together this would be the way. A tear fell down her cheek smiling at her grandchild.

"So you two think this is going to solve your problems?" Richard questioned. "You don't think anyone is going to recognize the queen, where are you going to live? And you are going to worry about all that and you have a child to worry about as well." Richard snapped out of being worried of his child.

"Father," Daniel stated.

"No Daniel, I've put up with your foolishness long enough. If you want to do this and risk your life..."

Daniel finally cut his father, "For my family, yes I can say that I am, and I didn't have to tell you that we were leaving, or let you meet Alexandria." Daniel finally stood up to his father and couldn't stop. "But I did because I love you and I'm going to miss you. But I am going to leave with the woman that loves me as much as I love her. So I can look at her every day like you do with mom. This is going to happen." Daniel stated walking out of the kitchen to head into his room.

Regina felt like the awkward person in room, and she felt that checking on Daniel would be better than to stand there. "I'm… uh… going to check on him. Here; do you want me to take her." She leaned down to pick up Alexandria.

"No." Patricia stated looking up into Regina's eyes with a smile. "I've got her."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Richard watched Regina walk into Daniel's room, knowing he probably should have kept his thoughts to himself. He looked at his loving wife holding their grandchild. "Do you think I was too hard on him?"

"Yes I do." She informed seeing the upset on her husband's face. "I know you are worried, but he is your son, and he is going to do what he wants."

Richard sat down on next to her, "And?" He questioned knowing his wife was going to say something else.

"I don't want you to ruin the rest of your life with the last night with him is going to be a fight and you calling him foolish. Here hold her." She commanded handing her husband the baby.

Regina closed the door to Daniel's room watching Daniel placing his last bit of items in his bag. "Are you okay?" She enjoyed looking at his tiny room and loved the coziness of it.

"No." Daniel sat down on the bed. "Why can't he be supportive?"

Regina sat down next to him, and placed her hand on his knee. "He loves and he wants best for you."

"He's right. You know that, we have no idea what we are going to do, and we have to think of Alexandria."

Regina looked at the stress on Daniel, and knew that she wants him to be happy. She doesn't want to force him to be on the run for her. "You don't have to do this if you don't want." She looked in his eyes as she played with his hair.
