Naruto smirked a bit as he stared at the demon that stood before him. This was a battle that he was going to enjoy, an assassin? They were normally the best kind of fighters though, he just hoped that this would be interesting. The only thing he hoped and prayed for was that Hinata and Hiashi didn't get stuck in the crossfire… Turning to look over his shoulder, the young man calmly said "you both better hide. I don't know how much damage I'll do to this demon." Hiashi looked like he didn't want to comply, though it seemed that he agreed as he pushed himself up to his feet and grabbed Hinata and got out of there as quickly as he could.

"So, the great Prince of Fox demons… didn't think you'd lower yourself to trying to save some humans. They are nothing but food for us, yet… you're going to risk yourself for them?!" growled the assassin. It seemed that he was another demon that only saw humans as food. There was no way that he was going to allow this to happen. He had to protect Hinata, he had to protect Hiashi.

"Not going to say anything brat? Normally the great prince speaks smack but it seems that you aren't going to show me that impressive talk of yours." Naruto remained silent, he just glared at the demon, and he wanted to kill this bastard though he wanted to know why he was sent to kill Hinata. That didn't make sense unless he was working for someone else in the demon clans that wanted him out of the way by killing her? That couldn't be possible, no one knew that he had proposed to her other than Sasuke and… well, he hadn't told his parents for sure yet, and he wanted to do that with Hinata.

The assassin glared at the fox demon as he growled out "say something damn it!" To think about it, maybe it didn't matter if he wanted to know the reason. The only thing that mattered was to make this fucker pay for wanting to even kill her. Just for the thought of killing her, he was going to pay with his life.

Naruto's lips slowly lifted into a smirk as he said "you're going to die." With that said, the young man rushed forward, pulling his sword off of its chain, watching it transform from the corner of his eye before he swung the transformed blade at the assassin. Of course, the assassin was rather surprised by the speed that Naruto possessed… and to be honest, so was the fox demon himself. He didn't think he had gotten that fast, though he had noticed, that since his battle with Kuro and Gaidoku, that he had been getting stronger… though it wasn't slowly so he never noticed.

"You've gotten faster fox… didn't think that would have been possible." Said the assassin before he swung his own sword at Naruto. Though, the young man managed to block the sword from making contact with his flesh. "You bastard!" shouted the assassin before he dropped down and kicked under Naruto's legs. Though, the assassin wasn't expecting Naruto to use his tails to stop his fall, and wrap the assassin's waist and throw him aside.

"You won't win that easily." Growled the assassin.

"Funny, I was about to say that to you." Answered Naruto with a smirk on his face. He flexed his claws of his free hand, preparing himself for another fight, he knew that he would have to be prepared for anything that may come, such as if he lost his sword in the battle. Tightening his hold on his swords hilt, the young man narrowed his now burning crimson eyes as he said "I won't let you hurt them. I will make sure that you die here and now…" With that said, the young man rushed forward, he almost seemed like nothing but a blur of orange and red.

The assassin though was smart, that was for sure. He managed to throw a dart and it made contact with Naruto's shoulder and it caused a burning sensation through his shoulder. Wincing in pain, he ripped the dart from his shoulder and to the ground. "The fuck?" He growled, feeling his shoulder growing weaker though not overly so. Grabbing his shoulder, he winced a bit, feeling slight pain but it was bearable. "What did you do to me?!"

Chuckling, the mystery demon assassin calmly said "that dart was infused with sacred sake that the monks and priests or anyone of holy background would use. I had to make sure I could slow you down. You are my true target but… I couldn't find you." He threw his head back and laughed before adding "so I thought I'd attack and kill that woman! She was the best target that I could find!"

He felt something in him snap once again, though it wasn't as bad as the other time that this had happened. Now he felt a little more in control over himself, and it made things a lot easier for him to handle at this moment. This moment itself, was something that he would spend it on to killing this fucker for what he had almost done to Hinata and her father. Tightening his grip on his sword, Naruto could feel the power building up within him, he almost felt like he would burst from the amount of power that was filling him up. Though, before it even came close to reaching that point, it stopped…

It almost seemed like this power was preparing him for something, though what it was he had no idea but what he did know… was that he was planning to kick this guy's ass and make him beg for mercy for messing with his woman! Growling, Naruto's eyes started to glow a bright crimson before he took a few steps towards the assassin, he knew what he was going to do now… and he would follow through with his plan. No matter what.

