Yay! New Chapter! Sorry I took so long. As for all responses I got from my question, I decided to do both; fix the holes AND finish the story. That's kind of why I took so long... I fixed chapter 4, so if you want to go back and read that, feel free. If you do so, let me know if you see anything else werid or whatever.

Song for the chapter (has nothing to do with actual chapter, it's just the song I just happened to be listening to as I type this.. right now): Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People

Happy Reading! :)

Chapter 19: Talking Rainbows

Kim's POV

As sleep left me, I felt very warm, warmer than I usually was. I stretched and snuggled closer to Jared's warm chest. "Morning sweetheart," Jared murmured, brushing my hair back and kissed my forehead. "How long have you been awake?" I asked.
"Not very long. You look peaceful when you're asleep. When you're awake you look like you are carrying around the weight of the world on your shoulders." Jared's fingers brushed the side of my face, causing me to blush and to hide my face in the pillow.
"We need to get up," I sighed, looking at the clock a few minutes later. It was nearly ten in the morning. "Do we have to?" Jared groaned, pulling me closer. I laughed and tried to wiggle away. Jared smiled and held me tighter. "Yes Jared, we have to get up. I need to let Cora know that I'm still alive. I also want to IM my brother." I said. Jared heaved a large sigh and made a huge show of releasing me. I laughed and climbed out of the bed. Jared rolled out of bed as well. He kissed me and said, "I'll let you take the shower first while I make breakfast."
"Alright. Don't burn down the house." I joked as he left the room. I grabbed one of his shirts from the dresser and went into the bathroom.

After showering, I put on his shirt- which went down to my knees- and jeans from yesterday. I tossed my dirty shirt in the hamper. Taking a hair tie from my wrist, I shortened the shirt by tying it up in the back. After braiding my hair, I decided that looked good enough and went downstairs.
From the looks of it, either Jared had tried to make French toast, or Ares had paid a visit and vented pent up anger. Considering that the god of war didn't usually hold in his anger, it mostly likely the former. Jared had barely avoided burning down the house. "I told you no to burn down the house," I said, making Jared jump slightly. He turned around with a sheepish look on his face. But it quickly transformed into something else. He walked swiftly over to me and kissed me deeply. "What was that for?" I gasped when I could breathe again.
"I like you wearing my clothes." He said simply, completely serious.

I shook my head, laughing. I took in all the damage and started to throw away all the burned food. "Go take a shower, I'll take care of this mess." I ordered. Jared kissed me quickly before bounding up the stairs to his room. It took me longer than I expected to clean up the kitchen; I don't even know it was possible for Jared to burn water.

By the time the kitchen was spotless, Jared had finished in the shower and was back in the kitchen. "You sure know how to make a mess." I joked. "But I'm hungry and I don't feel like cooking," I continued seriously, hand on my stomach.
"So... we're going to Emily's?" Jared asked hopefully. I paused, knowing what it actually meant besides getting food. "Ahhhhh... no. I was going to have Esme cook something for me. But you can go to Emily's if you want."

Jared frowned and looked hurt. "But... I figured you would want to stay here... with me"
"I do, its just... I promised I wouldn't go back until its all over and done with. Anyways, Esme is a really good cook and I don't want Emmet to use the time to rack up a high score and have a better chance to beat me at call of duty." I said, walking to the door. I was just opening the door when Jared suddenly appeared behind me, grabbing my wrist. "Please Kim?" He asked softly. One look into his eyes and I nearly caved. "I cant," I whispered back. We were at a stale mate.

"If I let u go... will, you come back to me tonight?" Jared asked slowly.

"Yes. I promise!" I cried, happy that a compromise had been made.

"You better, otherwise I will have no problem crossing the treaty line to get you." I shivered and nodded. "But I'm going to walk you as far as I can and I will be waiting for you at the border at seven."

"Nine."

"7:30."

"8:00"

"Fine. 8 O'clock sharp." Jared sighed. I beamed at him and kissed his cheek. "Now I need your help to contact my brother."

