Cookies to who can point out where in the story I got the middle names of all of the moon children two of them are easy.
Austin
Three years later.
"Cayla Amara Moon! You are going to put your underwear on whether you like it or not; now come here or you aren't going to get any cake after dinner." I half yelled at my two year old daughter who was running around the house naked as the day she was born.
"Come on honey it's not that hard. I already have the boys and Kaitlynn dressed." Ally said from the kitchen. Ever since our big job three years ago we have had at least one yearly get together and this time it was at our house slash hobby farm.
"The boys listen to you and Kaitlynn is only three months old." I said no with Cayla under my arm as I carried her back to her room to finish dressing her.
"I'm sure it's that and not the fact that you always make a game of catching them that is the reason why they always run from you."
"You know it." I said flashing my beautiful wife a cheesy grin. We found out about a month after the job that Ally was pregnant with not one but three beautiful little angels. About seven and a half months later Erick Dezmond Moon, Joseph Monet Moon, and our surprise girl Cayla Amara Moon then between the lack of sleep from three one year olds and planning a wedding Ally found out she was pregnant with our second daughter Kaitlynn Trisha Moon. When we found out that she was pregnant again we bought a hundred acre farm in Montana where we had a small wedding a month before Kate was born. We now live almost completely forgotten by law enforcement with three ponies, two cows, a pig, goat, and donkey an unknown amount of chickens, ducks, and peacocks. Along with two dogs a couple barn cats, a bearded dragon, fish and finally a cockatoo.
Trish and Dez were married in a small court house wedding a few weeks after the job followed by a huge lavish reception and honey moon. They had one year and half old boy named Tobias Abilio Wade. They were living a couple miles away in a farm house closer to town.
Elliot and Phoebe were now engaged after a three month split when suburban life got to phoebe. They are now living in a high rise in New York with Archer still very active in the world of art and antiquities. Of course Phoebe was now six months pregnant and not really supposed to be active at the moment not that she didn't try.
Dallas was still a prick but he lived alone and had the freedom to be that way. Word was that there is a new hacker though that is blazing past previously un cracked systems and he is trying to keep as much face as possible despite having his backside handed to him by a newer younger hacker.
"Dez and Trish are here is Cayla dressed yet?" Ally hollered up the stairs as me.
"Almost, just putting her braid in." I said trying to get the last few blond strands tucked neatly away. Who knew the steady fingers needed to crack a safe were also useful for French braids, painting nails, and finding whatever splinter had the audacity to stick itself into the children's fingers.
"Daddy are you done yeeeeet. Tobias said he has a frog and I want to seeeeeee it."
"I know I know three more seconds. There perfect now you look just like princess Anna."
"Daddy I don't want to be Anna! Anna is silly she thinks Hans likes her I want to be Elsa she's smart."
"Okay then you look like Elsa. Thank you daddy." She said as she stood on her tip toes and kissed me on my nose before turning around and running down screaming about Tobias's frog.
"How's parenthood?" Dez asked as he walked up the steps.
"To fast and not fast enough. It seems like yesterday she was just saying dada for the first time. But then getting up three four times a night with Kate has me so exhausted I can't wait till she's sleeping through the night but I know as soon as she is then I'm going to miss getting up with her.
"I totally understand. We finally are caught up on sleep and Trish is talking about another one or two."
"Enjoy the sleep while you can. I wish there was a bank I could have stored up energy from before the kids."
"I totally understand. We should head out Elliot, Phoebe, and Megan pulled in right as we did and I'm sure Elliot is in need of a beer and male company since Archer went to start a con over somewhere in Spain."
"With Phoebes hormones; defiantly, you remember Ally with the triplets."
"Hahahaha I didn't think you two were going to make it there for a bit."
"You and me both."
"THERE you are. Please tell me that the screaming and crying is normal." Elliot said a wide look of panic in his eyes.
"She asked for ice cream so I got her some but then she started crying because I didn't love her because the ice cream was to hard so when I warmed it up she started yelling at me because she wanted ice cream not dairy soup. Is that normal?" Dez and I looked at each other and just laughed.
"Totally normal." We said in sync
"Thank goodness. I thought I was going crazy and imagining half of it. Dubai 2008 wasn't even this confusing."
"Just wait until it's all said and done then you both will be talking nonsense from lack of sleep. But then you at least get to be crazy together." Dez said making a heart shape with his fingers.
"Nothing like a slow descent into madness to bring you closer together." I added.
"Boys stop complaining and come eat everything is hot and all the kids are finally sitting." Ally called over.
"Coming" We all replied.
Half way through the meal the loud roar of Dallas' sport car could be heard long before it was seen causing all the kids to go crazy for their "Favorite" uncle. They all were already taking after us knowing that when they called Dallas their favorite that he gave them bigger and more expensive gifts.
"Guess who has ARRIVED!" Dallas said. This was followed by a groan from the adults and a collective cheer from the children.
The evening went on without hitch. After dinner there was the usual bon fire followed by everyone finding a bed or couch to sleep on and in the morning everyone would be on their way back home.
That night Ally and I only got up two times with Kate and I knew that it would be the beginning of the end of a period in our lives but as we woke up that morning tangled together not ready to enter the real world yet I knew that there wasn't a person I would rather enter the next period of life with.
