Chapter 21
(Normal Pov)
"So, are you and Natsu dating?" Mira asks with her nose nearly touching Lucy's.
"Umm, what are you talking about?" Lucy shoves her notebook in front of her face.
"I heard you kissed Natsu the other day." She smirks.
"From who?" Lucy raises a brow.
"A little bird," Mira shrugs.
"It's a shame Juvia and Mira-san couldn't go to the beach with you guys. The Café was really busy that day. I really wanted to show Gray-Sama my bikini." Juvia pouts.
Mira giggles.
"So, did anything happen at the beach?" Mira leaned in again.
'Sheesh this is annoying.' Lucy mentally sighed. 'Why doesn't she get her 'little birdie' to tell her?'
Lucy walked over to Natsu and whacked him in the head with her book before shoving it in his face. "Natsu lets go grocery shopping." Lucy heads to the door.
"What if I don't wan-" Natsu was stopped by Lucy's killer death glare.
She grabbed the disguise hats and glasses and dragged Natsu out of HQ and to the supermarket.
"So Luce, what are we getting?" Natsu rested his arms behind his head.
"Umm, I'm not sure. I just wanted to get out of there." Lucy sighed and went to grab a shopping basket.
Lucy was lucky to escape Mira's questioning while she could. Mira was the match-making queen from hell and she always got the information she wanted eventually. Oh and if any of you are thinking if it's annoying for Lucy to be carrying around a note-book all day. Well, yes, yes it is. However Lucy doesn't know sign language and neither does any of the others, so it was pretty pointless to learn it.
"Hmm, Natsu when we get back let's make smoothies." Lucy smiled.
"Sure." Natsu grinned back.
Lucy secretly blushed.
"Hmm, I feel like star fruit although don't think it will taste good in a smoothie." Lucy sighed picking up a star fruit.
"Well, I feel like some dragon fruit. So, why don't we buy three of each and try mixing them together but have one left over of each just to eat by itself." Natsu picked out some dragon fruits.
"Hey, that's not a bad idea. However, will star fruit and dragon fruit taste good together?" Lucy questioned.
"Dunno, never tried it." Natsu smirked.
"Well, what should our back up smoothie be if that doesn't work?" Lucy asked.
"MANGO SMOOTHIE!" Natsu cheered.
Lucy giggled at his childishness and nods in agreement.
Once Lucy and Natsu had the ingredients for the star/dragon fruit smoothie and the ingredients for the backup mango smoothie. They headed back to HQ. Both quite excited to find out the taste of the two fruits combined. (AN/ I have no idea what star fruit and dragon fruit taste together so I'm guessing.)
Lucy gasped, "Oh my god, I forgot."
"What?!" Natsu asked.
"What if the others want some smoothie?" Lucy pouts.
"Well, screw them they can go make their own." Natsu grinned.
'Of course Natsu would say that,' Lucy sighed.
Once the two got into HQ they headed straight to the kitchen to start their experiment with star and dragon fruit.
(With the other band members, Mira, Levy, Juvia and Erza)
Everyone was watching Natsu and Lucy from behind the couch.
"Look, they are having fun," Levy squealed, but not loud enough for Natsu and Lucy to hear.
"Well, they are best friends," Gajeel grunted.
"That's beside the point," Erza interjected.
"They are so cute. I want them to have many babies," Mira mumbled the last bit.
Everyone sweat dropped.
"Juvia is happy for Lucy-san and Natsu-san," Juvia smiled. 'Hehehe, more Gray-Sama for me.'
"Why am I even watching them?" Gray sighed.
"I hope Lu-Chan gets her voice back soon so she can admit her feelings to Natsu!" Levy half squealed.
"Hey, what fruits did they use in the smoothies?" Jellal asked.
"They are making a star fruit and dragon fruit smoothie and a backup mango smoothie." Gray answered.
Mira, Levy and Erza smirked.
They boys shivered in fear.
(Back to Natsu and Lucy)
"Yay we are finished," Natsu cheered.
"Now we get to try it :)" Lucy smiled brightly.
They poured the smoothie mixture into two thin, tall glasses and they put the glasses together making them clink, before taking a sip.
"Wow this is pretty good," Natsu grinned.
Lucy nodded in agreement.
(Back with the others)
The girls started giggling with a smirk still on their beautiful faces.
'Why are the girls smirking a laughing?' all the guys thought in unison.
Did anyone get why the girls were smirking?
