Last filler chapter! Next chapter is the war, then I'll do a homecoming chapter.
~~~~Hermione's POV~~~~
When I saw Ron and Harry come down from their dormitory, I sprang up, causing my Demigod class homework to fall on the floor. I hastily picked it up, then walked over to them.
"Don't talk about our meeting," I hissed at them. They nodded. Harry nodded to my homework.
"Can we work with you?" he asked. I shrugged and nodded.
Both he and Ron walked over to my table. I had gotten half way through my homework last night, but I wanted to finish it today.
"Why are we having homework today, with You-Know-Who attacking?" Ron grumbled.
"They will probably still ask for it, and they want to test us in what we know," I said matter-of-factly.
"Name the 12 Olympians and what they control," muttered Harry, skimming over the question. "Hermione?"
I shook my head. Copying is wrong, and so is giving people answers, I thought angrily.
I was now at word problems.
Mary is walking down the street. She is suddenly jumped by ten Cyclopes. She only has a dagger and the Cyclopes are armed with clubs. There are several mortals by Mary, and a demigod residence half a mile away. What should Mary do?
Ron was looked over my shoulder to read the word problems.
"Wouldn't Mary attack the Cyclops?" he asked. I glared at him and shook my head. He frowned and I dipped my quill in my ink pot to start writing.
Thirty minutes later, I had finished my homework. Harry was at the word problems, and Ron seemed to be almost done.
"Can you check this?" Ron asked, leaning back on his chair. I held out my hand and felt a roll of parchment hit it. I glanced over it.
When I was done, I started pointing out mistakes.
"Okay, Zeus is not the god of headmasters, and problem 25 is wrong, but I think that was just a simple mistake, and you should check this, cross this out, see, like this."
He took the parchment back from my hand and frowned at his first problem.
"What is he the god of?" Ron muttered, more to himself than me. He flipped the parchment worksheet and corrected his simple mistake and corrected the things I showed him.
Meanwhile, Harry handed me his paper. I nodded, pointed out a few mistakes, and handed the worksheet back to Harry.
Just as Harry corrected his mistakes, it was time for breakfast. We paraded down with the rest of the Gryffindors, towards the Great Hall.
Ron, Harry, and I slipped down next to the demigods, who were whispering to themselves. When they saw us, they hastily went silent. Annabeth, Percy, Ron, Harry, and I seemed to reach a silent agreement.
Don't talk about last night.
Somehow, though, I felt even closer to Annabeth, who was one of my friends ever since I helped her test her plan on the war. She gave a wan smile at us, then went back to talking with Percy.
Dumbledore stood, and the Hall went silent.
Dumbledore smiled. "As you all know, we have sources saying that Voldemort will attack today. Lucky for us, we have a very clever daughter of Athena with us, who has a plan to make you your fullest!" He nodded at the Gryffindor table, then sat down. Annabeth and Percy stood up.
"Okay, we have talked about this with the rest of the seven, and we agreed that this plan will be good," Annabeth said, but stopped and looked at Percy.
"I believe, dear Wise Girl, that you mean, I told everyone the plan, and everyone was so amazed at it's awesomeness so nobody said anything. Don't you?" Percy was wearing a smirk.
"Shut up, Seaweed Brain!"
"As her Majesty wishes."
"Σας προειδοποιώ!" {I'm warning you!}
"Αλλά γιατί; Είμαι πάρα πολύ φοβερό, και έχουν σώσει τον κόσμο πάρα πολλές φορές να δολοφονήθηκε από τη φίλη μου!" {But why? I'm too awesome, and have saved the world too many times to be murdered by my girlfriend!}
"Stop boasting and let me finish!" Annabeth said, glaring at Percy. Percy nodded like this was a very good idea.
"Anyway," Annabeth continued, "we think that we all should try to remain in the Great Hall, so we are all ready to fight. We will call you by your house and year to have you fitted with armor and weapons. You will be able to do whatever, as long as it's appropriate. The teachers will circle around the room. Ummm... anything else?" Annabeth directed the last sentence to the demigods.
"We can give additional training if necessary?" Frank said, phrasing it like a question. Annabeth nodded and sat down again.
"Now that we have the demigods' plan, I think we may all eat. Tuck in!" And with that, Dumbledore sat down again and began to eat.
~~~~Annabeth's POV~~~~
Dumbledore had magically made the tables disappear from the Great Hall. Everyone was in little groups, talking and glancing at the doors.
We gave them a little time, then walked over to the weapons shack, which also magically contained armor.
"Okay, who wants to do what?" Piper asked.
"Well, one person should call the people up, one person should fit them with armor, one should give them the right weapons, and the rest can give personal assistance, give instructions, and so on," I said. Everyone nodded.
"I think Piper should call the wizards up, since she's good with words," Jason said, grinning at Piper. She blushed.
"You'll do great," Hazel assured her. I nodded.
"Oh... okay," Piper said, giving in.
"Annabeth, Athena's about strategy, isn't it? So you should be the one to give people wizards the right weapons. 'Member what you said the first day I was at camp? "Athena's all about strategy. Matching the right weapon to the right person." And, you've been doing this stuff for nine years," Piper said to me. I nodded.
"Okay, I'll do it," I agreed.
"And Jason should fit everyone's armor, he's been in the demigod world since he was 3!" Frank added.
"Okay, everyone, places!"
Everyone scrambled, and I walked over to the weapon cabinet. Immediately, it split into two cabinets, one with armor; one with weapons. Magic is so unreliable.
Piper began to call people, and I focused on one thing: pairing weapons with people.

Finally, we got everyone armed. As we walked to an empty space on the floor, Hermione, Ron, and Harry raced up to us. We smiled and waved, then sat down together.
"Well, this is it," Ron said. He looked a bit uncomfortable with the spear in his hands, but he had his wand in his back pocket, so I knew he'd be okay.
"Not really. There's always something after, isn't there?" Frank looked a lot more comfortable with his bow in his hands.
"I suppose so." Hermione was holding her bow tightly.
I pulled out my sword and my invisibility hat. Percy grinned when he saw it.
I raised my eyebrows and tucked it in my wand-less back pocket. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were called over by Dean, and so was Leo.
"Got yourself some friends, Repair Boy?" Piper asked. He smirked and walked away.
"I love you, Piper."
"I love you too, Jason."
Piper and Jason began to kiss, and the rest of us looked away. Soon, though, Hazel and Frank were doing the same thing.
Percy looked at me lovingly, then leaned down. I leaned up, and our lips met.
When we were done, I rested my head on his chest, not saying anything. Hermione, Harry, Ron, and Leo walked back to us.
That's when we heard the explosion. And that's when the battle started.
Ta-da! It might take a little longer to write the war, I have no idea. But I hope you liked this chapter!