Letting out a yell, the assassin ran toward Naruto with a speed that only a true assassin could possess. Though, to be honest Naruto could clearly see his movements, his vision became sharper with this guy… Smirking, Naruto just stood there while the assassin ran circles around him, a sword in his hand as he prepared himself to attack him without being stopped. Or so he thought anyway. When his sword went to strike, Naruto managed to block the strikes with his own sword.

It seemed though that the assassin was mad, for he kept on trying to attack him. No matter what though, his blade did not make contact with Naruto's flesh. Narrowing his eyes, the assassin went in for a strike, which was blocked once more… Only, that was all a ruse for the assassin pulled out another sword and slashed across Naruto's chest. Naruto cried out in pain before falling flat on his back only to yelp when the assassin had jumped in the air and was aiming to impale Naruto in his chest. The man rolled out of the way before kicking the assassin against the side of his ribs.

The assassin growled at Naruto, his anger was growing with each second at Naruto's defiance. Naruto chuckled a little before gripping his chest. The blood that seeped from the wound stained his palm and clothes… He didn't think it would hurt him this much though at the moment, he didn't give a damn… his shoulder had started to regain feeling from the dart that had been used against him and for that, he was thankful though even if it was still weak from the dart, that wouldn't stop him from wanting to kick this guy's ass!

"So… Naruto, answer me this." Asked the assassin, a smirk gracing through his mask. This of course had caused Naruto to stare in confusion though he hid that from the mystery man. At least for the time being, for now he was more curious than anything else. "Do you really feel bad… for almost killing that human? Before you killed Kuro? Or, did you feel a thrill from it?" asked the assassin. Naruto's head was lowered, his hair covered his eyes as he thought back to what had happened. Chuckling, the assassin said "I bet it felt great though. After all, humans are nothing but meat for us, for us to feed from and replenish our energy and power! Is that why you keep that human with you? She must have amazing chakra for you to feed from if she is still alive…"

"How… dare you…" Naruto growled out softly.

"Hm?"

Naruto growled darkly as he lifted his shadowed eyes as he glared at the assassin. His glare was so hard and deadly that the assassin would have been burned to ashes and blown away by the wind. "You son of a bitch. I'm not like you." He said, flexing his claws after setting his sword back on its chain when it had reverted to its original form. For this, he was going to fight with his claws, he wouldn't use his sword anymore… at least for now. "I would never even think about killing a human. What I did was a mistake, and its one that I regret to this day."

"Why would you regret it though? After all, humans are nothing to us and never shall be anything to us. We are only to feed from them and they are to die…" said the assassin with a shrug to his shoulders before glaring at the fox demon. Naruto though growled a little before breathing deeply.

"Shut the fuck up!" shouted Naruto before throwing a fire ball at the assassin, causing him to scream out in pain. Naruto rushed forward and grabbed a hold of the man's shirt and lifted him off of the ground. "You fucker! Humans are more than that! Humans are people we can all get along with, they can be our friends! Our lovers, if we have chosen… you would never understand!" With that said, Naruto threw him, then rushed forward and wrapped his hand around the demon's throat and into the ground.

The assassin groaned from the pain before he shoved his hand against Naruto's face and shoved him off. To be honest, he hadn't expected the fox to have felt so strongly about the whole thing, though he wasn't going to allow this to go… he would find something to kill him… yet, not to kill him. Smirking, he said "why are you so against it? You are a demon are you not? Demons kill humans, humans are nothing."

"I'm not like you! I am a demon yes, but I'm not a monster!" shouted Naruto before he shot out another fire ball at him. The only thing that kept Naruto from going mad with his desire to kill, was Hinata… Her smile, he never wanted that to fail… to fail her, to cause her to frown at him that he had killed someone again in cold blood… When he had almost killed someone he didn't think he could handle it again… What if next time, he would end up killing someone? He would never allow that again, Hinata's smile was enough to keep him sane… that was all he needed.

"But demons are monsters. After all, we are to kill humans… cause them distress." Said the assassin with a smirk.

Growling all the more, the young man sent out gusts of wind to slice up the assassin. Though not enough to kill him, but to at least immobilize him. "Never! I make humans happy, so long as I can do whatever I can to keep her from frowning, Hinata will always smile so long as I live!" With that, he rushed forward and kicked him in the stomach. Then, he sent in a punch and stood on his hands as he kicked the demon in the head before standing back up on his feet and punched him in the face. "I'll never be like you! Or Kuro, never!"