"How do you do that?" Jared asked as I led him around the side of the house to where the hose rested on the ground. "I'll show you. But first, we need to make a rainbow." I said, picking up the hose. Turning on the hose, I accidentally sprayed Jared. I dropped the hose, shock on my face. "I am so sorry Jared!"

He glared playfully at me. "Sweetheart, I already took a shower. I don't need another one." He picked up the hose, holding his thumb over the top, creating a stream. It hit me straight in the chest. "And now we're even." He smirked. I groaned at his childness and willed the water off me. "And I'm a daughter of the god of the sea. Now just create a mist with that hose."

"And why do you need a rainbow to talk to your brother?" Jared asked, turning the angle of the hose slightly, creating a rainbow.
I didn't answer him. Instead, I took out a drachma out of my pocket. "O Iris, goddess of the rainbow, please except my offering and show me Percy Jackson, whereabouts unknown." I said, flipping the coin into the rainbow, fingers crossed. The coin disappeared and I sighed, relieved. I smirked at Jared's surprised gasp. Percy appeared in the mist and I forgot what snaky remark I was going to make. "Percy!" I called and he turned around.
"Kim!" He said, smiling himself.

"Where have you been?! Its been months since I was last able to contact you! Is something wrong? Where are you?" I asked rapidly. It looked like he was on some kind of ship.

"Yeah... about that. Its a long story and I don't really have time to tell you all of it. Here is the really really short version, the Romans are real. The demigods have a camp called camp Jupiter based in L. A. and they are currently pissed at every Greek demigod, so beware. Another war is brewing, this time with Gaea. The new great prophecy- the prophecy of seven- is coming into play. The seven is me, Annabeth, Leo, Pipper, Jason, hazel, and frank. The last three are Romans. Leo and Pipper are new Greek demigods. We are currently flying to Greece on a ship that Leo made to stop Gaea from rising. I think that sums it up." Percy explained just as rapidly as my questions.

"Well, that was unexpected." I managed to get out.

"I know, tell me about it." Percy laughed. "So what have you been up to?"

"Oh this and that. You remember Jared-"

"The guy you had that crazy crush on?" Percy interrupted.

I glared at him before continuing. "Yes, him. Well, we are currently dating. Another thing you should know, the la push legends are real. Jared is a werewolf- Jared, this is Percy we're talking to. Who is going to tell?" I told Jared, seeing his shocked expression. "He's with you?" Percy asked sharply.

"Who do you think is holding the hose. And he's know about me being a demigod for a while. Anyways, the Cullens, a family who lives near forks, are actual vampires. Cora and I are working to prevent a little war of our own."

A shout came from another part of the ship and Percy turned his head. Another boy came into view. He had blonde hair and was pretty good looking, but he had nothing on Jared. He seemed like a very serious kind of guy. "Kim, this is Jason, son of Jupiter, aka Zeus. Jason, this is my sister Kim." Percy said, introducing us. I waved and Jason nodded his head.

"Coach is calling a meeting down below deck. He sent me to come get you." Jason said to Percy. My brother nodded his head and turned to me. "I got to go sis. I'll talk to you later okay?"

"Stay alive." I said.

"You too." Percy said before waving his hand, making the image to disappear.

I stood there, lost in my thoughts while Jared turned off the hose. "Kim? You okay?" He asked, concerned.
"I don't know. Another war is upon us and who knows how many lives it will take this time. And to think the Romans are real." I muttered, shaking my head.

"And that's bad?"

"Its very bad Jared. Greek and Romans are known for hating each other. If there are demigods descended from roman gods... then the world is even more in danger than I originally thought. I need to talk to Carlisle now."

"Why do you need to talk to the leech?"

"Because he would know the most about Romans. And don't call him that." I took off towards the Cullens, Jared hot on my heels.

Did any of you see that coming? Any predicitions as to what will happen? I don't know when I will exactly update... but I will try to update in the near future.