With that said, Naruto rushed forward with his new found speed. He didn't really remember much of anything after that point, the only thing he could recall, was him punching and kicking at the assassin. He could feel blood staining his flesh, tears at his shirt but nothing that he couldn't handle. It all just seemed rather hard for him to handle anything that was going on in his life, but the only thing that had meant anything to him, was Hinata. She was the light in the darkness and maybe why, he had wanted to better himself… He did it because he loved her and it was of his own free will.

The assassin though, he felt no such love for anyone other than money… or the desire to kill. That was something that he wouldn't allow to happen. No one should die by this monster's hands and he would make sure of it. He would cripple him, make sure that this monster never hurt anyone again. Lucky for him, he still had the dart that contained sacred energy. That would be enough to paralyze him if he hit the right point in his body.

Coming around, Naruto didn't know when, but it had seemed that while he was in his haze, that he had managed to lift the dart and hid it, that would be enough for him. He didn't dare question it nor did he care at this point. The only thing he cared about was to kill this fucker-no… he wasn't going to do that. He wasn't like him, he was an honorable demon, someone who wanted to be worthy to Hinata, not someone who would always kill.

The assassin didn't seem to be in bad shape, he could still stand anyway. The demon glared at Naruto, he wanted to kill him at this point it seemed or, it was something else. He had no idea but he had a feeling that he wasn't going to like it very much. Preparing himself for a tackle, Naruto had to wait for the right moment if this was going to work… He had to make sure that the timing was right or he would end up risking what his plan was.

"Do you really think you can beat me?! I have a faster healing ability than you! You can never kill me! I am immortal!" shouted the assassin as he rushed at the fox demon. The blonde haired man narrowed his eyes, carefully moving his arms before the assassin could do any harm, and Naruto held his wrists with his tail before fishing out the dart and jammed it down into the demon's spin.

"Wh-what did you do!?" shouted the assassin as he staggered away from Naruto. It was working! There was still some of that stuff in the dart after all! Smiling, Naruto made his way toward the assassin, who was having trouble staying on his feet. It was working its way through his body already and for that, he was thankful though he couldn't help but wonder, what it would do to him after. Would it stay in his system forever or would it ware off after a few hours? Either way, he didn't know nor did he care, it would be long enough for him to get some of the guards to take him away and lock him up for good.

"Used your own weapon against you. Soon, you won't be able to move at all…" Naruto answered, his eyes cold yet calm and collected. This was the only thing that made him feel happy, or at least feel a little more at peace. Closing his eyes, he calmly said "just think about what you've done and you'll get what you deserve."

"You're going to kill me aren't you!? Just like what you did to Kuro…" growled the assassin.

"No I'm not. I'm not a monster like you. The guards will come and take you away to a cell that will remove your powers so you can never harm anyone again. I'll make sure of that." Calmly said Naruto before he went to fish out his phone to talk to a guard…

"Now, I can't allow him to go to jail." Said a voice, one that Naruto knew and wanted to kill more than anyone he knew. Lifting his gaze, he saw Gaidoku, just sitting on a street light just smiling down at the two demons. He chuckled a little before moving his way over to the assassin as if he had merely teleported next to the fallen demon. "You see, he is much too valuable to me to let go. I can't have that." Smirked the demon.

"Ha! You'll help me, thank you master. I don't know how to repay you!" said the assassin with a smile on his face.

For some reason though, Naruto wasn't sure what it was that was going to happen, but knew that it couldn't be good right now. Gulping, Naruto went to get Gaidoku, but the demon held out his hand and shot out a blast of energy that sent Naruto flying back. He growled in pain before looking up and stared in shock. "You see, you would have saved me a lot of trouble if you had killed him Naruto. Sadly, you have left things in my hands." Gaidoku held out his hand over the assassin, a dark, cruel and twisted grin was on his face as his hand glowed a bright toxic green. "The dead after all, may speak but cannot if there are no remains."

As soon as he had said that, Naruto's eyes widened in shock and went to save the assassin. "Stop it!" shouted Naruto… but before he could, Gaidoku had already released poison and it started to eat away at the assassin's body. The man screamed and cried out in pain as he begged and pleaded for Gaidoku to save him, for anyone to save him… though no matter what, no help would come for no one, could stop the poison of a Poison Demon… it was impossible… before he could blink, the assassin was gone… as was Gaidoku. "Damn you Gaidoku!" shouted Naruto.
